needing help
i rooted my zte z831 chapel with kingroot then i ran super sume pro to remove king root and king super user and it said success then rebooted and now just hangs up on the att logo

i think u bricked ur phone since we dont have access to bootloader to unlock or flash images and no custom recovery. i think ur phone might be a paper wieght. cause we also dont have a full restore zip for the os if we did reg recovery wouldnt flash it cause the system was modified and wouldnt pass the block verify. maybe someone can help but i dont see how anyone can atm. sorry

Oh I'm sure I did brick it. It's not that big of a deal it's a $40 phone I had found. I don't much experience with Zte so it's was more of a toy. Thanks for the information

Unbrick with webroot. Worked on a cheap Nokia lumia 530 I bricked.

[Q] Help a noob

Hi guys, Im here cause I screwed up lol.
Im really hoping someone can kindly help me out.
I have rooted and unlocked my phone, and used a few apps to do it. Its been a while but I think I unlocked it with an app called kingroot,
and rooted with a different app called kingoroot (slight variation in the spelling), anyways the root worked, but now I cant update my operating system, I tried to use the unroot feature on the kingoroot but everytime I try to install update for android it restarts the phone and i see recovery mode with chinese writing with the android logo in the background briefly , then phone restarts and update is not installed.. I tried doing a factory reset and when my phone goes into recovery mode its all chinese writing.. Im too much of a noob to know what the heck is going on.. I assume the kingoroot app flashed a chinese recovery or something? not sure of the lingo so Im sorry. Please tell me how I can fix the chinese recovery mode and update my phone operating system. I would still like to have my phone rooted for an app I like to use after im all updated. if possible.
I am using HTC one m7 from Rogers (Canada)
Any help is greatly appreciated, keeping mind Im a technological idiot so please keep it as simple as you can
sorry I posted this in wrong section. Please delete

Phone won't boot after updating SuperSU

I need help immediately cause I am paniking. So I rooted my phone using the KingRoot application, and after the root was succesful used SuperSu-Me to remove KingRoot. SuperSu-Me installed SuperSU on my device which in turn had to install an update, so I let it do its thing. After the update was installed SuperSU prompted me to reboot my phone so i did. Problem is the phone has been stuck for about half an hour in the shifting shapes screen, fastboot doesn't work. I have tried hard reseting it but the problem persists.

My solution
I fixed it by unlocking the bootloader in fastboot mode, flashing TWRP and using it to flash the original version of the oxygen os, the one that came preloaded with the phone.

Help me pleaaase (( My phone is very important to me. I've been searching for forums and I only found yours that had the same problem with me. By now it's about 1hr just stuck in there ( please help me im begging you!

Thank you for replying. I'm sorry I don't know what a recovery is. My phone is Starmobile Knight luxe lollipop 5.1 . Help I cant afford to buy a new one What would I do in this situation . I'm thinking of removing the battery then putting back it again. It won't even turn off just stucked on the logo.

First, please don't follow instructions you're finding on this specific forum since it's for the OnePlus X, not the Starmobile. Secondly you needed to unlock your bootloader first, since you didn't from the sounds of it you can't boot into Android since it's now tampered. You'll need to boot into recovery, usually by pressing Power + Volume Down until it loads and factory reset your device.

Try to find out your solution in your device's forums, since this forums is for the OnePlus X and not the Starmobile Knight Luxe.
If your device is stuck on the bootup screen, you need to go to fastboot mode, unlock the bootloader (if you haven't), flash a custom recovery, boot into the recovery, and factory reset the device. It should work.
Guys!!! Thank you for all your suggestions. I did flash a custom recovery but it fails simultaneously. I just let it fix on a local phone repair shop just paid a few bucks

Need help getting an Alcatel Stock Rom

Hi
Yesterday I rooted my phone using mobilego it's an UK Alcatel Pixi 4 6" 4G, everything went fine and finished rooting, I loaded SuperSU and it asked to update binaries. I clicked normal and it asked me about my king root and asked to uninstall it so I clicked yes. everything went through fine and asked to reboot. on reboot my phone just loads to the Alcatel logo and stays there so I'm assuming something went wrong somewhere and I now have a soft brick. I'm guessing I need a stock rom for my phone to get my phone working again.
I've gone through all the Alcatel websites that pop up on Google and all I have found is a stock rom for the 3g version of my phone.
does anyone know how to get my stock rom? or how to unsoft brick my phone please

hi Daniele00 try download this package this is mobile updater for alcatel devices. download tool wait for end installation and connect your phone off with the pc .if mobile upgrade recognized phone will be flashed new firmware.you have guide inside tool.remember process is long so drink few beer and relax.i hope this will help you. i cant post links but go to alcatel official site and search tool mobile upgrade..alcatel-mobile.com
Thank you for the reply, I have been to the Alcatel website and in the software upgrade section my phone is not listed unfortunately the area no support for any Pixi 4 variant on the website, it's so frustrating. just an idea I had though, my partner has exactly the same phone as me, if he was to factory reset is there any way I can get it from his phone and some how install on mine?

Your partner has the exact same phone you say? Then I think it's possible to make a backup of that device and then flash it to yours.

It's the system partition that got corrupted, you can probably just use fastboot to flash the system.img of the other device that you have.
question, my phone being soft bricked and won't go past the logo screen, if I sent to repair centre will they somehow know the phone was rooted or can't they cause the phone won't boot.?

If you don't tell them the phone was rooted then I don't think they would know. They should be able to get the phone working again.
Wouldn't it be easier to just make a backup of a working phone and then flash that?
