Need Help - Unable to Turn off "Find my device" - Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Questions & Answers

Hello Devs
Today I unofficially unlocked the bootloader and installed ZCX TWRP and flashed MIUI 8.0.6 Global Stable ROM with MI OTA survival enabled.
Now when I rebooted the phone and after initial setup it showed that this device is connected with my MI account, I tried to login but it won't let me do it.
It continuously showed error for logging in MI account. It showed finding your device. I was unable to go to main screen and phone remained in initial setup.
Rebooted multiple times, cleared Dalvik cache. But nothing happened.
Then I went to I.mi.com and logged in, removed my device from console.
Tried again to log in after reboot and somehow it skipped that part and phone started to home screen
Now, strange thing started happening. Settings are not opening at all. It's just crashing and crashing.
When turning off find my device, I am getting below error (see screenshot).
Guys please help me, as I am having fear that if I flash MIUI 8.1.6 via updater, I may face this MI account problem once again.
Any prompt help will be highly appreciated

[Q] Have problems connecting to google servers and cannot use recovery, unlocked?

Hello,
I am sorry if the question has been answered before, or this is the wrong forum...
I had problems with gmail and the playstore, none allowed the login, I always received connection error on different wifis. So I wiped data (which worked) but the initial setup is stuck on the connection to the google servers again. It won't connect and authenticate my google login.
So I tried the RCK option in the debug menue, but it only gives me an android with an exclamation mark.
Now my wuestion, I tried to unlock in the past, but was unable to do so (Connection error, blahblahblah...). Is it possible I am unlocked and have no knowledge of this? Is there an app which can test the unlocked bootloader or is trying to flash a custom rom "safe" as it just fails and everything will work as normal after that?
Thanks in advance,
hal
Hello,
fixed it by using fastboot and the latest image given by Asus. I still wonder why my recovery won't work...

[HELP] Hard Reset, and my phone's not working!

Hello,
I have unofficially unlocked my bootloader using this method:
And have installed Pure Nexus ROM in proper method (1. Flashing Firmware. 2. Flashing ROM. 3. Flashing GAPPS 4. Magisk 5. Franco Kernel) on my Kenzo and it was working perfectly fine for over a month (with few issues such as network drop on VoLTE, etc.,) until yesterday, so I came across in a forum post that the firmware from LineageOS fixes network drop issues, and so I have flashed it and Wipe+Dalvik Cache cleared. When I rebooted I found that the device wouldn't startup and later came to know I have lost my recovery as well. I have used MiFlash to install stock rom on my phone, and it successfully installed the ROM too, but when I tried to login to my MiAccount (during startup wizard) it shows an error that I have made multiple verification request within 24 hour time period. I have somehow Bypassed the setup wizard by installing GO Launcher, but when I try to access the developers options to enable USB Debugging and OEM Unlock it says "Developer options are not available for this User". Nobody could call me as well (1st ring goes and later it says the person is busy making me hang up on them but I actually am not), and it's been almost 2 days. This is my only phone I have! Really want a help to switch back to Custom ROM, or least fix this and stay stockish!
Thanks in advance!
Perhaps the least thing you've got is to wait that 24h period to expire, reboot and log your account. If account problem persists, contact xiaomi.

Redmi 5 Plus stopped working after latest update

Hi
I received an update on my Redme 5 Plus las night. After installing it my phone has stopped working. I did see a message that was something like 'This update cannot be installed on this device', and prompted me to Reboot. Since then I am stuck on Reboot. I have tried factory resetting using the 'Wipe data' option as well. I also installed MI PC Suite, connected the phone to the PC and played around, nothing happens. Clicking on R.Flash says that the device is up to date.
I am now desperate, somebody please help. I have looking up on forums etc, but haven't been able to figure it out yet. The phone is only a month old, was quite happy so far.
Thanks

I never used mi pc suite, if you have your bootloader unlocked download fastboot rom and flash it through miflash tool. Also you can install a custom recovery like TWRP in fastboot mode and try any of the custom roms

Note 4 issues after unroot (CloudAgent, DRK and Dm-Verity Verification Failed)

Hello, I rooted my Note 4 about 2 years ago and never installed any custom ROM nor have I installed a custom recovery. It had been android 5.0.1. Recently, I decided to unroot and finally update it to 6.0.1. I then used ODIN and flashed the official firmware on sammobile. Everything went well with ODIN and the flash was complete. However, once my device rebooted, there was an error where it says "Device does not have DRK, please install DRK first..." and then there was an "error" in the middle of the screen. After 10 min, I removed the battery and manually reset the phone. Once my Note 4 booted back up, everything seemed fine, but i had this constant "unfortunately cloud agent has stopped" msg. Also, I noticed each time I opened the Gallery app, it would crash and the same "unfortunately cloud agent has stopped" would pop up. I tried to force stop the CloudAgent and gallery in my application manager but the issue continued to persist. When I would go into the settings under application settings, simply by clicking the gallery option will crash the settings app. Even my camera app would crash and have the same msg when I click the gallery preview on the bottom right. I read online that it was an issue with dropbox, but nothing changed. Finally, I decided to factory reset and wipe the cache partition my phone through recovery. I then noticed both DRK and Dm-Verity Verification Failed msg in red on the bottm of the recovery menu. Restarted the phone and everything seemed fine until I noticed the "unfortunately cloud agent has stopped" msg again. Not only that, when I try to turn NFC down in the setting, the setting app itself would crash. Tried factory resetting the phone a couple of time but the issues were still there. I also noticed that each time that I would reset my phone, there was the "Android is starting..." green screen that appears as if I was doing updating my phone. I tried re-installing the firmware with ODIN again, but I still had the same issues. I tried using smart switch to re-install the firmware but once i get my phone in download mode, Smart Swtich cant recognize my phone. Here we are now, I can use my phone, but I cant open the gallery app to see my photos, I cant turn off nfc in the settings, I have both DRK and Dm-Verity Verification Failed msg in recovery and I get the green Android is starting screen every time I restart the phone. Any help would be a miracle xD
I forgot to mention this, but before flashing the firmware, I forgot to reinstall some bloatware/Samsung apps that came with the, it might be related. I did back them up with titanium backup tho.
Some specs:
SM-N910W8 (Bell), I unlocked it and use it with Fido
Android 6.1.1

Xiaomi MiMix 3 after flashing xiaomi.eu rom, stuck on checking for updates (at setup)

Hi,
I flashed the xiaomi.eu rom with magisk for my mi mix 3. The installation was smooth and no problems occurred. The phone booted up after install and showed the Miui 10 set up wizard. I chose the language and then connected to the wifi and it then goes to the screen that says it is checking for updates, and it is just stuck there with the wheel spinning. I had no options to skip it and the same thing happens when I try to connect through cellular data.
Do I just have to wait or is this some kind of bug? I am currently in China, so maybe the internet restrictions in China is affecting it somehow? I don't think I did anything wrong with the install and have no idea why it is like this. I can still access TWRPs so is there a way for me to skip the setup wizard at the start? If I can skip it will it affect the phone in some way or will it just be default settings?
Any help will be much appreciated.
Did you found the solution?
