Could anyone on chinese rom port the "Theme store apk"?
I'm on A2017U and would like to try that too.

You'll need a ZTE CN account to download themes. I tried to create an account but it asks for a phone number and when using international code i did get the sms needed to activate a new user
i can't create or login my account from phone, but i can login in web page with my Weibo account...
Into the phone i haven't this possibility...
same here... we are all looking for someone who will either explain how to create an account outside of china, or download the themes and post them offline for us.
Could you guy post the store apk? I may find a way to creat zte account - or some of my friend will have

Actually it's LiveStore.apk
But I put it in /system > app and /system > priv-app

Could you share how to make it work?
I have an idea that you could creat an account at zte.com.cn - by using sub account like weibo, linkedin...
You can use Google translate and select the register by email... That's what I did and it worked.. Just to make an account, I don't know how to install it on a non rooted device

Did you put in "@" before gmail.com?

It provides support for email accounts from other providers including Yahoo, iCloud Mail, Outlook and basically any account that supports IMAP/POP or Exchange.

Based on my experience, I was able to install this version even if I have the old play store Gmail (which means there is no conflict with signature). I do hope that it remains that way with the official release in play store.
Anyway, you can safely uninstall this to install the official one.

There is no harm in installing this apk. This one is signed by Google, so you should have no problems in the future as well.
And even if you do face a problem, you can just uninstall this one and download the updated one form the play store as @erljayp suggested.

I took me a while to figure out how to edit those ttf files but i finally managed to pull it off!
I started from s5 samsung emoji and edited all regular smiley faces with use of binary code with png's extracted from:

Thanks to the original developer vXBaKeRXv, who made these png's for Iphone!
And thanks for MitchTalmadge who made Emoji-Tools which let you extraxt png files from ttf files.
Note: this doesn't work in whatsapp and Facebook Messenger. Those apps have its own build in emoji. This should work when in messaging, notifications, other apps that use the build in system emoji,...
Install:
1. unpack
2. use file explorer with root and go to /system/fonts/ and backup NotoColorEmoji.ttf by renaming it to NotoColorEmoji-backup.ttf
3. now paste the new NotoColorEmoji.ttf into /system/fonts/
4. set rights to of this new file to: RW-R--R--
5. reboot phone
6. enjoy!

no, this doesn't work on whatsapp... whatsapp uses his own emoticons, build in into the application, so does facebook messenger. test it in regular messaging.
In whatsapp however, I can see the emoticons when I go to smilies using my keyboard (but not when pressing on the smiley icon inside whatsapp), when sending a custom emoticon in whatsapp, whatsapp overwrites it sadly by its own. They don't use the system smilies for sending.
also, only you see the batman emoji. Other people still see the regular ones if they didn't install this mod

That would be possible if someone would modify the ios one. But it took me a many hours to create and modify the Samsung one with a hex editor. Don't have the time to do this myself for now... If someone else has the time, feel free!
Maybe I do it in the future. But I'm not making any promisses...

Ok, I found some time, and some software to do this quick.
It's based on iOS 8.3. I had to remove the skin colours of emoticons to do this as fast as possible. I don't want to spend another day in doing these edits with a hex editor.
Installation instructions are the same as for the S5 one, so see my first post!
ps: didn't test them myself, but they should work (maybe some smileys missing, but that's because I used 8.3 source... Maybe you can test it out and let me know

Yeah! Just enter the chinese website and translate everything to english. It worked for me and instead of making a new account I opened one with facebook.

Xda has lost much of the real talented developers it once had and now everyone is just kids that learn how to complie source and make roms and call themselves developers.
You can try mi free-form if you want. It isn't as good as xhalo but dose the work and works great on A11. For more info check their telegram @mi-freeform. Mind you this module is just like the floating windows miui offers

You can also use multiple window at the same time and switch between apps. The floating button in left is to enable the freeform windows! And you can also enable it through status bar
