Arise, ViPER Audio and so on allows. Do a search.

Can I have the links
How can I have the links and how can I install them?
Thank you

I wonder if someone could port this to OPX

How exactly do they allow you to? I have them installed but no options to do so?

You want to use both speaker and headset at the same time ?
I saw somewhere that a Custom ROM could do that.
I don't remember whixh one... RR ou DU maybe.

So, has anyone found a way to do this? I found a mod like this for OPO but nothing for OPX. Doesn't sound too impossible

I've found something
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/mod-dual-speaker-soundmod-devices-root-t3735280
Haven't checked, I am on Oreo

I tried it around 3 times but I failed. This dual speaker mod doesn't worked for OPX. I tried it on nougat but never tried it on stock or Oreo rom. Fortunately I shifted to stock rom yesterday and will try it asap and report back.

Because you have to send the listed files to the dev and it will work after he adapts the MOD.
How to Request the MOD (Please Cooperate with me):
In one Post,
Mention your device specs (Name, Model Number, Android and processor - EX: Samsung Galaxy Note 8, SM-N950F, Nougat 7.1.1, Exynos )...
People Please ANDROID VERSION IS VERY IMPORTANT, I can't make TWRP or MAGISK without it...
Compress all of your Mixers inside (system/etc) for Nougat, (system/vendor/etc) for Oreo, any file starting with word *mixer*.xml, name the file with Mixers-(*device model number*)-AndroidVersion (Ex: Mixers-SM-N950F-Oreo) & upload it...
Also, People Please try to name the compressed archive with your device name & android version, because of many requests, mixers are being mixed up and I have to go back to the thread verify which belongs to who, please cooperate...
OK, lately I have been forgetting who requested the MOD, Would you please also write your name in file name, so I could search the thread for you...

Hey guys, I managed to port this to Oreo (working on Lineage OS 15.1). You can adjust the volume of the earpiece by changing the value "<ctl name="RX1 Digital Volume" value="105" />" on line 1001. Be sure to backup your mixer_paths.xml and just to be sure, I also limited the max volume in V4A.
Start testing at a low volume, so you don't accidentaly blow up your earpiece
note: I wouldn't change it above 110. Default was 84

is there any mod to enable call recording in stock rom?
my rom:
Android 4.1.2 - Poland
PDA:I9300XXELKC
CSC:I9300OXXELK4
Kernel:siyah v1.8.6
please help me , I'm a beginner.
Download a custom ROM
Hi!
I´ve never heard about a modification for S3 targeted specifically towards call recording.
If you want to do call recording i only know of one way to do this. Sadly though it isn´t free. Here goes:
On Google Play there is an app called "Call Recorder Galaxy S2 & S3". There´s a link for the trial version here.
Please note the reviews of the full paid app aren´t all positive so the trial version for initial testing could be a good idea, allthough for me the full app runs flawlessly.
In the latest iteration this app needs root so if you aren´t rooted and don´t want to root it will not work.
Fortunately root is easily obtained and i can only recommend it as there are so many other things possible with it.
Look here for rooting instructions.
Regards & happy new year.
Elo
if you could decompile secphone.apk (with wanam instruction) please share it with me to replace it with my secphone.apk
Free app here to record calls but sound quality isn't the best.

Thanks everyone for answers , but i do not want a app to call record
I want add this feature to my rom (like decompile secphone.apk)

Then why don't you find a ROM with call recording features? A lot of them have the feature so it's not hard to find
Install the Xposed framework and Tweakbox and you can enable it in there without having to replace any APKs or lose the odexing of your stock, original ROM.

That happens when the phone is starting up and your files are still scanning (if your uptime is quite high, OTOH, you should probably check to see if MediaScannerService isn't going crazy with your files). It's a Samsung bug/feature. Since Tweakbox enables the original audio recording function in SecPhone, you're gonna see it even if you modify SecPhone directly. In Xposed, someone can bypass the check by replacing the method checkMediaScannerRunning() with one that returns Boolean.FALSE, but I haven't really looked to see if it would break anything
It has low quality too!
I think that it's better to install a foxhound rom!
I had it but return to this stock rom!
because every one or two weak it has a new update and made me sadly! (my connection is too slow! my download speed at most is:50 kbps!!!)

XA ultra F3211 custom rom

Hi guys, I've found a custom rom that seems to work for our XA ultra. I'm using an other phones rom as base.
I don't want to steal someone elses credits and/or work.
I haven't spoken with the author and I'm not aware of all the rules. I fell of the motorcycle when a dog tried to attack me so my hands(palms) are wounded. Feel free to help me on this journey. Finally no more sickening bloated sony rom.
Kernel used: https://forum.xda-developers.com/xa-ultra/development/f32xx-stock-kernel-built-sources-t3639725
System image ROM: AOSP? 7.0 Need to contact author first.
Bugs:
- Battery shows as 1%
- No sound from speaker, MIC works
- Settings System app crashes when opening about phone
- Camera with weird blueish greenish hue/tint
- Share image upload doesn't show file browser
What's working:
- Touchscreen
- Keyboard
- WIFI
- Camera front and rear
- Auto rotate
- SD card
- Vibrations

No clue I contacted the author of the rom if it is okay to link his rom in this thread, will ask him if he replies. Not sure if it is an aosp or 7.0 modified to look like one.
I'm just happy we found a non sony rom to work as expected with our phone with minor issues. I did not port the rom just flashed system.img and it seemed to work. No major crashes overheating or anything like that. I know we can replace some files like camera libs so charger to get stuff working properly and maybe fix the settings crash when trying to open about phone with logcat? I know most fixes are listed in porting guide topics so hopefully it will be a piece of cake.
I prefer slim roms over any sony roms. TBH i debloated stock 6.0 rom but the phone was overheating and minor issues so I tried some other roms, i removed the backplate of my phone so I can test and remove thr battery cable to quickly reboot when it's stuck or looping. I have no problem with it since my screen broke I also took twrp backups incase it's needed. The sony threads are just too empty

As said by @Tahsin88 he have forwarded sources code links to me, very big thanks to him :good:. Until now I worked with Elephone P9000 sources code as base and it was good on Marshmallow but for Nougat it uses a lot of files from MM and it's not good. New sources are even better to build Nougat based roms, I have to port them to XA and start building. It will takes some time but it's on the good way

I worked on dt2w P9000 is not good because needed files are already compiled, I need original .c and .h but they are already compiled in .o so it's like some already chewed food and I can't port the patch from it. I tried with an other patch but it doesn't work because some kernel definitions are different in the code and I'm not good enough to correct this. I think that if I can find the same thing in a 3.18 kernel it will works.
Good news for you, all this work and rom building are made on a F3211 device Now I have this one and a F3112 (XA), I work on it because the XA Ultra community thanked me more than the XA community for my work on Nougat so for me it's normal to work on XAU first and later on XA

So, I guess it will be harder to succeed. Anyway it's not the end of the world, we may not have dt2w but we will have a working custom rom which is better

Beat Audio Engine for PIe Rom

Friends , Our Kenzo has already got Pie custom roms some of these are official and some are unofficial . I have seen lots of comment about audio mods available for android pie on xda forum . As Dolby Atmos port is not available so we need to wait some time to get it. Mean while I want to share Beat Audio Engine for Kenzo that works fine on android Pie.
Actually this a Beat Audio Port for Asus Zenfone 5 which runs on kitkat/ Lolipop. Zenfone 5 was my old device so I kept this audio mod on my hard drive . Today I flash it through adb on my redmi note 3 and lucky it is working super fine. So It should also work on your device . Try it till Dolby for Pie comes into existence . ( I am not responsible for anything wrong with your device )
Just download the attachment and extract it . Then connect your device to pc with usb debugging . Just run the installer inside the extracted folder. It will ask for root access. Grant the root access and wait for the process to finish . It will reboot the device automatically. done : BEAT Audio on your kenzo.
screenshots
thanks this is the the best audio mod of its time and i would love it to use on pie
Why dont you make a flashable zip ?
Dolby and viper4 available for pie roms
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=1322778262903994372
Just turn on apt-x in developer options for bluetooth headphones and you will never ever think about any audio mods... (and using any jack headphones after having an apt-x capable bluetooth one)
trust me, I was a dolby fan and tried all of them
Hello , I tried installing this , any way how to uninstall this mod?
haha why is that?

XASP Support for Mi 9

Hello Folks,
I'm planning to support the Mi 9 with XASP and i just need the Camera Media Profiles Config File from a AOSP based ROM of Your Device. Could anyone pull it and upload it here for Me!?
Should be in /system/vendor/etc and/or /system/etc...
I'm also searching for a Maintainer for XASP. If someone is interested just PM Me and i'll share the Details with You (You just need to repack/upload from GitHub using a Windows PC or Android Phone once the Month)
Hi, you can find the dump of stock ROM here: https://github.com/TadiT7/xiaomi_cepheus_dump/
Not sure if it changes, but at the moment I'm running GSI AOSP so if you need a dump of the profiles I can upload this one too.

Looks like i have to use and edit all of them. Thinks i want to do are:
-4K Front Camera Video recording
-Higher default Picture Quality by less compression
-Higher default Mem Cap for Picture Processing
-Higher Bitrates for Audio and Video Profiles
-Higher default FPS Rates on Video Recording
And maybe more if i find something interesting... The Profile from Tadi is btw. a awesome Thing for Me. I always had to download full System for a few Files. That makes everything more easy. Thanks again for sharing!
As reading your requirements this will work with PHHs Treble AOSP 9.0 ROM ?
The project sounds interesting, also it mentions that it comes with Magisk, which Magisk Version is included?

PHH Treble AOSP 9 (Vanilla ARM64, NoSU) should be the best Choice
Magisk will come in Stable and Beta (18.1 and 19 right now). Does the Mi 9 has Orange Fox or at least TWRP with working AROMA Support? I have seen Problems with AROMA on the Mi 8 while the Poco F1 can flash the Patch fine (Same Specs and Systems can be used across them). I changed back to AROMA Installers since Magisk Modules are forcing restrictions to the Patch such as Device Security Enhancements and Setup Wizard edits. You can follow Me on GitHub to see what's actually going on.
BR
Can't wait for this! If there is anything I can do to help, let me know.

I think that it is caused by DRC.
In /vendor/etc/audio_policy_configuration.xml, there may be a line containing 'speaker_drc_enabled="true"'. Edit the line to replace "true" with "false" and reboot. Then, deep compression on the sound output will go away.
Note: 'speaker_drc _enabled' contains 'speaker', but it affects all audio output, e.g. internal speaker, 3.5mm jack wired, buetooth and USB DAC (even using a proprietary driver) earphones, etc.
