My issue is that I bought a LG phone Optimus LTE2 f160k and I root it. The blunder i made that I removed some system applications.
When I restart phone, it didn't. I tried to enter in recovery mode(power+volume up+home) and made hard reset but nothing happened, and download mode(power+volume down+home) but the mobile not connected in download mode, instead it just restarting every time and showing security error whenever I connect my phone to PC.
Now the current situation is that my phone is powering up by pressing power button. and LG logo then security error .
The problem is that where should i start now? how can it unbrick my phone?. any tools?
Please help me in this as I am very worry about it.

Emergency mode and flash a KDZ.
how do i enter in emergency mode? it dose this : it powers up ...it displays the LG logo (just the lg logo like its drawn on the back of the phone and thats it ! )and then shuts down....like when hes out of juice under 2 %....and i cant jump over that

If you can get in emergency mode but the app doesn't recognise the phone, you've most likely bricked your phone.
Try the shaking tip or reinstalling the drivers or something.
Install the USB drivers that come with the LG Air Suite and LG Update Tool.
i cant get pass by the lg logo ...thats it...it dies there and the pc dosent recognise it...when i plug it into the usb it keeps looping ..
so the main thing is why dosent it starts ...ive only killed the custom recovery ...i had void installed...so why?
Try holding Home + Vol. Down + Power. This should do a factory reset / boot custom recovery.

ive tried ...that and to enter in eemergency mode and it dosent...i need to factory reset the custom recovery

The only thing you can do from emergency mode is use the KDZ Updater or try using the LG Update Tool.
Set the KDZ Updater to EMERGENCY and CS_EMERGENCY mode. Try also changing the phone type, there are several.
Sometimes the Updater doesn't recognize your device. You should try again.
Other options include buying a dongle box(SpiderMan Box, Vygis Box, Infinity Box...).
And off couse - LG Service. You could always blame LG if they don't have proof that you messed your phone yourself...

What do you mean by "I'm home?"
If you have managed to restore/reinstall android simply install LG Air Suite IV.
If you haven't, install only the drivers.

le ...so i tried to make it back to emergency mode...it dose see the little brat..it just installed 3 usb drivers named LGE ...but kdz still is useless
Try a different USB port or plug in another device in this one to see if it works.
Also see if the phone charges when you plug it in the charger - if not, buy another cable.
so the pc installs the drivers but kdz says that the port = -1 and the phone was not found

Okay long story short, I attempted to install transparent cm7.2 status bar and phone bricked (fastboot). I fixed it and installed other phone model's cwm with windows cmd command (stupid, I know). After this I'm always stuck at lg screen. Can't get into recovery either. Lg update tool does not find the phone, neither does cmd.exe. I sometimes get the ''colored snow screen'' or whatever I should call it. But it doesnt change the fact that the phone can't be recognized by anything.
What should I do? I ran out of ideas. I can't turn the phone in any mode, it always starts with the lg screen.

bump. dammit, am i really screwed? I managed to get a notification about new hardware installing yesterday but none of the driver stuff I had worked so I left it the way it was and did not install anything afterwards.
I've just entered Emergency Mode!! with volume up+down+plugging into usb. Some driver got installed but there's still no lg stuff in device manager

The phone is a brick. It doesn't turn on in any way. Completely dead. If I could get to CWM I wouldn't be asking for a story to tell the phone suppliers xD
You can use KDZ Updater and also download original lg firmware. All can be found here in this forum.

I cant turn my LG optimus hub on I tried to fix it with KDZ (lg software) and then it stuck on 1 file and then it turned off and now i cant turn on! can someone help!!!!
I'm also facing same problem ->"stuck at LG logo"
I can only enter in Emergency mode but nothing else.

You can write me some advice what to do now and is there a chance to fix it ?

try factory reset
pull battery out
press and hold volume up +home+power button (try volume dwn if vol up didn't work)
release power button when phone vibrate
same issue after chainfire
I am also stuck at LG logo with only option working 'Software Updating mode' but offline flash is not detecting phone even though
LGE USB Modem , LGE Usb Composite ,LG Com port are getting installed correctly.
Hard reset also not working.

Any idea to troubleshoot ONLINE lg mobile update utility it detects cell model then download driver and does step 1 analysis but doesn't download anything in step 2. (even when i remove 127.0.0.0)

I saw many posts regarding LG E615 being stuck in bootloops. I had rooted my phone a month back, yesterday i went in for a software update.(Mistake i guess) and after the update when the phone reboots, it started going into a boot loop. I had backed up my data before i updated the phone using LG PC Suite. Now when i switch on my phone, the LG icon keeps flashing on and off. Also when i go into Emergency Download mode, it starts installing the Drivers on the laptop but the LG USB Mobile Modem driver doesn't install. I even installed the driver from external source, but still to no avail. I have already downloaded the firmware for flashing my phone altogether, but will that result in all backed up data also being deleted? Or is there any other way by which i can get my phone working? Also, i forgot to mention but i am unable to open the Recovery mode of the phone as suggested on net as Pressing Volume down+Power and then releasing and pressing Home button. Please help

Hello, I've been trying to find a fix everywhere but I've had no luck. As soon as I power on my LG Optimus L9 p768g it goes into SECURITY ERROR. I've tried with the LG MOBILE SUPPORT TOOL but it won't recognize the phone through the USB. I've tried with different USB cables and neither of them work. Downloaded the usb drivers... nothing. Tried the power+volume down+home button and goes into recovery mode (with the android robot thingy) and as soon as it restarts the phone it goes immediately into that annoying SECURITY ERROR.:crying: HAAALP!
