[hide]Always Have a full functional Backup. Just in case!
First time installing crDroid, or coming from another ROM:
- Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (CWM or TWRP)
- Copy GApps and crDroid zip to your internal/sd card
- Boot into Recovery
- Wipe system,data and cache
- Flash crDroid zip
- Flash GApps zip
- DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET
- Reboot
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
- Copy crDroid ZIP to your internal SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Wipe system and cache
- Flash crDroid zip
- Flash Gapps
- Reboot[hide]
Don't expect any support if you:
- are not running stock crDroid-kernel
- have installed any mods such as Xposed!
- have modified system files

I will try to update it twice a week
ROM is heating badly:crying:abt 45 degrees all the time and battery drains in seconds. Please help anyone facing this issue???

Beans gapps gives error in checking update.....as this ROM has signature spoofing micro G is the best option ...

Seems a great Rom. You are using CM as base right? Sadly CM gives me high Android System bettery drainage and "only" 4-5 hrs ost, on AOSP omni i can reach 5-6.

Is this compatible with SuperSu? i'm trying to narrow down whats causing me to get stuck at the lock screen, its either me changing the dpi or installing supersu and udating in recovery.

Rom and device trees based on CM
Thanks for this. Update the OP to say "may be at void," as OP will cover a device that has issues that the user can prove they aren't at fault for. So essentially flashing a ROM doesn't void warranty however over clocking for does

I'm sorry to ask this but I didn't get it. Under what's not working you've written "you tell me". I didn't get what you meant by this. Do you mean that you've tested and till now you find everything working. Or you mean that there are bugs and you need us to test it and report?
EDIT: Will we need the marshmallow recovery to flash the rom or blu spark recovery will do?
new ROM and with new tree, that's interesting. GPS had been the biggest issue on other marshmallow ROMs. But it is neither mentioned in working or not working. anywat thanks to developer.

Well, I flashed with twrp and it was successful. but ROM did not boot. Tried with and without gapps. Same result.

I don't mean to sound rude but It seems like the instructions here is a replica of the same from OP's Moto G tread. Please provide proper instructions and what's working and whatnot instead of a copy and paste job. I know it free and out of good will which is greatly appriciated but a detailed installation at the very least

Backup: go to custom recovery and create a backup of your current ROM
Wipe /system, /data, /cache, dalvik cache
Install ROM+GApps
Restart your phone

Right after I install the rom and the gapps package, I go into the setup wizard, my phone gets stucked in the part where it says "Looking for updates", right after i setup the wifi.
I've tried various gapps packages but still have the same problem

Could you please try to flash the ROM + an older GApps package?
This issue exists on NexusOS as well, but not all users are affected.

Same problem for me. Tried 14, 18 and 24 July gapps, but no luck. Frustrated
I'm having the error while trying to login google node: Unable to establish a trusted connection with the server.
Help!
Same problem.
In setup wizard stuck on checking updates. I disconnect from wi-fi and finish wizard setup. bud google play say Unable to establish a trusted connection with the server

If this fix doesn't work, please uninstall Magisk via Magisk Manager app and retry to setup the Google account.
not working. my host file is clean. I follow instructions reboot phone but not work. I try flash gapps from june but not work.

I flash RR 7.1.2 and latest gapps and all works.

I don't know if you've fixed this but on my RR and LineageOS. No such issues are present.
This is a crDroid build for G920F from 2017/07/15:

Yes, I'm currently using the RR with the 24 of june nano gapps and I don't have any problems. But in the crDroid and NexusOS with that gapps package I have that problem :s

Well i have not tested it as I dont need GPS but u can test it and there one zip by kicky vicky u can flash that for fixing GPS

Yes it s it, I made right now crdroid 4.4 based on android 8.1 that wiill come officiali, can u test it?

Tested it on I9192 Everything is working in my testing except video recording on rear camera when video recordings starts camera app force close open it again gives"cannot connect to camera" error

At first time after install footej camera taking pic from rear camera+video recording and pic from front camera is working when i shift rear camera to video recording footej camera force close open it again
says "connot open due to camera error"

didn't install on I9192.
I Flash latest build in TWRP 3.2 it continues without any error It stuck on 75% of the progress bar I wait around 20 min but Not flashed.
@DarkJoker360 Can you look into this issue.Also it's Last build So that's why I said.

So you think I can change from lineage to this rom without any issues? What kind of optimizations are included there, and what about extra settings (for example, I've tried the latest aokp rom, which bring many extra setting than lineage, but i found it very buggy)?
