PixelDust ROM is an Android 11 ROM especially built for the current Google Pixel devices and aimed for stability at its core with themes and customizations.
Our philosophy is to offer all the features known from the Google Pixel Factory Images paired with a useful selection of the coolest custom ROM features.
Our project is based off directly from AOSP. We attach great importance to aesthetics, themeability and personalization. For this we have integrated a great selection of space wallpapers and a special theme app (many thanks to Dirty Unicorns for their code base) in the settings of the Android OS.
The PixelDust Crew would highly appreciate if you would take a little of your time and leave your valuable feedback, your honest opinion or just say hello. If you should encounter a bug, or some kind of glitch that seems to be abnormal and you are pretty sure that it is related to the ROM (and not related to any special apps or mods you flashed on top), then please give as many details as possible.
Special shoutouts to Roger.T for his amazingly designed wallpapers, logos and the best bootanimation I ever had on my Pixel!!! If you like our work, please consider to buy Roger the first beer, and a few more for the other team members and spezi77. Cheers!

Attention
With this ROM, safety net check works out of the box!
Our builds use the safety net hack by kdrag0n. It is not necessary to root the device and patch it with Magisk to pass the safety net check.
How can I use the VoLTE?
Unfortunately IMS (VoLTE/ViLTE/WFC) is nonfunctional in Android 11 custom ROMs (same problem as with LOS 18.1).
Battery life?
To improve battery life, please switch off Always On Display (AoD).

Deleted.

Any plans to bring this to Sailfish?

Could you provide a link to the fork you made of R51 as well? And did you make any changes to it?
Also your install instructions are a bit odd. Why do users need to format their internal storage as well?
And also step 4 should be required not recommended as the user will end up with no TWRP if they don't do that step.
Looks pretty cool though going to give it a flash and test out. Will report back if I find any bugs. Thanks for your work.

Oh and do you know if HD voice and Wi-Fi Calling work?

What is night light brightness?

Thanks for your feedback.
At the moment I use Despair's GitHub. I didn't see a need for a fork.
Well, on a second thought, I'd say a full wipe is sufficient to prevent any bizarre issues. OP will soon get revised.
It is possible to stay without permanent TWRP. In that case you can always boot into TWRP via fastboot.
I couldn't test HD voice or Volte. Could you give it a shoot? That would be awesome!

Nice! Yo! More ROMs too choose for pixel great stuff!
Thank you!
Happy flashing y'all ?

This looks great, imma give this a go.

Wow! Chrome is super fast never seen that before•like click Boom!
Alright this ROM so far is fast!
I did get framework services stop pop up at startup couple seconds then disappeared haven't seen no morz but I've seen that behavior in pure nexus it only happens in startup, don't think it's a big deal.. flashed on stock B 7.1.1 I restored boot system IMG vendor IMG twrp rc2 all installed fine.
Update•Here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1fT666LqfKMRkt2bTlSWGtCdEk/view?usp=drivesdk are log if you want to check it out it's from first setup.
Apparently can't upload log notice can't choose internal storage.

Wifi calling unable to connect first try second success
volte no go.
Battery so far looking ?

Any temperature control options?

So tried it out for a bit and ran into a bunch of problems. Sorry no logcat, couldn't get setup to grab them. Clean install.
First boot it said i was on wrong vendor, when I definitely have stock C flashed. Tried purenexus vendor as well and same msg.
Lots of google stuff FCing, that seemed to settle down as I updated.
Logcat MAC address was null and google related services throwing a bunch of errors.
No wifi calling, no hd calling.
First time I rebooted, it ended in a recovery boot loop and TWRP always reported no OS installed. Had to flash tomorrow again to get back into android.
On startup it basically killed every system process for one error or another.
KernelAduitor doesn't detect or allow me to set IO scheduler. (Side note, it's just my opinion but I think user should be able to choose which kernel manager to use. Aduitor is and always has been buggy. Exkernel manager is much better. Again just my opinion)
AlarmManagrr was throwing all types of errors.
So uh yeah. That was an hour playing with it again sorry no logs. But this has the potential to be a really great rom, just needs some more polish I think.

Only force stop I got was framework services has not appeared though
No errors here from what you experience.
Update: yea kernel I/O can't change.
Here are the steps I did when installing ROM no errors from twrp rc2 & vendor IMG did not appear on startup. I was on vendor B w/aokp
1. In twrp I wiped system/data/dalvik slot b
2.(I had stock OS NB)•restored boot, System IMG Vendor IMG then I switched to slot a rebooted recovery
3.slot a I restored boot, system img vendor c img∆ & flash vendor C
4 switched to slot b rebooted recovery & flashed ROM w/ twrp rc2
5. Rebooted

I like it, quick unlock is pretty cool plus setting goodies ?
I never had button animation on themes

So far so good. I had some FC during flashing the ROM otherwise no FC.. ROM is smooth and clean. Magisk Manger Works also fine after some struggling. Thank you for the ROM.

Has anyone tried to see if the lockscreen weather updates on its own? So many roms include this as a listed feature but none of them ever work.

Dear @HardStyl3r,
Please be advised that this ROM is the best over this threads. I hope from you to add "Toggle Button" as the LG Stock ROM
By the way, is there any option to hide the Battery icon. Moreover, no option to put the time in the center of the screen.

I see. Regarding for the "Toggle Settings Button" I have enclosed a picture as per in the attachment "The Arrow Button".
Honestly, I have restored the Backup of my Fulmics MM ROM. I will go back to this great ROM when it will be more stable.
By the way, there is no icon for the camera.
Thanks.

NEVER!
I didn't really notice any bugs, though Magisk doesn't seem to be working properly.
I don't know whether this has anything to do with dotOS, but the CTS profile shows "false" and somehow it isn't possible to install any modules from Magisk Manager due to the error "Process failed", appearing every time.
The thing bothering me most is that the camera doesn't work. It tells me to insert an SD card in order for it to work (I have enough room on my phone and I do have an SD card inserted).
However, everything else works brilliantly.
The Android P theme of the Settings app is also nice.
I just noticed a spelling mistake in settings ("Informations" instead of "Information") and a weird thing about the official devices list (only one device is being displayed).
I have also asked whether OTA works properly and got a reply that it does, but I'm still not entirely sure about it, because when I check for updates, nothing moves (no animation, no new notification that no update is available).
Anyway, thanks a lot again for the ROM! :good:
PS I wasn't able to enclose screenshots as XDA Labs wouldn't let me... I'll send them on my PC if really needed.
There's a new update now. To fix the camera issue and SD card problems OTA won't work due to the date on both is the same. So thinks it's up to date but not
You can download update from here

This seems extremely promising, I've been avoiding oreo for a while now but I think this may be the rom I plan on using, simple question: is this stable enough for me to use it as a daily driver?
How's the rom battery?

Pixel Dust ROM is an Android 9.x ROM especially built for Google Pixel and Nexus devices.
Hear what other users say (about Pixel Dust ROM]:
The code is based off directly from AOSP. We strive to keep the Pixel Dust Experience as close as possible to Android as Google intended. We add a decent selection of the coolest custom ROM features that would've been missed if they hadn't been included. Thanks to all development teams, e.g. ABC ROM, AICP, AOKP, AOSPA, BenzoROM, CarbonROM, crDroid, DirtyUnicorns, LOS, OmniROM and PureNexus, we borrowed a few features and tweaks from. The kernel in this ROM is based on ElementalX by flar2 and compiled with Google android clang toolchain.
The Pixel Dust Crew would highly appreciate if you would take a little of your time and leave your valuable feedback, your honest opinion or just say hello. If you should encounter a bug, or some kind of glitch that seems to be abnormal and you are pretty sure that it is related to the ROM (and not related to any special apps or mods you flashed on top), then please give as many details as possible.
Special shoutouts to Roger.T for his amazingly designed wallpapers, logos and the best bootanimation I ever had on my Pixel XL!!! If you like our work, please consider to buy Roger the first beer, and a few more for the other team members and spezi77. Cheers!
BTW, please consider to take a logcat, because you know that:
Disclaimer:
If your device fails to comply with your standards of what you consider functioning, I am not liable. This is provided free of charge and does not come with a warranty. Although, if you provide a log, I can provide some sort of assurance that I will look into your issue.

Thanks! It is 3.2.3-0. Updated the OP. About second point - isn't it possible to fastboot boot twrp in shamu?
Either you install it permanently or boot temporarily via fastboot so that point is correct.

PixelDust ROM is an Android 10 ROM especially built for Google Pixel and Nexus devices.
We rebased the project to Code Aurora Sources, more commonly known as CAF. CAF ROMs are therefore generally considered to be more optimized for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon SoCs than AOSP ROMs (in performance, RAM management, battery, etc.). We strive to keep the PixelDust Experience as close as possible to Android as Google intended. We add a decent selection of the coolest custom ROM features that would've been missed if they hadn't been included.
The PixelDust Crew would highly appreciate if you would take a little of your time and leave your valuable feedback, your honest opinion or just say hello. * TWRP 3.2.3-1 is permanently installed or booted via fastboot (explained here);
First time installing Pixel Dust ROM, or coming from another ROM:
As mentioned above, you are required to flash stock ROM 10.0 before installing this custom ROM.
New users should first flash the stock ROM:
Follow these instructions: https://developers.google.com/android/images#marlin
Clean flash PixelDust ROM:
Reboot to bootloader
Boot into TWRP recovery via fastboot (This is required becaused TWRP is not yet updated for Android 10)
Code:
fastboot boot twrp-3.2.3-1-marlin.img
Advanced Wipe (system, dalvik, data)
Flash ROM
Flash twrp-pixel-installer.zip (it is required in order to flash Magisk later)
Reboot System (Ignore the message: No OS installed)
Do not flash a vendor.img (Pixel Dust ROM has a custom vendor image included)

At the initial boot you need a little patience before you can enjoy the Pixel Dust Goodness!
Experienced users may dirty flash PixelDust ROM:
Use fastboot to boot into TWRP recovery
Advanced Wipe (system, dalvik)
Flash ROM
Flash twrp-pixel-installer.zip
Reboot System and enjoy the Pixel Dust Goodness!
Needa root? Then flash Magisk:
You cannot flash Magisk during the initial install. You must boot into PixelDust ROM at least once!
Reboot to Recovery
Flash Magisk-xxx.zip
Reboot to System
Apply OTA updates:
OTA update process:
Before downloading the OTA update: Make sure TWRP is permanently installed via zip (to both slots)
Download and install the update from "System > System update" screen in Settings
After a bit, it will get stuck at "Finalizing package installation"
Reboot into TWRP, change active slot to inactive and reboot system
Now the system will boot up and finish installing the update

We rebased the project to Code Aurora Sources, more commonly known as CAF. CAF ROMs, if available, are therefore generally considered to be more optimized for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon SoCs than AOSP ROMs (in performance, RAM management, battery, etc.,)..

In the next build I will add a config for vzw which should allow you to switch over to WiFi calling.

Very cool, ROM looks great! Just flashed going to give it a go today What's the difference between this and the other PixelDust ROM? Just the CAF thing?
Great work, looking forward to testing this out
Does This Rom support normal kernel?(like ElementalX
The only issue I'm having is the word "emergency" is always on the lockscreen... Like it would be if locked and you wanted to make an emergency call... Is there a way to get rid of it?? Other than that it seems very solid!!
Contacts names doubled if you use phone.apk ( dialer) and then contact tab .. Its normal if you use contacts.apk
This rom is so smooth an quick darm it i love it..thank you

Nice Work! Thank you for maintaining Op5!
wow nice! I will do the test drive on Sunday as i have work tomorrow.
Does anyone know if microg works on android 11?
You are incredible! Unbelievable you made it!
Though still debating whether to move or not since 5T is my daily driver.
Used NikGapps Full package and doesn't pass the Setup Screen after connecting to the WiFi(at the start of the setup screen)
The desktop will resume when it restart it.
Macro, Stock, Omni and Full(as Cpt. Strawberry Crepe said) NikGAPPS (26 SEP version) won't let you setup. After you connect to Wi-Fi you get white screen. Also, I don't know why but recovery changes to stock android recovery every time I install the ROM. I'm using TWRP3.4 because I'm not decrypted and your recovery shows some weird characters in recovery file manager. I'm not going to try anything else for now. If you find a fix please let me know.
Update: I got it working with basic NikGAPPS 26 SEP.

I can't stress enough the "remove pin protection".
I didn't do it and now my twrp got replaced by some lineage os kind of recovery that doesn't have access to the encrypted storage. Os runs smooth. Some problems with rotation and designs.
Unable to resist diving into it with the coming out of 1008 version.
Clean flashed 1008 version along with Nik Gapps core 1008 version and recent Magisk canary. Every step was flawless and smooth as always from flashing to initial setup.
I've restored my previous apps with the help of Titanium Backup. Unfortunately, Migrate didn't work properly, with errors.
Although many useful features that I so loved are still missing - there are only three taps in crDroid Settings, it seems rock solid and smooth for everyday use if one can withstand them. For me, the most wanted is fingerprint which I have been heavily relied on.
In short, it is stable and good enough to be used as a daily driver even though the modest developer said it is not for daily use in the first place. I cannot thank you enough for all his time and hard works to make it.
The followings are a few bugs that I came across.
* Music app not working.
* With the center clock, there is a gap between left edge and the first icon as if there still present a left clock.
* Power menu options under 'System Gestures' do not work. Only to find it returned to the default when I revisited after changing options. As a result, no way to advanced restart.

Many thanks for the super fast updates with many more customization options. I especially love options for battery styles.
It's great to see fingerprint is back though some of the apps still do not correctly recognize it. I guess they will work some time in the future when they fully support Android 11. Seeing swipe fingerprint for notifications option is also nice.
Phantom spaces in the statusbar has gone and I have switched to center clock. Thank you for the fix.
I also noticed there was 'link ring & notification volumes' option in the Sound setting which I personally think very useful.
Thank you again for all your hard works.
@neobuddy89 Hello, is there any plan to add face unlock in the future builds? Thank you for the ROM and your work!
Can you add face unlock and app hiding features?

Is it possible to run decrypted?
Full nik gapps are working?
Thanks

Thank you for developing such a great Android ROM. I've tried the few Android 11 ROMS for the OnePlus 5T, and this is the only one so far that has been stable on my device. I look forward to future updates.

A huge thank you for the updates! Dirty flashed over previous version with NikGapps 20201010 core version. Flawless as usual.
It's great to see more and more customizations are being imported. Lock screen options are really helpful. Nice to see Music app works, in the meantime I had to rely on other app. Advanced restart works fine, no longer need to resort to magisk. Renewed Clock is also good.
Thank you again for this great ROM.
Hey @neobuddy89 thanks for the build.
I had a clean install of the 19th oct build last night on Dumpling. When I click on Battery on Settings page.. it will close abruptly and brings me back to home screen. Then if I open Settings and click on Battery again, it says Settings keeps stopping.
