I believed that the last rom was dated from 14/05 but I only could see a room dated from 19/04

Installed latest version v3.4 last Sunday - no issues whatsoever since.
A big thank you to firebird11! There's apparently not so much feedback in this thread but I hope you keep on keeping it alive.

What about the network stability? All N ROMs has problems with this
I mean the phone very often loose the LTE signal and needs a full reboot to get LTE/4G back.

Yaa.. except OOS all roms has this problem

Well yes, no issues besides the obvious ones with the signal. Although I have to say a reboot was never necessary for me - it loses the signal but gets it back within a few seconds. My phone is always on since I installed it last weekend. I had random reboots with two other ROMs I used before and at least that is not happening with this one.
Losing the LTE signal from time to time is nothing that's troubling me, others may see that differently however.

I was gonna flash this ROM, but after reading few comments regarding signal issues, i decided to stay on OOS. Apart from OOS, only Aosip ROM has no issues with signal until they changed their base recently Wish we could see any progress on this.

Don't be sad! @CheckYourScreen has fixed this issue recently.
So just wait for his builds or install the pure AOSP-CAF which got an update today with that bug fix integrated.

v3.5 is out !
changelog:
* July 2017 security patched in. (Android 7.1.2_r24)
* Add toggle to remove dismiss icon in recents view.
* Configurable long press delay in smartbar settings.
* Toggle to display close button for longpress notifications.
* Auto off torch configuration after longpress power button.
* Fixes for livedisplay tile.
* Refreshed all tiles.
* Lots of minor fixes and optimizations.
* Updated libraries for performance.

Very good. Thank

hi everyone,
I just moved this afternoon from CM13 (Sultan's touch) to this crDroid 3.5 ROM.
So far so good Thanks to the dev(s) !
But a very important (to me) feature seems to be missing : a quick settings tile with Profiles.
Is it gone with Lineage OS ? I'm confused
Edit : after a few researches, this QS Profiles tile is actually missing in Lineage OS !
A huge loss in my opinion ;(

Big thanks
Latest build had been rock solid so far. Will continue to test and see how it works but can't believe more people aren't giving this a try. Everything synced well, all social media is working, camera is great, but still using moto camera, scrolling is smooth on web pages. Great work:good:

I used it on both 2/09 and 2/11 nightly for AICP and both times it downloaded fine from play store and was fully functional as it is for this ROM as well. If I remember correctly Hashbang included a hack to get it working properly bit I could be wrong on that.
Haven't had any issues so far.
Anyone noticed any lag on this Rom? On another rom I tried there's a micro stutter especially when unlocking the device & pulling down the notification panel
Agreed , out of the several ROMs we do have this one by far is the best. I've been using for a few days now and haven't found any bug's. The notification panel pulls down nice and smooth. The scrolling is smooth and everything synched up nicely. All the cameras I've tried have worked. The moto gestures work well... Hats off to the Dev... Sweet job on this... Really,, more people should test drive this

Flashed and everything is working, thanks dev. Nice to see back some features like PIE controls.
The only issue I've saw is when i enable the crDroid logo, move it to the right and receive a notification, then the icon gets duplicated.

Small workaround for the Settings FC
Long press on a Quick Settings tile to go to Settings and then you can slide from left to get all options in Settings
or
Keep mobile data on
I'm working on a proper fix too
Nice rom! Bluetooth doesn't work!
EDIT: Ok now that I have time I could write a non-tarzan post. The rom is really fluid, and most of it worked fine so far. The two main bugs are video playback on landscape (sometimes works, sometimes doesn't) and Youtube in landscape. Both situations lead to a reboot. You did a great work here, and I appreciate it. Thank you so much!
New build is up!!

Thank you very much for your work for this
I am way too happy with RR right now to try new build, but I will try soon.
Thanks to all Dev'er's for their hard work
Sent from my Moto G4 Play using XDA Labs
Don't know if its a bug with the ROM itself or if its the way I have my settings configured, but swiping from the left side to pull up menus in for example XDA Labs, Play Store, etc, isn't working on my device for this build. I'll delve further into settings to see if it is a problem on my end though
*edit*
Well after applying a substratum theme and having the systemUI reboot, everything is working fine. Weird haha

thank you very much, i hope this one will fix my camera too. I had problems when filming, the camera app seems to crash...
I will flash this update right away!
UPDATE: camera problems seems to be fixed! but now i have another problem, i can't access my SD-CARD anymore, i also had this with the previous build. Root access seems to work and no matter what i do i can't access the SD card itself. It gives my the same popup message everytime i do it with the cyanogen file manager. "You have insuffient rights for this action, you need higher permission, try to enable ROOT-ACCESS mode."
When i try to switch to root access mode nothing really changes, it's the same everytime. I tried a third party app and thought it will fix the problem. But nope, totally the same.
UPDATE: Problem solved, the problem was a file corruption in the SD card i believe. I did a format and everything works nicely now!

It seems questionable to keep releasing ROMs with camera problems, yet that seems to be what's happening.
How will we magically know when the next new ROM/update finally fixes the camera?
I'm using a different ROM and hadn't tried this one. Since this one is new to me, I wouldn't have automatically expected that it comes with camera problems "baked in".
The camera is broke on the ROM I'm using ATM, but, I just installed "Moto Camera" from the Play Store and it seems to be working fine?
Very functional
It's a great rom, just a little trouble with the camera using whatsapp,
I use the rom daily, the battery is stable and durable, the customization is reliable :good:

There is a posibility to work on the XT1681 version of the G5 plus, thanks
Loving the latest build. Everything working great, except quick charge of course. Which brings me to my question. What will the devs need to be able to enable/fix quick charge on custom ROMs?
Just a curiosity question really. Thanks for this awesome ROM!

I have this rom, my device xt1681 latam, and yes is functionally
Hello!
Awesome work on the rom. I'm loving it. Really smooth and with awesome battery life.
Anyways, there are a couple issues that I would like to report so you can hopefully fix them soon:
1. Battery quick tile does not show the percentage even when it is enabled for status bar icon.
2. Custom charging indicator icon option is disabled and I can't find the way to enable it.
3. Automatic LiveDisplay isn't working properly. I mean, it doesn't turn on nor off automatically.
4. Automatic do not disturb mode turns on correctly, but it never turns off until I manually do so.
5. Radio is not working.
6. Can you please add an option to remove the conditions shown at the top of settings?
7. I think this is with all roms but it will be awesome if you fix that. When more than 6 small qs tiles are enabled, the last icons go outside of the panel when swiping it down.
8. There are double ambient display settings. One under Display settings and one in crDroid Settings -> Display.
9. Notifications led does not blink at a constant speed or duration. It is really really random all the time. So bad it becomes annoying to have. It also stays completely on all the time ambient display is shown. Please fix this.
Thanks in advance! Keep up the great work.

I'm loving this ROM too - it has built-in root you turn on in Developer options (already visible by default), a nicely configurable 'crDroid Home' launcher, a ton of custom settings (under Settings/crDroid Settings) including a built-in AdAway pre-set with 16 host sources, and a File Manager that handles root once you enable native root. Has lots of nice touches like a more versatile keyboard, the 'Use USB to charge, transfer files, etc' window pops right up when plugged in to pc, and more stuff geared for enthusiasts.
It's great as is, but if you flash a custom kernel (like EX 1.02-los) you'll lose the built-in root and Developer options disappears which can't be brought back by tapping the build number. But I did one install with EX 1.02-los and Magisk for root which works fine too (aside from losing Dev options) including the built-in AdAway. This also gives you KCAL color adjustments which is lacking on the default kernel, however I've found that the color-depth issue was mainly just on stock (thanks Lenovorola!) and most/all custom ROMs don't really need it except for fine-tuning.
Anyway, I encourage others to give this one a try, it's got some unique features, camera & everything works, and performance is very good.
This rom deserves a ton of attention, this thing is near perfect ?. I been on it two days now with zero issue.
I am surprised this rom has very little attention. This is perfect!
I have been running it for 5 days. I haven't had one issue. Battery is also very good. I can go 2 days with one charge and moderate use. Camera is also perfect. Thanks @vache for this rom.
Been trying several ROMs and keep coming back to this one for its built-in/enthusiast features that I personally like. Are you both using the native root & kernel? I don't think the camera is as good as stock despite the better functionality now, the photos just aren't as good in less than optimal conditions. For that I keep an updated stock debloated backup I can switch to in less than 5 minutes, but don't often need to.
Since the thread got moved, I'll mention here that two other nice ROMs I've tried recently and think are similar in some ways, are the Tesla and Validus ROMs, both working well on latest releases. Validus and crDroid seem to be my two favorites currently.
I think this might be my first custom Rom try for my moto g5 plus. This is the longest I have owned any device with still stock rom (rooted of course) I just haven't seen a Rom fully functional yet, and camera problems are a deal breaker. I'll have to buck up and just give if a try for a day

I used the micro open gapps. Saw that too about a pixel style launcher (?), maybe it had one in the past. I have regular att and with most custom ROMs have had to change the APN from what it defaults to (which may work poorly or not at all since there are several) compared to what I have on stock, so maybe check that. Fwiw, I also do a double wipe - factory reset followed by advanced dalvik/system/data/cache wipe before flashing.

There's no need to quote the entire OP, please don't.
Do you mean how to pass safetynet? Not sure what bypassing it would mean. Did you install the universal safetynet fix? If not give that a try (the 'download stable' version), it fixed it for me.

Sorry - I have asked this on other distributions, but any areas that may be more reliable in crDroid?
I seem to have been one of those unfortunate people that have a phone that works fine on Samsung kitkat, but have had issues with STD lineageos where I had occasional lockups at the end of a call and random reboots. Also found that with resurrection The phone would appear ok, but was not responsive to incoming calls.
Any known differences with crDroid in the call handling area?

can you use kernel for kozmo21 source , make support for crdroidAndroid rom,The LOS kernel charge is too slow
sorry my bad English!
Well here goes...
Installed crDroid and gaps smoothly.
Looking good so far.
Will check for random reboots or lockups over the next few days.
Really hope it's solid - but I seem to have had issues with other roms for some reason.
So I see I have just had a random reboot around 20 minutes back. First time since installing around 4 days ago. Phone has just been sitting around the house not doing much. Its also on the wifi. Have made a few calls to/from the phone. Seems ok so far. Haven't seen it lock on ending a call -yet...
Battery life seems pretty good.
Wonder what causes the reboots?

Would that be useful?
I grabbed the radio and logcat files using adb from my PC, but the logcat only has entries from after the reboot/crash.
Will certainly upload them if you think its worth your time looking.

any update this rom,thank you
Small feedback
Flashed build 20180105 two days ago and it's running quite solid and smoothly.
It saved me, because I was really needing the phone working good with a more recent android version than 4.4, and this rom is looking amazing. Everything working fine so far.
I would be glad to help with what I can, reporting my usage experience since I'll be using this rom from now on
Thanks and congratulations for the great work on this!
I've been using this rom for almost a month, initially it was fine, but now data doesn't work very good and I could notice a bug after restart the smartphone, when I click on the pencil in quick settings panel the system freezes and lock the phone. After that, the phone works "normally" with an absurde battery consumption (I'm not sure, but I believe these two things are related in some way).
Everything else works fine, but could have improvements too (has everything in life ^^).
This rom has potential, however the last build (20190126) of EOL LineageOS 14.1 works better.
Thanks, better than others
