Original Roms for X829 and X820 (is it possible to change the model ?) - LeEco Le Max 2 ROMs, Kernels, Recoveries, & Other

Hi guys,
I came across these ROMs in the Geekbuying blog:
http://www.mediafire.com/file/6swcp...gon_820_Smartphone_Firmware_205095_160606.rar
http://www.mediafire.com/file/45kc1....0_OS_4GB_32GB_Smartphone_Firmware_160714.rar
http://www.mediafire.com/file/uwtg4...th_adding_language_software_-5.8.016S-6.0.zip
the flash seems to be with fastboot (according to the script). the one of the X829 seems to have missing partitions like DDR. The ones for the X820 are complete. I was wondering if it is possible to flash the X820 original Rom for the X829 using fast boot since these files have all the required partitions. ..

Both models are compatible in roms, this have been discussed many times.. and you don't need to flash those ****ty roms, they are outdated 16S, current oficial ROM is 23S

I am bringing this every time because every time I find new ways to flash. Besides this ways doesn't require root, or a custom recovery. It just needs fastboot ( adb reboot bootloader).

It's pretty easy to get TWRP installed on this phone, anyway you have the cuoco92 ROM (https://m.facebook.com/cuoco92/) v80, 23S based, which can be flashed though fastboot. https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=136823

CM13 to Xiaomi.eu MIUI8 [firmware needed]

Hi.
I want to go to MIUI8. I was at CM13.
But as soon as I installed MIUI8, I got the same old bootscreen logo from CM, and then the usual MI boot screen.
I think I need the firmware from MIUI versions. Where can I get it? Didnt find it after some search
Thanks!

You don't have to flash the fastboot rom. Just flash official recovery rom before flashing xiaomi.eu rom.
Hi.
Thank you for the replies.
O installed full rom in fastboot
Everything working now.
Thanks.

Did u flash the fastboot rom or recovery rom?
And did u have to re unlock the bootloader after flashing mi rom?
Hi. As I said, I flashed miui fastboot version. And yes, I had to re-unlock it (oficial)

A thread in xda suggested an easier method.
Just flashing the recovery rom and then booting to fastboot and unlocking the phone, gets it working

Le max 2 factory reset in order to be able to update eui rom

I am using the Le Max 2 in the U. S. and it doesn't have any system update button in settings. When I download official rom 5.9.021, rename it update.zip and open it in file manager to update, it goes into recovery mode, starts to extract., but stops after 45 seconds and says that file is corrupt.
If I do a factory reset, what will I lose in the function for 4G lte in the U. S.? Will I then be able to upgrade with the official rom? I have already backed up all of apps to another storage device. Love the phone, but it would be nice to be able to update it.
Anyone help will be well appreciated. Thanks.
If you have the vendor rom 5.9.016, the only way to update is flashing first twrp as recovery. Then you can install any rom you want, stock or custom.

Do you mean 5.8.016? I have this version and I don't see any update option
There isn't. You need to update using the guide that is in the guides subforum.

Help - Installing MIUI by TWRP

Everyone, good morning!
I was using MIUI 8.2.10 Global Stable on Redmi Note 4X (4Gb and 64Gb).
I unlocked Bootloader
I installed TWRP 3.1.1-0
But the system did not start, it gets stuck in the "Mi" logo.
I had on the card the ".zip" file from MIUI 8.2.10 Global Stable, I made Full wipe and installed MIUI by TWRP. Even then the system does not start ...
What can it be?
Why did not I start the MIUI system after I installed TWRP?
Can not install MIUI by TWRP?
I'd rather install using TWRP than Miflash tools, as I think it's safer.
Either flash SuperSU or flash the zip for disabling dm-verity after flashing the ROM else the ROM won't boot

Search for lazy flasher

Very Thanks
thank you so much! As I already installed a custom, I will wait for MIUI 9 to leave to install. Thankfully it is possible to install by TWRP. In the case after installing the ROM, I install Root or this file Lazy disabling dm-verity, that is not need to be the two, right?

Lazy flasher is necessary to Boot a MIUI ROM after Installation of a custom recovery such AS TWRP.
For a custom ROM you don't need lazy flasher.
