[Google Assistant] Redmi Note 3-No root no unlocking of bootloader - Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Themes, Apps, and Mods

This i think is one of the most easiest process and works all the time
1) First change your Language to English(US).
Settings>Additional Settings>Language and Input>Language>English (US)
2)The go to playstore and then search For Google app. Become it's beta tester(scroll down and select "I'm in") and do the same for play services.
Update the above beta apps
3)Again go to settings clear Google app data. And then Reboot your device.
4)When start your phone press and hold home button and there you go...! It's your own Google assistant.

Google has started rolling out Assistant updates to all Marshmallow and Nougat devices.
PS Google Assistant works with Nano and higher GApps. No need to tweak stuff.

[Q] google now isn't working or i don't have it

I've just rooted my gt-i9100g with cm 10 stable but when I long press menu button nothing happens just a vibrate.
Does availability of Google now depends on gapps package when flashing Google apps.
Then give me link of that gapps package with Google now.
I've enabled hardware action to search assistant in settings.but it also not working. I think I don't have Google now.is it available in .apk ?
So I can install it without flashing gapps.

[Q] [HELP] Manually installed wrong version of Google Play Services

Hi!
I own a Motorola Moto X 2nd gen, model XT1097 (brazilian retail), running the official Android 5.0 released by Motorola, rooted and bootloader unlocked.
After the manual installation of the Google Play Services 6.5.88 (1599915-836) version, I have lost the Smart Lock functionality. I have tried many times to uninstall this update, and manually install the correct version for my device, the 6.5.87 (1599771-438), what brings back the funcionality. But, after some time, the system automatically updates to the wrong version again and again.
I have tried many ways to avoid this, using apps that disable auto updates (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sequoiaz.disableautoupdate) and that disable services (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cn.wq.disableservice). This last one, I used following the instructions of this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/general/tip-disable-android-update-t2876674. I have disabled the backup of my account, and even deleted all the data backed up of my device at the Google servers. But, unfortunately, no one of these methods have success.
Please, what can I do for my device mantain the appropriate version, and have the Smart Lock functionality restored?
Thank you very much, and sorry for my bad English!
Have you tried this:
Go to settings->Apps->Google play services and press "Uninstall updates". Confirm the dialogue.

Yes, I did it. After that, I've manually installed the correct version, but, the auto update overwrite it with the wrong version.
Thanks!!! it worked for me in lollipop...Please go to the downloaded section of the apps!!

Hi,
how can i remove google play service update?
i can only delete Cache and Data?
So, you're basically breaking some of the phone's most essential functions. I'm not ungrateful or anything, on the contrary, but if you really, really, absolutely need GPay to work - why don't you just run stock with a locked bootloader?
unfortunately i have a china version of Mi 9. so i am not able to use gpay with stock rom

HUGE THANK YOU! After a month of painful troubleshooting finally i got gpay working thanks to you. At first I Had some trouble with play services due to auto update being too fast (yeah, network was faster than my fingers and couldn't block it with afwall in time) but the second time i tried it actually worked just fine. I updated Play Services anyway since i don't need more than the card i already added, but i need the Play Store. Thank you again!
Hi, i have a new instruction from an other forum and it works for me, because i dont need Magisk.
EU 9.5.9, services 17.4.53 configured PAY without magisk \ root through TWRP
SafetyNet did a verification with the application "SafetyNet Helper Sample"
1) through TWRP in /data/data/com.google.android.gms/app_dg_cache we remember the names of the folders
2) with the SafetyNet Helper Sample application, we check, everything is green, we return again to TWRP
3) A new folder will appear in /data/data/com.google.android.gms/app_dg_cache, leave it, we delete the old ones from p1
4) set the permissions 0551 to the /data/data/com.google.android.gms/app_dg_cache folder
and try use gPay

New Google Assistant

[ROOT]New Google Assitant
Follow these steps:-
1:- Apply Dark theme in your device Display setting
(Enable the Dark theme option)
2:- Join the beta program of Google App through play store.
3:- Now we have to change some lines in our 'build.prop' file to match that of the Pixel's 'build.prop'. To do that, download this file & flash it via Magisk.
4:- Clear the app data of Google Play services, Google App & Google Play Store.
5:- Reboot your Device.
6:- And then go to Google play Store & update Google Play Services, & change your device language to English(US).
7:- Now for the final step, open Google Assistant & finish the set-up process.
Note:- I'm using Android 10 on X00TD(Official Pixel Experience)& it works perfectly on my device. But I'm not sure if it is working on any lower versions of android. So, if you are trying this on Android 9 or below and if it works on your device, do comment below so that i can update this article. Some custom OEM skins (like Color OS, One UI, etc.) have built-in support for dark theme for all apps. So there's no need to follow these steps if you are using any custom versions of android. Just check your respective theme stores.
I followed same steps, I'm on pe10, now google assistant is not even opening
