Not working/bugged:
Sensors (somentimes proximity doesn't work, might be my tempered glass)
Camera doesn't start the first time you open the app, close it and reopen after you see the UI, it can also lock the orientation, if you experience it, lock the device, flip it into desired orientation and unlock (this is a priority bug right now and the only debugging this port gets now is to fix this scum)
On my device WiFi doesn't work at times and reqires devel-su modprobe -r wlan; devel-su modprobe wlan (if you experience this as well, report it immideately)

HOW TO REPORT BUG
After bug occurs type in the terminal following commands:
/usr/libexec/droid-hybris/system/bin/logcat
devel-su dmesg
devel-su journalctl
and give me logs from there (do not paste it in the post! Use pastebin.com)

OTA Guide
Run this in terminal. It will ask you for password you can set in developer mode. Last command reboots the phone. You can do it manually, but beware. All bugs encountered before reboot are features!

Try to reboot recovery after installing cyanogenmod and then install UNMODIFIED SailfishOS zip

no. sim doesnt work. Options doesnt even show up in settings.
I have uploaded logs into pastebin: url suffix: aCXgV5qx
Check status of firmware.service and firmware.mount with devel-su systemctl status, but set your root password in development options prior to that

Oh I meant set of files such as "android_device_sony_karin" or "android_device_sony_msm8994-common". (you can see some device tree for other devices on cyanogenmod's Github)

Hello, I'm seriously considering to buy this device but first I want to make sure (before buying a new tablet) that (a) it supports root (which obviously you were able to do) and (b) to support linux running on the device's framebuffer.
Since running linux on my 10 inch + tablets has become a 2nd nature to me (tablets make some of the best netbooks, being so light and battery-efficient compared to regular netbook) may I venture a suggestion?
Can you try enabling the config_VT on the kernel's option (i.e. the Virtual Terminal feature)? I know some devices to be unbootable after enabling that feature, others do boot. I mean I would be happy to try it myself, but for that I would need to buy the device first, and I much prefer to have a confirmation first.
So yeah great work there (creating the first custom kernel et al). Enabling a single feature would -at worse- cause a boot loop, so I'd guess it would be an easy experiment to do (in case of bootloop you just reflash a "proper" version of the kernel).

I do not have the time ATM to test VT.
When I have the itch to work in terminal mode I either use adb from my Debian box or the app "Terminal Emulator".
What would VT give us more?
I'd like (as a challenge, not too useful) to port Perl 5.22 to the device and some tools...
But that should be possible with my above mentioned terminals at hand.
I have disabled SONY's RIC and that prevents the bootloops when fiddling with the configuration.
No guaranty for CONFIG_VT though.
Next thing I will try (not this week I suppose): work with the latest ..31 version from SONY and try to enable SELinux again. AndroPlus used my sources and with "his" kernel SELinux is disabled - necessary for me in rooting in the first attempt but I'd like to have SELinux again (stagefright etc.)
Virtual Terminal gives us the chance to output whatever image "we wish" directly to Android's framebuffer.
To make a longer story short, it lets us run Linux on a chroot environment almost natively.
The alternative to that would be running a whole X-server on top of Android or -worse- establish a VNC connection to the chroot environment. In both occasions running a (Desktop) linux distro would be a pain both for every-day use purposes but also kill the battery.
So -yeah- enabling the VT feature lets us -basically- turn our android tablet into a linux tablet with a press of a button (a script that starts the chroot environment and outputs to android's framebuffer) and then back to android through a second script.
I find the concept of Android/Linux netbooks/tablet very appealing as unlike Surface pro it lasts a longer (battery wise), it's half the weight and much better for tablet purposes.
Anyway testing VT would be a godsend (just see whether it boots at least). If it does boot I will buy the tablet in a heartbeat, and probably even write a guide of how to turn it into a full featured Linux machine with the press of a button (without having to dual boot)
I'll try to build config_VT enabled kernel.
For ric problem, maybe this commit works, so I'll try this.

This is straight disabling RIC.
Fine but when I went this route my device bootlooped. I suppose because RIC-calls are hardcoded into SONY's init binary and we do not have the source for that.
So my "solution" was just to patch the calls to RIC and give OK on every call.
When AOSP sources will be available we have a modifiable init and you get your device tree.

A quick way to check if it worked is to open Terminal emulator. Then navigate to dev/graphics and make a mental note of the different fb files that exist in that folder (for example fb0, fb1, etc)
When you do that you simply type "su" (to gain super user access) and lastly:
cat /dev/urandom > /dev/graphics/fb0
If all goes well you should get a flashing screen or even a solid screen with urandom's gibberish on top of the screen (a screen fillled with characters). You should *not* get "static" (non specific image) or an error code, really. After trying fb0 , please try the rest of FBx that you found in /dev/graphics. At least one should work as above (generally fb0 does).

Since I'm very much interested, where did you find it (selling it) at 465 Euros? Everywhere I look is close to 600 Euros (shipping included) and that's kind of too much.

I could build TWRP from source but it didn't boot, so I need to brush up my dirty device tree...

Please guide how to use multiple apps installation. I am using yureka Blisspop 4.0.3. ROM velocity V10 Kernel. PC OS Windows 10 home. I install the Yuware and connect my device showing as Connected. After that when i try to install all the APK as per instructions, after 20 seconds display that apk files installed check the log file. when i check mhy mobile not even 1 app was installed and log file showing empty. Remaining commands all are working like Recovery, reboot, install apk individual....
Please guide how to fix this issue....Thanks in Advance

Features
Almost same as Pure Nexus Stock image.
Enabled SEAndroid, No Rooting feature provides for security reason.
All build scripts are opened on github
Mobile data is disabled as default for user that has cheap data plan. But you can enable on data setting menu.
Stock rom users can use this rom without perform reset userdata partition. (In theoretically, it can be applied to other custom rom users, but not tested. )
Known Issues
Nougat version is still unstable. Please use at your own risk.
Some apps can be crashed (ex: firefox, games using unity, etc...)
No more crash on debuggable build. But some credential apps might not work.
Recorded video can contains green flicking.
Video recording feature in Google camera is still unstable.
Footej camera is recommaned
Google Play Movies cannot play movies because DRM issue.
[*] User switch feature is not working. It should be fix in next release.

Installation instructions
1. power down
2. press power and volume down button, and your nexus 5 will go fastboot mode
3. connect usb cable with your PC
4. run fastboot for flashing
If you are using stock factory image or already use this rom.

Thanks for reporting, and I found solution.
Rom must be signed with "release-keys", but this rom was signed with dev-keys.
In next release, I'll sign with "release-keys".

This is the Alpha stable release still has many bugs so don't complain about it. Enjoy your newly built SFOS 2.0.5.6 for Xiaomi Redmi 2 device. This is not Android, this is pure Linux similar to Ubuntu based upon libraries from Android.
For Newbies who don't know the difference between Sailfish OS and Android OS respectively a here is a compact difference list:
1. Pure Linux vs Modified Linux kernel
2. A real multitasker vs Naah not so much of multi-tasking.
3. Store sucks vs Tons of Apps
4.Android apps support too. vs Only Android app is supported.
Change LOG (Compact):
1. Kernel Patched for faster bootup.
2. Wlan, BT, MultiSIM, PulseAudio,GPS fixed.
3. Jolla Store is enabled
4. Multi ROM support
Steps:
1. Go to TWRP recovery mode.
2. Wipe All data except media.
3. Flash CM-12.1 for Redmi 2
4. Flash SailfishOS ROM.
5. Reboot the system after wiping Cache/Dalvik Cache.
There you go. Your SFOS 2.0.5.6 is now loaded. To skip the tutorial touch upper left corner of the screen and clockwise till bottom left corner.
To debug and report error open terminal in Linux and type "telnet 192.168.2.15 2323". For Windows probably install telnet related services and libraries and use the same command in cmd prompt.
Bugs:
1. Front Camera doesn't work. Instead switching between them might lead to camera app crash, to resolve it switch back again to front or back cam.(Temporary soln).
2. Media Player will not play song, to resolve it do the following
3. 4G won't work (as of now). My 4G signal is too weak so it didn't work, my bad.(For JIO users : Go to Settings>Cellular Networks>Data Access point : Change Access point name from "jionet" to "www".)
4. Android Apps won't work (as of now)
5. Battery drain leads to bootloop

How to install (For Linux Users only):
1. Download the RPM files mentoioned here

3. In your device goto Settings>Developer Settings and set your password and note down the I.P. address for USB if you are using USB for file transfer or Wifi for Wifi file transfer.
4. Now go to the folder where RPM files are located and right click to open terminal
5. Enter scp *.rpm [email protected]"I.P. address for USB/Wifi": (Add colon ":" sign after the I.P. address, also if you are using USB for file transfer, use the USB I.P. Address mentioned in your developer settings and similarly for Wifi)
6. Enter your password you have set previously and file transfer would begin.
7. Now for USB connected phone open a new terminal and type telnet 192.168.2.15 2323 (If this is not the I.P. address for USB you can see the relevant I.P. address as shown in the Developer Settings of your phone and enter the same after telnet except for 2323(port number))
8. Type su
9. Now type cd /home/nemo
10. Type ls to confirm that all files have been transferred successfully.
11. Type rpm -i --force *.rpm
12. Now type reboot
13. After reboot again in the terminal type telnet 192.168.2.15 2323 and type killall surfaceflinger zygote system_server main servicemanager
14. Now run SFDROID and wait for sometime your Android will load.
15. For Wifi connected phone (Make a Wifi Hotspot on your computer and connect to the hotspot for the mobile device, don't use Wireless router, use direct connection b/w computer and mobile) open a new terminal and type ssh [email protected] (Your I.P. address for Wifi as shown in the Developer setiings of your phone)
16. Now type devel-su
17. Now type in your password
18. Now type cd /home/nemo
19. Now type rpm -i --force *.rpm
20. Now type reboot
21. After reboot again type ssh [email protected]
22 Type killall surfaceflinger zygote system_server main servicemanager
Note: Android is bit sluggish and not perfect as a native Android, but hey at least you got your Android running.

It is not true, 4G won't work because ROM doesn't support VOLTE, and as far as JIO goes, it requires 4G and VOLTE for full activation.
Android Apps will work. That is what SFDROID is for.

Read it again my friend, it is a bug or I may say a non-availability now. Ported phones don't support Android apps straight away, I will make sure in later builds Android apps work.

Also the ROM does not seem to boot for me
Wonderful I was waiting for this, had good times with SFOS , but one provided by adeen-s was not booting from LP bootlader. Good to know that this does boot. I will wait for some time.. Let it get a bit stable. (Its still Alpha)

On Android 10+, system partitions might no longer be able to remount as read-write. For devices use dynnamic partition, it is nearly impossible to modify system partiton as there is no space left.

Why Read Only? Can't make R/W (vndk lite).Almost GSIs builds are RO now. Because R/W are so big not suitable for... (Most devices have small system partition which might even be less than 3GB.)

Definitely correct about the 3in1 - not a chance! And also definitely do not use the decryption files! And, true, the stock or any other pre-existing recovery will not go away! Unfortunately, if you are using a simple magisk patched rom, it won't do the backup because it does not seem to ever recognize the data. The Fastboot works but, for the moment, it is as easy to use a FastbootD patched recovery. Finally, I was only able to reboot to system just once after flashing the twrp. I think that might have been because I did not try to decrypt after the initial flash. Been at this for 4 days. It's given me a new appreciation for how difficult this is! As a non developer (I am a lawyer), I got used to the TWRP process taking no more than 20 minutes!
It's exhausting. And I was going through this process (not root, I need that), to be more able to make the device do what it is advertised to do: make calls. I might give up on that!

uses gsi A13(QPR-1) such as elixer 3.6 etc. Assistant can make a call from your contact.
You were never supposed to post this, considering the github source code wasn't updated according to this twrp image.
edit: Thanks for removing the twrp image from your post, I'll be updating twrp when things get more stable.

Kernelsu is supported for one ui, but one ui no need to use overlayfs module cause super partition of one ui are rw.
