This is a patch for Le Max 2 by which you can enable volte for Le max 2.
Supported Roms:
1. Working for AKOP Rom (andrus)
2. Didn't test for other roms, andy body can test tell me whether working or not

Instructions:
Clean flash
1. Download AKOP rom
2. Download Volte patch
3. Flash the rom according to instructions provided on rom thread
4 In the end flash volte patch
5. Reboot.

Option not showing but calls are working checkout
To see the options go to Settings/Restore Factory Settings/Network Settings Reset then reboot.
You'll have to re-sign into wireless but that should bring up menu
Only tested on Tmobile USA

checked he thread for vibe x 3, there are no proper custom roms, it is only possible if roms are developed as per latest sources

I may be mistaken about this, but the antenna is shared on the Nexus 5, isn't it? So it cannot support the LTE-to-3G handoff and as a result may never support VoLTE...

No...it is base on KITKAT version....
but one bug i found on this rom...
in incoming call or out coming call when you turn on speaker mode the mic did not work on one sim card....it based which sim is on data connection...
the simcard that data connection off on it has this bug,,,, could u fix it ?

What should I choose in aroma? Default? I've tried all four variants in aroma. Result is same. There is a trouble same as on original rom by lpws521 – if you insert only one SIM then there would be no 3G mobile internet at all (3G icon will blink and you get no internet error). Can you fix it? Also there LTE (4G) is not working here.
What is the difference between original rom from lpws521 then?

Then what's your job here? What have you done? It was possible to use MIUI 7 on Z3 Dual before your "ROM" with same bugs.
Is this possible? It's a feature I greatly appreciated when using the AOSP patch Rom.

Agreed with the sentiment but as I mentioned in my first post, it's a feature I was using in the AOSP ROM that's based on the miui8 stock Rom.
I'm actually liking the miui9 Rom other than missing being able to listen to YouTube music whilst using Google navigation.
I'll just have to store more music on my local storage

You may have a point. It might have been something I found within gravitybox. I can't find the settings there now though
It is possible to use a "split screen" in aosp marshmallow, you activate that on developer options. But MIUI does not have that option.

I've just found the instructions after searching the forums. Thanks but I cannot get it to work.
I've edited build.prop and enabled the setting within developer options but the recent-apps screen doesn't have the needed icons.
Any ideas? Do I need to flash an alternative "recent apps" from another Rom perhaps? Where might I find info?

Try older versions of Magisk, 20.4 or 20.3 should work fine.

Update: Have tried it and everything seem great. But there is a issue - The lowest point of the brightness bar make the screen totally off, I have tested and the lowest value which not dim out the display is "2" but I don't know how to set the minimum value of the brightness slider, any solution to fix this?
