OpenKirin presents unofficial TWRP for stock EMUI 4.x !
Intended for usage on stock EMUI 4.x/LineageOS in combination with unlocked bootloader.
Instructions​
Code:
1. Make sure the device running EMUI 4.x
2. Enter fastboot mode on unlocked device
3. flash recovery using the following command : "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img"
4. reboot to recovery ( please check this [URL="https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=71429023&postcount=73"]info[/URL] after TWRP was installed - and before take any actions )

Q: What's the difference compared to the official version ?
A: properly restored EMUI firmware, by not wiping : /data/cust
A: updated kernel image to stock Huawei Firmware Android MM ( B596 ).
A: 100% compatible with Huawei P8Lite ( ALE-LXX ).
A: removed USB-OTG support - this option, doesn't seems to work.
Q: What's the code status?
A: 02. April 2017
Q: which models are supported?
A: every model should be supported.

A: No.

Sorry if i'm wrong but isn't this for kirin model? Not for "every" model since there is snapdragon version too. Btw. Nice to see you on p8lite forums too :good:

@surdu_petru, when I connect to the PC shows cherry as device name, shouldn't be ALE-L21 or alice?

"cherry" is the code name of Honor 4X. I don't know why your PC shows this…

I posted something today on p8lite questions etc, I managed to overclock gputhe hardest thing, but I didn't looked after CPU... I found some gpu/cpu values, but I'm not sure if they are right You can check it!
