Galaxy s6 / edge ois and dis

Hello guys I just wanted to share my knowledge in something related to the camera of our beastly phone and please share your thoughts as well I want to make sure because there are a lot of videos is showing something not real in the phone while comparing to others
OIS : is a hardware thing not a software and it can't be switched off or played with ... it's used in all the video qualities including the 4k ....
DIS : is a software process that is customizable with a switch one and off and used only for 1080p and 720p (30 fps )
He funny part the when u close the dis and the phone use only the ois the video become wobbly right ? and sharp movement but with he dis it's smooth video and some times it shakes really hard and cropped not like the normal video u shoot with the ois ...
If you have anything you would like to say or any video to compare please share...
I'm not sure if I'm right or wrong.

Low light images should be better on Z2 play due to aperture also it supports 60fps
From what I can discern those photos look pretty much the same and based on published phone reviews really no improvement to camera despite marketing as such.

I posted in another thread, it is an improvement but not worth it for the retail price of the phone currently.
"Spec wise the Z2 Play camera is better, no argument about it. "f2.0 and 1.3um pixel size" -vs- the new "f1.7 and 1.4um w/ phase detection and laser focus". By definition the Z2 Play camera lets in more light which mean it will take better low light photos.
Problem with with Z Play camera is over exposure in light area. It's easy to be fooled that the Z Play take better low light photos because of this over exposure effect, but this cause lost of dynamic and details. Z2 photos have more dynamic and sharper. There are some color temperature issue with the Z2 Play sample photos that make all of them purplish, it could be a software/post processing issue that hopefully get fixed, or something wrong with their device. I would say aside from the purple issue, every Z2 Play photos are sharper with better contrast."
I'm going to be brave and say this is the first Moto camera that doesn't suck. The mzp was just another bad one in a long line of ones I've had. Here is a fairly low light shot with motion. Yes there is motion blur in most of it but the left side with less motion is clear. Still not as good as a Sony sensor equipped LG phone but at least everything doesn't fall apart.
A normal light shot in a shaded botanical garden.
A night indoor shot. Basically other Moto cameras would be grainy and or blurred.
A typical outdoor scene
Lowlight in z play.

Moto Z Force 2016 while not quite at the top definitely does not suck and with the NX camera app can do some good things in low light also.
I wonder if they put the force camera in the Z2 play. Even in low light it is pretty good.

My Redmi Note 3 Pro has a low framerate while recording at night.

Hello guys.
I got a problem, that maybe all the users who have Redmi Note 3 have. In MIUI stock camera app, I get a low framerate when there's low light, or when I want to record at night. Even in all camera apps I used (open camera etc) I get same framerate (15 fps.) I just want to know, is there any mod/app, that makes less lagg? I need at least 25+ fps to go. Is it possible at all?
Thanks for your answer.

Try using Lumio Cam, it should get you a stable 30fps @ 1080p in lowlight or 25 fps at 4k in low light, it's the only camera app I know of that doesn't cause FPS dips in low light.
so annoying xiaomi is limiting this camera, so much can be done with it ([email protected]), 4k , image stabilization, fix the FPS low light issue...etc

You need way more light for slow mo. Like where the picture comes out white washed and then it's good. At least for my s9+

It is 720p (not 1080p or 4k, and like another poster stated, you need great light. Go to Pro mode and set your shutter speed to 1/480 or 1/960 and you'll get an idea how much light is needed.
