VS990 (Verizon V10) 27A Full KDZ Download (AFH) + NEW DLL File - Verizon LG V10

Hello Verizon V10 Community,
I was able to locate the full KDZ file for the Verizon V10 software version 27A, the latest available for the VS990.
You can download it from HERE!
>> UPDATE!! PLEASE READ!! NEW DLL FILE REQUIRED TO FLASH!! <<
Like other recent KDZs from LG, you have to use LGUP to flash this. HOWEVER, you need to update the DLL file that LGUP uses to flash this KDZ. To do this, go HERE and download the 7z archive. Inside you'll find a dll file, LGUP_Common.dll. Place that DLL file in C:\Program Files (x86)\LG Electronics\LGUP\model\common. Just as a precaution, change the extension of the existing LGUP_Common.dll to .bak or something in case this doesn't work for you. After you put the new DLL file in that folder, open LGUP and in the very lower left hand corner of the window, you should see DLL Version 1.0.28.17.
This is the first time I've come across this issue where I had to update the DLL in order for LGUP to flash the KDZ. Therefore, in the future, when I post links for updated KDZ files for the VS990, I will include the latest DLL file along with the KDZ in the archive.
Enjoy! If anyone has any questions, feel free to hit me up!

Hi, thanks for the files, I always wait for them and use them. However, this time LGUP gives me an error. Can you confirm that the md5 of the unpacked file is 9b59ac2e24b5e5afcbbd0ff35f8665ac?

Yeah I can check when I get home from work this evening and ill let you know.

@xdabobobobo I compared your checksum to mine and they are identical. However I tried flashing this KDZ on my phone and LGUP crashed before it even started flashing so the error you're getting probably isn't checksum related but rather an issue with the version of the DLL file LGUP is using. However I found a solution that worked for me. Go here https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=529152257862720559 and download the 7z archive. Inside you'll find a dll file, LGUP_Common.dll. Place that DLL file in C:\Program Files (x86)\LG Electronics\LGUP\model\common. You may rename the existing LGUP_Common.dll to .bak or something in case this doesn't work. After you put the new DLL file in that folder, open LGUP and in the very lower left hand corner of the window, you should see DLL Version 1.0.28.17. From here, try flashing the KDZ.

Thanks, I confirm that your method has worked. It was the dll indeed, not the kdz.

I USED LGUP WITH NEW DLL TO GO TO 27A MM BUT I WAS ON THE ROOTED .TOT FILE SO NOW I SEEM TO BE STUCK ON THE NEW VERIZON LOGO SCREEN FOREVER. BEINGS WE CAN NOT ROLL BACK, IS THIS A BRICK? I THINK THIS IS WHAT I DID WRONG. :crying:

Anybody know what I can do as stuck on the newer Verizon screen as I was on the rooted .kdz or .tot from lollipop with exposed and used LGUP to put the new .kdz 27a marshmallow on there, now I am stuck at Verizon screen and have no phone.
If I toy with LGUP enough it does recognize the phone still but it will not pass the new verizon screen! ugh..

Hi, thanks for the upload. Ive been getting an error when trying to update it says i cant use the refurbished option. When i tried with upgrade I was able to update but i needed to do a clean install. Any idea what may be wrong?
Thanks

So I got the 27A update to finally work, only problem I have now is when the phone boots afterwards, it shows the android icon with "Erasing..." under it, then reboots and now looping the verizon intro.
Help please?

LG | Cross Firmware Flashing/Downgrading | Error 1002 | 4% Update Fail FIX

This post may be helpful for:
1. People that are trying to downgrade from firmware they flashed.
2. People who accidentally flashed wrong firmware and now they want to flash the correct one.
3. People who generally want to flash a firmware using the KDZ Updater,
AND
Cannot do the things above because the KDZ Update tool shows the "Error 1002" or the update tool stops at 4%.
P.S. 1: I have tried that on Optimus L5 and L9 when I had same problem and it works. Some users also told me it works on L7 too.
P.S. 2: I don't know if it will work for EVERY phone, I'm just saying it worked on mine. Maybe I'm lucky! But if you tried everything and nothing worked, maybe you could also give this a try.
P.S. 3. YOU MUST HAVE A WORKING FIRMWARE(a firmware that can get installed-doesn't matter if it's the right one).

Solution
First time I did this was with an Optimus L5 - E615.
In my case, there was only one firmware that worked and got installed with the KDZ Updater tool.(The v20b-for L5 E610 - Europe) which was not for my model and I flashed accidentally. Nothing else worked, no matter which firmwares (From LG site) i tried, compatible or not.
I only managed to fix that when I downloaded the firmware i wanted to install, and "tricked" the PC into, thinking that it installed the 20b.
I don't know if that issue happened only to me only, but IF someone has the same problem another time, it will maybe work for him too. Or maybe it will be possible solution to everyone flashing a wrong Firmware..!
The thing is , I noticed that the KDZ Updater, everytime it wanted to install a KDZ, it extracted it as a .DZ file at the "LGMOBILEAX" folder located in C/appdata folder.
In L9 it's .WDB instead of .DZ files. So I'm changing it to WDB for the solution
To fix the "Lparam 1002 Error"(Stop on 4% of update tool or crash error in KDZ updater ) do the following steps:
1. Install correct drivers from LG mobile tool to be sure my phone was recognized.
2. Move battery out(Optional, by I prefer it if it's possible).
3. Enter Emergency Download Mode(By pressing the Volume-Down button while connecting the phone with the PC).
4. Extract the -workingfirmware.kdz and the firmwareyouwant.kdz with the Rom Converter Tool made by jes0411 (Original Post HERE), and rename the extracted firmwareyouwant.wdb same as workingfirmware.wdb
5. Start the KDZ update, choosing the workingfirmware.kdz, and when the workingfirmware.wdb file is extracted, replace it immediately with the (now renamed as "workingfirmware.dz") firmwareyouwant.dz
EDIT: If you are too scared of replacing files during the procedure, just wait until the update stops and asks you to restart. You can replace them then.
Wierd issue from LG, but it worked for me!
Cheers.
Thank You!! It works!
I can confim it works with LG L7 (P700/P705) too.
L9 does not have any file extracted with e610v20.dz name or any file with .DZ extension. Are you sure this is somewhere related to L9 by any chance?

Check P.S.1 and what I wrote below mate
Every LG firmware (.kdz files) is extracted as a .dz file during Firmware installation via LG update tool or KDZ updater.
About the e615 files, it's because I had this issue on a friend's L5-E615, but I'm also posting here because I've tested this on L9 too and it's working if you have this issue. From pms and posts I got, it seems that this works on most lg devices(L3,L5,L7,L9). I just posted here because I own a P760.. I'm just trying to contribute to the L9 community..!
EDIT: Cmahendra was right, the file extensions in L9 is .wdb. My bad, nevertheless the solution is the same...!
Cheers,

D802 .tot/.dz file anyone? :(

Hey guys, ive searched the whole day now and have a serious problem with my LG G2 D802 variant..
I tried to flash Paranoid Android 4.0 with TWRP and there was a never ending boot animation, after that I tried to do a factory reset with the LG Flash tool wich stops at 49%.
Now I'm trying to unbrick it with this tutorial but I can't find the .tot file for the D802.
http://optimusforums.com/threads/guide-complete-guide-to-unbrick-your-soft-bricked-g2-f320.9232/
The thing is, I have extracted the .kdz and it outputs a .dz and a .dll when I'm trying to start the flash progress, there is a popup wich says "Failed PriviousLoad()... :/
Could someone please help me out?
Sidenote: I have access to TWRP but sideload wont work(?) adb lists no devices....

hi i have LG G2 D802 16gb
last week i flashed kitkat rom, but since most of G2 specific apps are lost, i didnot like it and i want to get back to stock.
i get "stuck at %49 error", "page error", "wparam error", ("whatever you call error") all the time while trying to flash d802 stock rom with "R&D tool", i tried on Win8, WinXP..
I changed the USB com port to 4, to 41.. nothing Worked!!!
and at last!..
I ve found a solution...
here it is...
i found the python script, called "KDZFileTools.py" written by someone (called thecubed) in this forum.
thanks him alot!!! and here is the link;
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2483250
to make python script file run in Windows go to http://www.python.org and download python 2.7 (NOT 3.x) and install it..
then put .py script file, .kdz file into "c:\python27\" folder (this folder is created default when you install python)
and in command promt type;
python KDZFileTools.py -f D80210B_00.kdz -x
this commands extracts the required .DLL file from .KDZ file, to "c:\python27\kdzextracted" folder, the extracted.dz file is NOT necessary for this tutorial.
and i found a tot file from this link, http://downloads.codefi.re/autoprime/LG/LG_G2/D802/Stock_Firmware
the one with date: SEP. 7, 2013
i used these two files (DLL i extracted from kdz and tot file) with LG Flashtool v.1.5, you can find it here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2475045
if you fallow the steps explained here,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2475045
with the DLL (extracted from your phones .KDZ file)
and
.tot file given above
YOU WILL GET STOCK ROM BACK!! i did these and get mine back!!
warning that I'm not responsible for you messing with your phone
hope this helps..
please inform me if you succeed.
.tot file for D80210e_EUR_XX
Are any of .tot files from link above compatible with phone running stock d80210e_eur_xx, so 32Gb version? Or can I just use the one which is for 32Gb version (using .dll from d80210e_eur_xx.kdz and .tot from d80210b_sea_xx) and then use .kdz method with d80210e_eur_xx.kdz to get my carriers official ROM? Thank you in advance!
Worked perfectly

Thanks man, I had some problems with the LG UpTestEX software, and your method worked perfectly !
I made a successful downgrade with a D802 (4.4.2 Vodaphone to 4.2.2 JDQ39B) :victory:
When all else failed... this worked.
With correct dll and tot files... this worked a treat.
Thanks for all the work guys

Thanks for the reply. So should i extract the DLL from the stock KDZ and the flash the 32gb TOT from that link? Are you sure it won't mess things up more?
I badly want to fix this issue or else i would have to pay a hefty amount to my friend. I just want to be sure i dont render it completely dead.
By the way, are those TOTs carrier specific?

VS990 (Verizon V10) 11B Full KDZ, LGUP & Working DLL Download

Hello Verizon V10 Community,
I was able to locate the full KDZ file for the Verizon V10 software version 11B, the latest available for the VS990. I personally have the V10 and it's already on 11B but I have a friend who just received his V10 in the mail today and it had 10B on it so I plugged his into my computer and the Verizon Upgrade Assistant downloaded the 11B KDZ. I have saved it, uploaded it and am making it available anyone who may need it.
You can download it from Android File Host here in a RAR archive: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24438995911975083
Alternatively, you can download it directly from LG's servers here: http://csmgdl.lgmobile.com/dn/downloader.dev?fileKey=FW25NOE3325BACQF4BA4K6T/VS99011B_04_ARB00.kdz
MD5 of KDZ file when downloaded from AFH (NOT the rar file): 7f971f72b81945ad1f06df56300b6bae
You will need to use LGUP to flash this KDZ, which you can download from here: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24459283995297690. After you have installed LGUP, you will need to extract the 'common' folder from the LGUP rar archive and put it in: C:\Program Files (x86)\LG Electronics\LGUP\model. (See attached screenshot) This 'common' folder contains the DLL file that is needed for LGUP to recognize the Verizon variant of the V10. There are other downloads of LGUP in other forums here in XDA which contain other installers in addition to the LGUP installer. The other installers install DLL files for other variants of the V10 which are not needed for the Verizon variant. The DLL I've included in the 'common' folder is all you need for our Verizon variant.
Enjoy

The KDZ by itself is 2.2 GB. I'll have the link ready later today as my FTP upload to AFH that I had running this morning failed and I have to start over. :-\
Thank you brother downloading now.

I've not yet tried flashing this KDZ but I'm going to assume we can use the LGFlashTool to flash this as the cool new LGUP program that has appeared recently in the G4 forums does not work with the V10. I tried it and the program won't even open when my V10 is attached to my computer. I'm guessing it needs a DLL file installed to work. If anyone knows where I can find one, please let me know.
I assure you this is not a fake. This is a genuine KDZ file downloaded directly from Verizon Upgrade Assistant. If anyone here decides to flash it, please let me know what program you used and the outcome of the process.

I'm not sure what version I tried but I had many different versions of the software but didn't want to run into a bricked phone and didn't have much time to spend on trying and failing with personal things going on.
LGUP isn't recognizing the KDZ file. It sees the TOT however. Any way to fix this?
EDIT: Just had to choose the Update radial instead of Refurbish.
I believe upgrade is tot only and refurbish is kdz and tot. Or vice versa.
We just got our upgrade to marshmallow is going to be possible to obtain root for it?

Just going to throw this out there. No matter what KDZ file I download, I can't get passed the Google Account setup. There's data on that file that prevents the phone from going forward and constantly loops back to the beginning of entering the Google Account previously associated with the phone before the factory reset.

Anything?
You are using LGUP with the provided DLL in the thread i suppose? Did you follow steps exactly including copying the dll in the common folder?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-v10/general/guide-lg-v10-stock-firmware-to-stock-t3224170
Download LGUP from HERE
Install the file with the DLL name in them first and then LGUP_Install_Ver_1_14_3 Then copy the folder "common" to C:\Program Files (x86)\LG Electronics\LGUP\model (this should resolve unknown error)
Make sure you have downloaded the required KDZ file MM or LP
Open LGUP on your computer "make sure your phone is plugged in"
Also which variant you have and which KDZ you try?

Yes I followed all steps and even what you advised still didn't work. Ended up flashing the rooted tot file I already had but now my imei is gone . What can I do? My imei on Verizon was bad so I just want to restore the BAD one (not change it for illegal reasons) so I can at least have it working on Straight talk again.

Good morning, I am trying to flash with LG Flashtools a V10 h900 which harvested the image 90021j.TOT. To make a clean installation, since LP update and I have many errors with my current version (90021w). But it asks me for a file: DLL which I can not get anywhere. Will someone have it?
Also try to flash the ROM via LGUP, but when you reach 4% it pulls AtCmd Tx Rx error.
I'd appreciate your help
