Be remember 1st boot take some times if u stuck on boot animation r mi logo. Do restart manually by long pressing power button

Installing xposed via magisk is the easiest method imo

[MOD][XPOSED][5.x-6.x] MIUI Brightness Fix

Fixes autobrightness and minimal brightness level on MIUIv7 (5.x-6.x).
Removes ugly chineese code that sets range of auto brightness levels to 3 (0, 120, 2000). Also fixed code that automaticly sets minimal screen brightness to 40 (now it's 1, before you may see increased brightness slider in manual mode after setting it to minimal level. Now - it's fixed too.)
Also you can change levels manual in module UI
Requirements
Your phone must be rooted
Xposed framework must be installed first
Instructions
Install the module
Activate module in Xposed Installer
Reboot
Enjoy!
Credits
Thanks to urix2003 for autobrightness patch and to anvert for his thoughts about minimal brightness level!

What about 4.x ?
I can't install this apk on my MIUI 7, it said "There was a problem parsing package", please repair it ,thanks~
This module only for android 5.x-6.x. I was reversed KutKat MIUIv7 and didn't find this ugly code for brightness conttol
Tried to install but ended in a bootloop after activating the module. Device details be below:
Phone: Xiaomi Mi 4c
OS: MIUI 7.2.1 Stable
Xposed framework v80 solarwarez version 64bit.
I really wanted this module to work as MIUI auto brightness sucks big time. Please do tell what data is needed to fix the bootloop I'll be happy to provide them
Version 1.2 released. Fixed bootloop on some devices. Thanks to chickentuna for issue and testing.
Got bootloop on MIUI 7 rom 6.3.17 on Redmi note 3 pro.

Sent you a pm a few hours ago. Still having bootloops with the newest apk you've provided. Not sure if this is related or if it matters but the phone is on manual brightness before installing and activating the module. I've rebooted the phone and right after setting the brightness to automatic, the phone rebooted and went to endless bootloop
It would be great if you resolve this.

hi there! Installed Xposed without any problems on the newest 14S Rom!
I did that because i hoped to find a way to get something like doubletap2wake through that but it seems like there is nothing you can do if the kernel itself doesnt support it from the getgo.
Do you guys know of any more ways to wake up the le max 2 apart from the power button and fingerprint sensor?
Thanks!

I'm on stock s19 indian ROM. XPOSED worked only until i use SuperSU as root manager. I switched to Magisk and now i can't able to install systemless XPOSED. It stuck on booting screen. I tried this one with Magisk, got it installed properly, safetynet passed with patch, but none of the modules worked.
So what should i do to have working XPOSED?

XPosed

For those interested we can now run XPosed on XZ1
Me myself I have FW 47.1.A.12.34
Install the DRMFix according to post 53 in the [oreo]XZ1-drmfix-root-ricoff. This gives me recovery, root and DRMFix.
Then I downloaded and flashed installed XPosed and the installer from the [OFFICIAL] Xposed for Lollipop/Marshmallow/Nougat/Oreo thread
SDK for OREO 8.0 (which is the version in FW 47.1.A.12.34) is SDK26 and the architecture is Arm64.
I Flashed the XPosed zip, booted phone and installed the XposedInstaller apk. The app then told me the framework was installed but not loaded, so I istalled it once more from the app (direct install, not using recovery). After reboot did everything work as a charm
I used to use Xposed but I can't think of any modules that are worth bothering with the install these days. Can you recommend anything worthwhile bro?

I actually only use a package for greenify and a "Eventlock" module to get my calendar data on the lockscreen
Yeah, that's the problem for me. Xposed used to be about to do so much that Android couldn't but the OS has come so far now that I don't feel the need for it anymore.

Yeeea.....bur I just had to check it out when I saw there is a beta version of Xposed for Oreo.
Just because I'm curious
I know, I feel the same way but just didn't see the benefit of it at the time. I used to love Xposed. I actually forgoe certain upgrades because I would lose Xposed in the past. Those days are gone now though.
For all who are intrested:
Gravity Box for Oreo is now released!
I think the best XPosed Modul on the Repository!

I think U install xposed sdk 25 for x86 architecture , go to magisk install xposed framework it will automatically do everything just install app manually .
You need to manually install xposed installer app compatible with magisk, normal version app doesn't work with magisk xposed.
To download the apk go to magisk xposed thread.
