Verizon LG V10, Problem with mobile data - Verizon LG V10

I have a VS990 Verizon LG V10. Whenever I try to turn on data I get a popup message that says "Add Mobile Service Please contact Customer Service at (800) 922-0204 for assistance." I'm not using this device with verizon. Calls work but no mobile data.
I have already write in my APN.
How can I solve my problem?

Remove all existing access points. Try to set internet as APN.

There should be one called VZWINTERNET. If adding one doesn't work then the simplest fix might be a factory reset.

Excellent it worked for me thanks

had the same issue(phone worked but no data) switching from verizon to att on lg v10. Saw on another thread to goto "settings", "backup and restore", then to "reset network settings." didnt delete any of the apn info etc (so i did not have to retype info)and so far has worked like a charm. hope that helps

diag mode for Note 2

a friend is about to buy verizon galaxy note2 and was wondering if the GN2 can be programmed like the Galaxy S3?
is there a way to enter the diag mode for the GN2? can anyone test these codes and see if can enter diag mode
*#22745927 > enable hidden menu > dial *#7284# > Choose Qualcomm USB setting.
and take a screenshot..
if the above code gives the same result as in the verizon galaxy s3, I will post a tutorial in how to flash GN2 to any carrier..
thanks
It worked, I'm trying to get a screenshot out, but my phone doesnt have real great signal at the moment and I am at work and can't upload it to my desktop...

Fyi... you don't need to flash the Verizon GN2 to get other carriers. The SIM is already unlocked and to get other carriers simply requires updating the APN database file. See the Android Central thread by DroidXcon.

you are correct but this only applies to GSM networks.. but if you are going to use CDMA networks such as cricket or pageplus, the sim card won't work and the phone needs to be programmed to their network
Is there a new unlock code for 4.4.2?
For Versions 4.3 and higher use

[GUIDE][ROOT]How To Install KitKat[NOOBPROOF]

This is just a thread for a YouTube video i made last week on how to install kitkat on the G2. I wasn't going to post it here, but why not. May aswell help out some of the people who are installing a ROM for the first time, so they don't clog up the dev threads.

You have a point, there are some people who should read OP's before posting in threads.
--
This should be labeled, "HOW TO INSTALL CUSTOM ROMS ON YOUR G2". You should also mention the various models such as "LS980 = Sprint", "VS980 = Verizon", "802 = International", etc.
This is not official KitKat either but just a custom rom. Also, why is the status bar icons in the video blue vs KK White?
This video is a general blanket statement because I KNOW the VS980 has various Recoveries based off what version your stock rom is on. The latest update 12B updated the boot.img and broke the loki hack. So there are pre-11A and post-12B recoveries. There are also CWM and TWRP which some roms require. Also pushing 12B recoverying and running the loki script will yeild different results as flashing it through Flashify and FreeGee.
This video is hardly noobproof but more of a guide. You should state which phone variant you are doing in the OP a list of links like you do in the youtube description.
FYI, your method would bootloop a Verizon G2 and require you to download stock images and flash via LG's Flasher tool (which is a pain).

Hello mate, follow this link below,I made a full guide about how to make now on tap work on any marshmallow if this function was broken, this will work on any CM/AOSP/TW version of Android M (the error you're getting won't matter with this method and most probably the only method)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=63994750
Install required apps!
Obviously only do steps that correspond you!

What's new in Android 7 (V521)

Instead of us who have upgraded to 7.0 having to rediscover the tablet over again maybe we could share here of what we found is new in 7.0
Two things I've noticed so far that were pleasant surprises were that my Harry Potter Lego year 1-4 game now doesn't crash on boot. Also now double tapping the Recent button switches between current and last used app!
LG gave up on their emoji and just used Google's.
The New Update Has a Nougat Styled Notification Look instead of LG's Skinned Notification, Lock Screen Looks Better, and It Has A Different Multitask Page, so basically UI Changes And Performance Tweaks

Some apps could be moved to the External memory without any ADB command to use the external memory as internal, as you can see in this picture

I've noticed that my V20 and the G PAD have the same version of LG SmartWorld. The the theme option isn't there in the the app or settings in the tablet. I would tinker on it myself but 1. I'm not a dev 2. It's not paid off.

Unable to find root for LG-Stylus 2 (LG-K520)

Hi there,
The LG stylus 2 is my first android phone, as it was on clearance at where i bought it. I really like the phone, however I have looked in several places and i've been unable to find a successful root that will work on my phone. I've tried POOT.APK, KingRoot, checked for binaries and not really found any. The device has an option for OEM unlock in the dev options but i can't find any... anyone know where i can find one? Or is it completely unsupported?
Model : LG-K520
Android Version: 6.0.1
Software Version: V10c-EUR-XX
Thanks
i have the same issue and trying to find a fix to root this device or find a custom ROM, if you come across something please let me know
The OEM option is in the developer options.

I try all Apps and Progis (oneclickroot,kingroot,kingooroot...)!
Not Working!
I have LG K520K, still no root method!
Still no root
Es ist durchaus möglich, jedoch sollte man hierzu etwas Fachwissen besitzen.
Eine funktionierende Lösung per App oder PC Software kenne ich leider nicht.
