Question has been posted before with no answer, Can the FRP be bypassed ? - Galaxy View Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I know this has been asked before in a post but there was no answer . I do some mild software work on PC's and phones for a friend who buys off the net and resells on another auction site. I get the please of resetting and reinstalling the software . I know this is a legitimate buy on this tablet and it has the Samsung FRP lock firmly in place. I have tried rootjunky's tips and the bypasses he used, no luck. I tried Odin and reinstalling the firmware, no luck , its deeper security than that. I tried factory resets, no luck . Other than formatting the tablet and trying to reinstall the firmware (which I have doubts will install after formatting) seems to be the last resort. It was sent in to Samsung as they said do it and it would be covered under warranty as the tech wrote it up from a chat session with support. A week later it came back in the same condition with a response they changed their mind and refused.
Another attempt to have it fixed would be to go to a Samsung repair but the guy doesn't want to spend any more money on something he is not sure on , So, any work around's on this FRP thing?

I used an OTA cable adapter w/s ##### bypass apk and it worked fine upon reset/lockout

Recovery mode asks for my pin, then just keeps rebooting

I'm trying to go back to stock after an AT&T OTA update bricked my wifes phone.
It just boots over and over over again. I followed the instructions to get into recovery mode, which it then asks for a password, I figured it was the pin code to get into the device. Problem is, after I enter the pin, it just starts doing its boot loop thing, over and over.
I can get the phone into download mode, and looking at ODIN, it appears it will take roms, but it will go back to the boot loop, and again recovery mode will ask for a password, which when giving the password it goes to boot loop mode again.
If I give it the wrong password it too many times it tells me its going to wipe the data.
I have been searching the forums all last night and part of the day at work today and I can't seem to find anyone who has had the same problem as me... either that, I'm having trouble articulating the correct syntax in the search menu to locate the problem.
I probably should have just took it into AT&T the next morning, but since they were closed I couldn't resist fiddling with it....
any ideas?
There was one other person who had that problem. I think his final solution was to go through the wrong password until the phone wiped and then he could use it. Found the thread for you here.
There might be another solution if that doesn't work.

the gentlemen in the thread you posted had a device that was at least booting.
My device cannot even get that far.... I tried putting the incorrect code in to the recovery password field and it just goes back to reboot loop.
Thank you for the reply though.
I hope AT&T will take it back.
They probably will.
You might be able to completely reset the phone using the stock firmware package from sammobile.com (not the one available in our forums). It flashes everything, so the phone will be just like from the factory. See this post if you want to try it.
But that is somewhat risky, though should work. I have not tested the flash, of course. If it was my phone, I would probably try to exchange it under warranty.
being the daredevil I am, I went to that site and downloaded it and fired up odin... it comes back with an error on line 1874 such and such., then gives a fail flag.
I don't think they will let me return it. Because I think I already flashed a non-standard rom last night just trouble shooting this problem.
But thanks for the replies, maybe someone else will see this thread and have an idea.
I have seen many posts reporting returning a phone that was not stock, or still had the counter incremented, or one that would not boot. These users have stated that the person accepting the return did not even check the phone.
Of course, this is only anecdotal evidence, but it would be worth your time to try, especially if it is a store.

+1, in my many exchanges and returns, not once has an employee powered the device on.
I'm kind of surprised stock recovery doesn't have a way to do a full wipe without a password...

I'm going to try tonight after work.
yesterday I went to the local AT&T store and they claimed they couldn't help me because they don't handle warranty's and gave me directions to a store 20 miles away.
I don't know if he was just being a typical jerk or what, but I'll guess I'll find out tonight.
Well I do have one idea - it's possible in theory (but I've never successfully done it) to wipe /data in Odin/Heimdall.
(Last time I tried it, it bombed and I had to reformat - but that might get you out of this mess to have corrupted /data that requires a reformat.)
More later.

[Q] Device bricked? (Stock flashing already tried)

Hello,
Before anybody gives me the "Use search" or "Here's this link, it solves everything" : I tried all of that !
I read countless number of posts, I tried many things !
So here is what I have :
- Samsung Galaxy S II (GT-i9100) not booting (Stuck at Logo + recovery mod not working (Download mode is))
- Can flash (Tried many different ROMS
- Stock ROM "Ice Cream Sandwich XWLP7 (4.0.3)"
- Stock recovery mod not working but ClockWorkMod's one works when I put it
What I tried :
- Tried to delete data/reset user factory
- Tried to put different versions of CyanogenMod's ROM
- Tried to put different versions of Stock ROM
- Used a stock pit file to repartition using Heimdall
I'm out of clue, if somebody has an idea what I can try ...
Thank you very much !
Edit : Forgot to say, I have access to adb interface
Given you say you've tried 'everything', what exactly do you expect anyone here to suggest ? Motherboard replacement; new one by Samsung service centre (expensive option), 2nd hand one you source online & either swap yourself or pay a local mobile repair shop to swap (cheaper option).

Thanks for the answer, I hope I didn't get too patronizing in my post
So basically my phone is bricked? Can't do anything about it?
Yeah, you did. And that's why I gave you that response.
Right...Now that we have that out of the way, search for Hopper8's 'Odin troubleshooting' thread. I don't think the link to 3 part firmware in the thread is live anymore, but the first thing I'd be doing is trying to hunt down any I9100 3 part stock firmware (not 4.0.4 though) & flashing that. Rationale being as it will wipe your phone, maybe it will remove remnants of what was previously on the phone & which may be causing problems. It's a longshot, but worth trying given the alternatives.
I'd also keep flashing stock firmwares (as many different ones as you can download), and go through all the troubleshooting steps in Hopper's thread. There's always a chance something simple/obvious is being overlooked which is tripping you up, which is easy to do if you've been at it for ages & have had no joy getting it fixed.
If after having done those things the situation hasn't changed, take it to someone who does JTAG's, and if they're prepared to have a look at it on the basis of 'you only pay them if a JTAG is possible' (I know a couple of repairers near me who do this, YMMV though), try that. It's unlikely to work/be possible, but worth trying.
If it isn't JTAG'able, then you either look at motherboard replacement as per my PP, or a new phone, as it's obviously a case of NAND corruption.
The 3 part firmware in hoppers guide is good........I'm hosting it now.....
Try the mediafire link before the dropbox one......
This might be my S2, or it might be my W...but it's definitely CM
Good news Might grab a copy myself in case it ever goes AWOL.
No probs MB.....that's what it's there for....
This might be my S2, or it might be my W...but it's definitely CM
Thank you very much for the 3 part stock firmware but it didn't solve my problem :x
I still have the phone not booting and the recovery mode bootlooping
I'll try option 2, I downloaded a bunch of stock firmwares from Sammobile and will flash my phone over and over
But I'm starting to get the impression that it's not gonna work...
I'll start asking around me if anybody has a not-working SG2 to get his motherboard
Definitely keep trying, but yeah unfortunately, you might want to start looking for that 2nd hand board.

[Q] No network access SCH-1605 need help

I am having a problem with my SCH-1605. Phone was working great rooted for 6mos and must have updated itself or I just dumbly installed one that screwed the phone up. I tried new sim from verizon (did not work), un-rooting, re-flashing with ODIN with pit and FW as suggested on other posts (for other problems) and did something wrong I forget what , got the triangle thing and then recovered with Kies and every thing supposedly was back to stock (and un-rooted). Called Samsung, went to BB service center and they reflashed firmware (same thing I did I am guessing LOL, but I humored the tech line by letting them do it again). They then told me to ship it to them and although it was not under warranty (2nd owner) they would do the full software re flash(??) and check the hardware (I would be responsible for repair and I agreed as long as they contacted me if over 125$). Well I just got the phone shipped back today with a refusal (void in warranty) to repair for rooted device!! I am pissed at this because it was ALREADY a voided warranty repair ticket. ..No contacting me, just ran it through tagged it unrepairable and shipped it back aaaargh!
Anyway, I am hoping the bright minds and technical expertise of the xda members can help us out with this problem.
I was wondering if I should try another ROM (for another radio) and I was looking at the safestrap method, but I and am leery because I have the VRUEMJ9 build and do not see instructions/files for it. (I am newber, but can follow instructions, have been researching for weeks and finally asking for HELP because I am stumped, confused, with little $$ to buy a new phone right now (full-time got cut to part-time thanks to HC issue but thats for another forum!)
Thank you in advance for any help on this issue!!

Help frp lock sm-t377p...

Recently I purchased a used tablet. Samsung sm-t377p obviously they reset it etc. And I cant set it up. Bought it off of Craigslist met the people at Safeway now they don't answer my calls. ;( C I tried all the tricks posted on you tube. Then I moved into using Odin to flash with stock ROM from SamMobile. On first attempt I got the message custom binary error frp lock. So I tried a different stock ROM for same device with a different build date. Boom it went through got the green light from odin. The tablet resets it says updating apps etc. But no matter how many times I do this flash it I still get the. This system was reset please provide the login information used etc etc
Sounds like you will need to enlist the help of someone with a tool like the z3x or Octopus box. I have a z3x, but don't have the software to allow remote access for it. Plenty of people do on eBay.
Please help me, i have a hard bricked SM-T377P, if you have one in hands you can help me to unbrick mine, it will take only 2 minutes! Here is my thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/help-sm-t377p-hard-bricked-debrick-img-t3711889
Thankssssssss!

Question Galaxy A02 FRP Bypass?

Is there a current, standalone method for bypassing google account protection or factory reset protection on the Samsung Galaxy A02 USA Variant?
Recently purchased from a buy sell trade group claiming fully unlocked and factory reset, ready to go. Absolutely FRP locked.
As irritating as this is, I currently do not have access to a PC and am hoping to utilize a method on the device alone to bypass.
Update, I have tried using a PC along with multiple "premium unlock options" as well as ADB and FastBoot commands. Nothing seems to work with this device. I've put it into fastboot mode successfully, but none of the normal fastboot commands work to remove frp. This is why you don't buy used phones online.

You can find remote FRP unlocking solutions on Ebay (runs about 20 bucks). Basically you hook up the phone to your pc and run a USB redirector software, then a tech on the other hand uses the official Samsung server to calculate the FRP key for any Samsung model and firmware version. It worked for me a number of times.
Pm me and ill send you the firmware I used

My pleasure, I hoped it helped. Let us know your progress
At the end of my wits, i am reaching out to the great minds for aid with frp removal.
i have a samsung a02s sm-124d. At this point i have tried dozens of methods with and without pc, tool, and more. This phone does not do alliance knox, not the emergency call, and i cant really find anything that doesnt lump it over to 124dl, which it is not and im afraid would brick it.
Only thing i havent tried is with another samsung but that isnt an option atm. i have os launcher 14 on it, access to most apps and galaxy store. major settings are still locked. Any idea what would be best route?
Thanks for taking time to hear me out.

its android 11. i can get into settings with os14 and have hidden settings installed, but it wont let me into apps, change my lock screen, and anything google checks and wants me to put in pass or previous account. i was able to indirectly sign into chrome through google, but it doesn't go into the phone.
thought maybe if i was signed in to chrome and tried to link samsung account with it; but it still wants me to sign into google.

Try "add to home screen" from chrome. Don't worry about bricking the phone. It's really hard to permanently break a phone. Almost always you can hook a samsung up to odin and start over. The only phones I haven't been able to fix without a new motherboard is a motorola and an Apple.

ill give it a try. *edit* looked everywhere. can ya fill me in on that?
currently it will quite often bring up my os right after it showing the welcome screen. There are references to 124d at a few sites, including samfw, but nothing more. The detailed model info i got off of the imei is correct, but since some programs say 124dl, i figure that would be my next move.
I am planning to brainstorm/plot out a methodology on the darn thing. i figure it might be worth the headache warning for anyone else lol!
Also, my kiddo handed off a samsung to me, and two days later so does my uncle, nice older models with display issues. so i may even figure that out and try some two phone action.
Apologies for the long ramble, And thanks, jayvee1, everyone, y'all have been awesome.

If you still have this issue dm me, I had it and I was able to get rid of it.. p.s. it will cost you...
