BTC Flame Kids Stuck in a boot loop. - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Morning guys.
Hope someone can help. I've been driving myself crazy for a couple of days trying to reset my kids tablet. Its stuck in a boot loop and the usual power/vol+ or - doesn't load to recovery or safe mode. There is no pin hole for a reset that way. I have no access to laptop/pc.
I use a smasung tab4 running with a custom rom by emoboy just now (Ios8).
Please help if you can guys my wee man is 6 with autism and is heartbroken.
Thanks.

hold power for 10/20 seconds until it turns off.
hold up and power for upto 20 seconds to boot to recovery
or
hold down and power for upto 20 seconds to boot to recovery
This is 'generic chinese tablet' instructions unfortunately, but know its always more difficult than it needs to be
From recovery, dependant on model, there could be a 'wipe cache' and 'wipe dalvik' or last option, 'factory reset' to try to sort the boot-loop. If you werent trying to flash a rom/firmware/recovery these options should fix it. Do the first 2 wipes first.

Many thanks for Your reply Mr Mcplum. Appreciate it. I have tried the usual ways to enter into recovery with no joy. Perhaps its a timing issue on my end. I'll keep trying.
Thanks again.

Yeah, my kids' tablets, obviously, all f**ked up at some point. The bit that took the longest was getting to recoveries
And when you think you've cracked it, they decide that way wont work again

Not sure what else to try.
Is it possible it doesn't have recovery mode?
I've tried vol+/power vol-/power vol +&-/power and releasing them in all the various ways.
Its showing the btc splash screen then trying to boot into android with the logo showing and reverting back to the splash screen. I've tried releasing the buttons at different timings to no avail.
Maybe have to bite the bullet here and toss it back to china.
Poor wee fella is gutted.
Thanks again for your time buddy. Very helpful forum indeed. Every cloud I guess

If you can replace it under warranty then do that, if its 'broken' then see if you can open it and unclip the battery, see if you can reboot it that way.
It 'may' help, it may not. But only try this if you were going to get rid of it anyway.

I could rpl under warranty for sure. I was hoping for more of a quick fix for the wee man.
So I've tried rebooting it with everything disconnected that I can.
Looks like camera/digitizer and hd? The speaker and the battery are soldered (unfortunately I don't have a bolt or solder at hand). I've tried the same sequence of buttons with different components unplugged. Still sticks in the loop that its in.
Any more ideas are welcome buddy.

have you tried running the battery flat, and see if that makes any difference when rebooting?
obviously, after giving it some power after youve ran it flat

[q] usb debugging - no settings?

I have an AT&T Note that has locked me out (bought from ebay), and the VOLUME UP is broken so I can't get into recovery.
I feel like my only hope getting into the phone is "adb reboot recovery". The problem is I can't get into settings to check USB debugging
Is there anybody out there that knows if it is possible to disassemble a ROM and make changes so that instead of USB debugging being OFF by default, it is ON?
And if you know it's possible, does anybody know of anyone that could handle the task. Thanks a bunch guys:good:
Any other ideas are welcome, I think if I can get into recovery I can factory reset and get past the lock. Will this even work?
if your rooted, you can use titanium backup to get into recovery mode
He is locked out, can't get past the lockscreen. How will he install TiBU?
Since the volume button is broken, and possibly other things wrong, why not get a new mainboard?
Or send it to a JTAG service to force a new rom into the phone.
Sorry didn't see that, couldn't you just flash a stock rom with Odin, the volume down button works right?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
Ya I tried flashing a stock rom, it still doesn't get me past the lock screen. And this is a new logicboard already. What if there is a MOD or something that adds boot to recovery in the power menu? Then I could get into recovery. I would have to be able to flash it with odin though. I have 3 notes, one needs jtag, the good one I gave to my wife and this one I pulled from a note run over by a car haha. I would like to get this one going I can live without a volume button!
I think the next step is finding a way to get recovery on the power menu!
The new Novena J2 rom (stock ICS) has the four reboot options in the power menu. Go for that.
I think plan B would be to ask a developer to cook you a rom that has the lock screen removed completely.

A couple questions, Where can I find this rom you speak of, and is it flash-able with odin?
If this rom exists im set, thanks man. I've been looking but can't seem to find it.
Really?

[HELP!]I kinda broke my bootloader

OK, guys. I'm PANICING!!! Not really, I'm not but I was trying the new MIUI ROMs, I was all jolly and fun testing them out, messing up stuff, reinstalling'em and after I flashed the Official MIUI over the unofficial one something weird happened.
When I it boot my phone after the restart instead of the Red Moto Logo and the sign "Unlocked" it was all text. The sigh "Unlocked" was there, but instead of the Logo there was wall of text:
PwrReason: POWER_CUT
OS will boot in 5 seconds
Press a key to stop count down
Available Modes are:
1.RSD
2.Fastboot
3.NvFlash
4.BP HW Bypass RSD
5-14 etc. (The rest of the bootloader options)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Vol Up to select, Vol down for next
Curent choice in mod:
xxxxxxxxxxxx
So you get the point, I was like "yeah who cares... Moto logo, wall of text, same **** so I started the ROM, ofcourse it had that weird bug when I had to click 0.5cm lower than where the actual button was (some screen misscalibration, whatever) but then when I restarted my phone I couldn't access the android recovery, every time I hold down the button, select the android recovery and select it the bootloader restarts again and again.
So if someone has an idea what my cause this and how to fix it, please help. Tomorrow will provide pictures if needed, thanks in advance!
Cheers!

instead of this:
Flashed MIUI versions today and did not experiance that myself probally didnt follow the same steps however the screen gets unresponive to touches and button presses so i have to lock it and unlock it for it to work after a short time other than that the Roms fairly smooth Im probally gona have to flash something else though.
OK. Update on my case. I managed to reflash the recovery and I managed to boot it. Then I restore my CM10.1 from the backup I had, but now I still have this problem:
My screen is not calibrated, if I click somewhere on the screen it detects my click 1cm above the place I clicked and the worst part is that it detects my menu/home/back/search keys as a part of the screen so I can't use them now. When I click one of those keys it detects them as the bottom of my screen. Anyone has an idea of what's going on? I'm pretty sure it's software problem. ;(
OK. I fixed it (The screen calibration/4 bottom buttons not working). PHEW!!!
Here is how I fixed it.
1.Download http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?j1jtgo02q4q3a17
2. Fastboot your Atrix
3. Fastboot code:
* fastboot flash pds pdsfix.img
* fastboot reboot
All back to normal!

[Solved][Q]Bootloop because of SuperSU[Kyocera E6782][Thread Closed]

Solved by fastboot flash recovery.
Thread Closed
2015.12.13
Here is the thing. My phone is Kyocera Brigadier E6782 [Verizon], a very unpopular phone. Today morning, I downloaded SuperSu and it let me update the Binary or something like that.
Then I clicked the normal option, it fails. I clicked the cwm/twrp option afterwards, and it reboot. Plus it says it will enter recovery mode.
[Then it just made my day] +=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=
Before that, I was totally unaware of barely anything about Android Flash, so I unsurprisingly did not have any recovery mode in my phone.
[But now I know because I learned on this day, thanks to the bootloop!]
When the phone starts to reboot into recovery mode, it became bootloop, bricked, - softly I think.
What I mean here is that now my phone can't boot, my computer doesn't recognize it. Most importantly, I can't load fastboot and recovery mode simply because I don't have that ****.
What's more, I don't have a removable battery[rugged version], which lots of threads mentioned, is fairly important!
My only clue is that the phone will pop up a 1 sec image and flashes, BOOM, restarts again and again.
I have read nearly every helpful threads in the xda about how to solve the brick, bootloop problem today. It does make me learn a lot. I tried adb, fastboot and all I left is to get you guys help here. I know this morning I was panic, but I think this is clear regarding to everything it just happened today. I hope someone can really troubleshooting or point a solution for me. I will be giving my biggest appreciation to that!
Not afraid of explosion, I let the phone fully charged last night, in the meantime it was still endlessly rebooting. When I get up this morning, I press the power button and vol up, a green notification[shows fully charged signal] was on after the phone shuts down. I hope it was a premonition of being able to enter the fastboot mode. God bless me.
did you find a solution
i have the same problem now with mine but i found out how to access the operating system while its boot looping, just hold volume up and power keys until a dialouge pops up saying failed to start then release power then immediately press again. then when it vibrates this time release all keys. it will boot up. i need to fix this bootloop because i cant format my phone or access recovery enviroment. when i goto install supersu it say cant install.

Samsung Galaxy View Problem (I'm Mad)

Hi guys. I am having a problem. And I am about to go mad.
I have Galaxy View 18.4 " Wifi. I wiped the tablet with a slightly damp cloth in the morning. The power button not working.
the following warning is continuously displayed on the screen.

}
I changed it to factory settings. The problem hasn't improved. I made hard reset and wipe cache, the problem was not resolved.
What can i do ?
What does the warning say? Sorry I only speak English so I cant read it, but the warning looks like the regular power down pop up. Goes it say something else other than "Restart, Sleep, Power Off"?

So you think that wiping the tablet got water in the power button? And now you think it is stuck, causing that prompt to show up? What happens when you tap on "Restart Tablet"? Does the tablet restart? And if it does restart, does that prompt show up again?

Yes. When I turn it off, it reopens automatically. And show up again
your best bet would be to try a hard boot / reset from the recovery and wipe it clean.
if the loop continues on the new clean install, then at least you will know its hardware related.
Also be sure to check your SDCARD....this unit is very picky on what you place inside. I've had a few SD cards go bad and send this unit of the chaos but nothing a clean install couldn't fix.
factory reset via android recovery menu. good luck.

Phone bricked

Tried to flash an android 11 rom (was already on another android 11 custom rom), phone won't turn on now, only black screen. Holding power button + volume keys will only make the device restart(it disappears and reappears in device manager), so i cant get into fastboot. ADB devices and Fastboot devices won't detect it. In device manager it appears as Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008.

Tried flashing stock rom in mi flash tool, it either says cannot receive hello packet, or cannot read from port com3.
Now i don't have a phone, so if anyone can try to fix this please help.
Same here. but mine won't even restart, the display is pure black & no vibrations are happening no matter what combination of buttons I'm doing,
Also- I don't even get to the flashing part on the Mi Flash tool. I keep on getting a `Input string was not in the correct format`. Altought I'm using the same dir name & also tried the same version of the Flash Tool as a tutorial I had seen on youtube.
Update: managed to fix it using this guide: https://docs.google.com/document/u/0/d/1CbIhdB14-kVzTulNpKBJjB1-R4y1hD3AlGZ5nGlkgik/mobilebasic
Only difference i had to do, that after each download i had to long press power button on the phone until the download button disappeared in QFIL, and after it reappeared i had to press it instantly otherwise it would give an error.

Thank you so much.
Turns out that the `Sahara failed` error I had mentioned up above, was because I didn't long press the phone as you mentioned after every Download.
TO THE READERS:
I had to disconnect the battery for these downloads. When the battery was connected I kept on getting these weird `Sahara` errors.
In addition to that, As @gergmt mentioned, I had to disconnect and connect the USB after each download. Or else, the `Sahara` errors would've attacked as well.
I had also long pressed the power button & volume up upon each time I had connected the phone to my computer, but I do not know if that step is also necessary.
Best regards and best of luck to you all!
P.S: Now I just need to figure out why I'm getting into a bootloop of the Android One screen (Had just flahsed SHRP & Bliss' ROM)
