Hello to all my beloved developers of XDA. I am here with my request to please get a general procedure of porting lineage OS ROM for Snapdragon 210 processor installed on them it will be of great help and Snapdragon 210 is one of the most reliable and cheapest LTE processor that has created a storm in the below 5K market like India, Bangladesh, Argentina, etc.
Honestly speaking I own a l y f flame 8 model having Snapdragon 210 and lollipop install on board point so I request if somebody has developed anything like TWRP recovery for this model is also appreciated to submit his ideas or developed files in this thread
So is there anyone looking at the post interested to develop a ROM for our device, the suggestions are also welcomed
Since the commencement of this forum on XDA it is likely to see that the newer devices are the devices which are lacking a very good and good user base and having trouble time to find out the right developer for it but Snapdragon 210 is not a problem that needs to be explained it when you, as it is very popular chipset. Still I am surprised to see that even after so many days of opening the form I am not getting a single response from the people on XDA I am very disappointed about it

Hello,
I am a user of Wave 525 and we are working on a mod called Melior for it.Its first version is going to release within a week but I have a different plan for future.Seeing Galaxy Y running some crazy cool games,I thought if my Wave could also do such things.The problem is that our community doesn't have experts who can port android.My team contains some mid level devs and we are trying to port android but the problem is we don't know what we should do to begin with the project.
I want some experts to help and guide us in the way of porting android.We would really appreciate any type of help from this community..Wave 525's processor speed is unknown till now but it is expected to be around 350-500MHz,some sources claim 500 and some claim 312 etc.Its internal memory is 283MB.All the specs of the phone is more than many android devices like Spice MI270 etc.
Please help us in this project and guide us the way that we should follow..

IF ANY ONE IS INTERESTED I HAVE THE OPEN SOURCE FILE FOR THE LENOVO S650 MINI VIBE X , I HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE OF COMPILING ROMS FROM SOURCE BUT IF SOMEONE WANTS TO TRY I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE ANY EFFORTS.

Hi Dev.
I have used all my phones which have mediatek processor and that phones development is started immediate after their release .
now the thing is when i was using mediatek processor phone people said that snapdragon have more development than mediatek now nearly 1 month passed for zenfone 2 laser to release there is no sign for development nor root method so in my openion there is no limit for development even its mediatek or snapdragon there should be smart and well knowledge dev needed to develop a rom
So I just got this tablet as a cheap add on to my phone contract with EE in the UK. I've searched the internet and the XDA forums and can't find a specific place where any developers working on ROMs in the same way I have had with all of my Samsung phones in the past.
Is there any hope for something like linage 14.1 or just a stock 6.0 or 7.0 ROM for this tablet with TWRP?
I can see that it has a Snapdragon 615. Is there something about this that's hard to develop for or is it just that not many people have the tablet?

it's always been Snapdragon based devices that get all the attention from modders / developers / users .
but since MediaTek released Dimensity series , it's been all the hype and market share increased a lot due to SoC supply issues .
so my question is, will it ever a MediaTek Dimensity device get the required attention for developers + and will MediaTek change it's policy for releasing source code ?
and if so, which device you have in mind that are worth a shot .
appreciate inputs , and if you want me to create a poll , just ask
