How to add more tiles to the Quick Settings in dropdown menu - MM 6.0.1 - Honor 5X Questions & Answers

Hi, before I updated to MM I had more tiles/icons I could use. Now with the new update MM 6.0.1 EMUI 4.0 it's not possible to have more than nine ready-to-use icons. So my question is, given I have root, xposed and phone unlocked, how can I add more icons to the dropdown menu? Any files to edit, or any xposed modules to try ?
I tried GravityBox [MM] but it does not work. Phone is KIW-L24, rooted, xposed and TWRP installed.
Thanks.
PS. I have checked for a while for a solution, but so far no luck.

you will be out of luck to hear this..
unfortunately, you cannot do what you are intending to(as for my knowledge).. feature is burried with lollipop ..
i have surfed over the entire settings and found nothing

Yes, I was afraid I'd not be able to change that, ... too bad such a useful feature gets axed. Is there any custom ROM out there for Honor 5X that can do that, that's close to Huawei's EMUI (I kinda got used to it now) ?
I've checked the custom ROMs sub-forum from time to time, but I'm not sure which to chose. Do you have any suggestions ?
Thanks.

[Q] system ui FC when try to enable tablet UI

Hello, someone may know me, I recently changed my phone from my beloved N1 to F240s(optimus g pro)
and It has locked bootloader, so I cannot port any roms.
and, I want to enable tablet ui to my phone, but we cannot enable tablet ui by changing dpi(due to system ui stopped).
I know there is way to enable it, but I can't find it.
I searched a lot, and I figured out I have to modify framework stuff.
but there's no well-explained way to enable tablet ui.
If you can tell me how to do it, I'm pretty sure that will help others, too.
to be briefed:
1.I have f240s(optimus g pro), and it has locked bootloader
2.so I can't flash any roms 'cause there isn't any roms.
3.we cannot enable tab.ui by changing dpi
4.I KNOW there's a way to enable tablet ui. don't tell me I have to use PA (cause it has LOCKED BOOTLOADER, so it will take a long time to have a custom rom)
P.S. I will change dpi if it can enable tab.ui, but in stock it doesn't work so I have to modify system files.
I was wondering the same. I have a tablet with almost nearly stock android (modified by acer) but it has the same ui than the nexus 7 , but i dont like it because it shows nav bar and status bar on top and i prefer when both area at the bottom that way the screen looks bigger
Anyways i was looking for threads related an i found this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1780970
Its very interesting you should read it . Let me know if it helps you i will try it and report

How can i change the font on 5.1.1.?

Hi. İ want to chenge my font with Rosemary by the iFont an some other apps from Google play are not working... İ found some flashable zips for Xperia 5.0.2 but they are not competible with 5.1.1.... Now i need your help for this...
Fontster was working while I was using the GPe 5.1 port. Haven't tried it on Sony's 5.1.1 build, but I'll go ahead and assume it's working just fine.
Well I didnt tried changing fonts on Android 5.1.1 still. But I was wondering if there is any way to get option of fonts in Default Settings menu, (Just like the way it is present in Samsung and HTC phone's stock rom i.e. In Settings -> Personalisation -> Fonts).
Nope, those a pure Samsung/HTC features, and you'll have to use a root-app to change it on Sony and other OEMs.
Well Someone once posted a flashable zip to get Smart Call Handling in Cross Device Development Project. We got a option in Settings because the OEM had already added the code to get 'em there. I was thinking maybe this gonna happen again.
Well Thanks

Zenfone 2 551ML replace quick settings with android default bar

Hey I'm new here and I got a question hoping someone can help me,
I have a Zenfone 2 551ML running Android 5.0 with root, TWRP, busybox and xposed.
I recently removed all my bloatware with TitaniumBackup like all the Asus custom stuff I don't need.
I also deleted the "Flashlight" app and the "Boost" app (with Backup). Now the shortcuts in the quicksettings bar for flashlight or boost make the SystemUI stop. I tried backing up the apps with Titanium but it didn't change anything and after a thounsand times of reflashing my phone I really don't wanna reset everything again. SO:
Can I remove the Asus quicksettings bar and replace it with the standard android quick settings bar?
I've searched everywhere but couldn't find any help.
Try android n-ify from xposed

[Xposed][Testing] XHideBatterySaver: Hide the battery saver color from the status bar

I recently switched to an android phone and ever since the first boot i was annoyed by the status bar color of the battery saver mode, i've tried various solutions but none seems to work, so here it is, my solution : a handy xposed module that just works™ (hopefully)
I tested this only on my phone Mi A1 with latest Resurrection Remix (android 8.1), It should work on android 8.0 and 8.1 and it MIGHT work on older versions where the other methods don't work, if you can please test and let me know.
Still if this doesn't work on your device there are good chances that it could be ported pretty easily, i might write a tutorial if people are interested
You can find the apk here : https://github.com/exelix11/XHideBatterySaver/releases
and the source code here : https://github.com/exelix11/XHideBatterySaver
There is no configuration, just install and enable the module and it should work.
For anything ask me here or with a DM
wow thank you! I was literally like two years. ago looking to find a module that would do this but work on oreo. low and behold here it is and it works
thank you again! so happy to have that stupid red color gone Lol

[Guide] Enable Ambient Display Gestures Using Magisk.

I was looking around for various customisation mods and found this link. I tested it on Havoc OS-Final build and it seems to be working flawlessly with wave to wake function and i am able to customise the watch style using Havoc Settings (Under Lock Screen--> Clock Style). All Credit goes to original Developer for this amazing module. Also attached the file for convenient usage.

Doesn't work on Stock ROM
Doesn't work with Vanilla Stock ROM, Rooted.
I don't know how much different this module is from the one available on official Magisk Module download repo but the latter sure doesn't work. It's for AOSP/near AOSP ROMs. Since Asus is not Android One, doesn't qualify ATM.
worked (Aex v7.3, reloaded A10, maybe other Rom can too), thank you. I extracted the magisk module, then pushed it to /system/priv-app
