Based on TWRP 3.2.3 from @MrTapok(4PDA) ( all credits to him ) i mounted TWRP 3.2.3-0 ALE for P8 Lite Alice.
I have done some change and fix the random reboot after 20m, default language is English.
It have the same "Face" then previous one. ( TWRP 3.1.1-0 )
TWRP.3.1.1-2 have double touch to activate like TWRP 3.2.3.
Change log:
27-01-2019 TWRP.3.2.3 now can flash default ROM update.zip file.
18-02-2019 TWRP.3.2.3 now can flash Recovery2 image
Zips below are:
RECOVERY.zip<-LINK - Can be flashed in recovery as stock recovery and in recovery2 as ERecovery
NO.ERECOVERY.zip<- LINK - Can be flashed in recovery and recovery2 as only stock recovery (NO ERecovery mode)
TWRP.3.2.3.ALE.zip - Can be flashed in recovery and recovery2
Boot in recovery: phone off, press vol+ and power at same time
Boot in recovery2: phone off, plug USB on phone and PC, press vol+ and power at same time
Enjoy it!

Did you base on their sources on github?
I'm not sure if they aren't a bit too old... Does your TWRP support f2fs filesystem and there isn't a reboot issue?

No, i dind´t base on their source. I use Twrp 3.1.0-2 structure and Honor 4x main files from TWRP 31.1-0.
I don´t find any reboot issue ...
And yes, it support f2fs filesystem but your kernel must suport it to to use it!

Yes I know and there are two roms with f2fs support (made by openkirin team ofcourse).
Older version from surdu_petru had a reboot issue during making a backup

Since I installed this recovery, RROS does not work any better and some apps whatsapp does not open anymore

I try to format cache and data to f2fs file system and images did not accept this format. Better luck with you.

I was using both with /data and /cache in f2fs... well actually on los 14.1 only /data.

The recovery interfering with whatsapp ??? -_-
You know how recovery works, right? If you don´t have done nothing to data and cache, recovery can´t do anything to the apps, right? Is like a Bios in PC, only works if you call it!

I try in default ROM and is ANdroid 6.
You get more performance in ROM if you format cache to f2fs, it have more read write procedures.

Well if it was possible to make it working on 7.x it's also possible to make it working on 6.0

I only found this issue by using f2fs file format, i don´t know if there is more issues!
And NO, B600 can´t suport f2fs file format, i try it even changing boot.img

@persona78
I had this error when I was flashing rros. It flashed without any problem anyway.
Btw. F2FS is working as it's supposed to

[RECOVERY][KERNELs] Recovery and Kernel for F2FS 31/03/14

Recovery and Kernels for F2FS
What is F2FS?
F2FS (Flash-Friendly File System) is a flash file system created by Kim Jaegeuk at Samsung for the Linux operating system kernel. The motive for F2FS was to build a file system that from the start takes into account the characteristics of NAND flash memory-based storage devices (such as solid-state disks, eMMC, and SD cards), which are widely used in computer systems ranging from mobile devices to servers.
Instructions:
I tested this procedure with SlimKat so my advice is to start with a working SlimKat rom or another rom that is reported to work good.
We have to Format our memory with F2FS. We need a "special" TWRP and a compatible kernel.
Compatible Kernel:
MiRaGeKernel-mako-F2FS-140331.zip
SlimKernel-mako-F2FS-140331.zip
(All credits to authors. I have only made them compatible with F2FS)
Download compatible Kernel
Download "special" TWRP openrecovery-twrp-2.7.0.0-mako-F2FS.img
Copy Kernel on Phone
Flash Kernel with your current Recovery
Flash "special" TWRP with Fastboot
Reboot in Recovery
Go to Wipe Menu and press Format Data (The Big BUTTON!) (You will LOSE all your Data! Music, Movies etc!!)
Reboot
(Recovery has a RED back button to remember you that you are using the F2FS recovery!)
Enjoy
Phone is snappy and smooth with F2FS.

It's built specifically for flash storage, including FS level TRIM which executes the command during every commit and doesn't need to rely on Android's native TRIM which only TRIMs during screen off. It's much faster based on current implementations and etc. The only downside is that F2FS isn't considered "stable" yet. This is why there's not a lot of devices on the market has F2FS out of the box. The only one I know is the Moto X and G.

Also work with my HellsDoctor and @ak 's one.
@legolas93 are you going to release an ALL-F2FS version like you did for the nexus 7 2012?
Doesn't seem to have done anything. I followed the op. Running ak newest kernel. Got the right twrp with red back button. Went to wipe went to format typed yes. Operation completes very quickly. Reboot and everything seems to be the same ie all items are still on SD card.
How do I tell if this worked?

it worked when there's no data left on your internal, maybe try to wipe data again, and post recovery.log
@legolas93 Did you ported F2FS from which version of Linux?

This happens to me too. Some installed apps FC after doing this, though.
It is like TWRP does nothing to the phone. Factory resets or classical wiping don't do anything, either.

I don't think that All-F2FS make us gain a big benefit and we will lose support of all ROMs...etc..
I think it's better to stay with only /data as F2FS in this case, so we can use all ROMs with a very small pain.

It's mainly a dennes54 kernel-work. We are around Linux 3.10+ level..
@legolas93 could you maybe upload another compatible kernel? Seems like these only work for AOSP ROMs and not CAF.... Hellscore's CM kernel (http://d-h.st/u6o) would be awesome ☺

Awesome mate I liked f2fs; better storage performance and handling. But only thing holding me back is fewer kernels supporting this filesystem. Can you make matr1x kernel supporting this f2fs?
Thanks. My device is not yet rooted, gonna root it soon. So my question is, after finishing rooting and flashing slimkat like I planned to, can I use the f2fs like instructed or do I need to do anything else?
So anyone can tell me what's the advantage? I read it but didn't get it.
Don't work.... always on ext4 and data not formated... My kernel support f2fs.

It worked for me. My data was formated. I tried it with the kernels provided in the OP. Your kernel stuck at the bootanimation. So I guess your implementation is different from legolas kernel mods.

SlimM for MT6592 is an aftermarket ROM made by the best in the class devs who prefer simplicity in their work. Hence, the name Slim. SlimROM for MT6592 is based on Google AOSP and it tries to keep it as stock as possible without much features which normal users don't want to use. Thus, creating a powerful ROM which packs a punch of performance, battery life and simplicity. Definitely recommended for for people who don't want much features from their ROM but just want simplicity and performance.

Hello!
Thank you for putting efforts in building his Slim ROM for HTC D816.
I currently have Kitkat Stock ROM - Rooted, Unlocked Bootloader - Has TWRP backup. I am wanting to update my device to a newer firmware but I cannot do so since Im rooted and cannot install OTA.
If I flash this directly, will it work? Mine is A5_DUG - CID : 622 - Dual Sim,
Which version did you try this btw? TIA.

So far, AMAZING rom, and this will probably be my daily driver henceforth. Only problem I'm having is that something is tripping up Snapchat and I'm not able to login... I even went into TWRP and flashed Magisk 15.1 to see if I could use the Magisk Hide option, but I'm unable to log in even after making sure Magisk was hidden from Snapchat. Something else must be tripping it up.

Awesome, much appreciated
I still cant seem to get this to boot.
I did a full wipe (cache, dalvik/art, system, data), factory reset, format data.
Flash ROM and 8.1 GApps Aroma from TWRP Unofficial link. Reboot. Right back to recovery.
Attempted multiple times. but could be doing something wrong with the order of the process. Will continue to try.
Make sure you backup internal and have a full nandroid of everything including modem because once you try to restore back to OOS it will say encryption unsuccessful and you have to format data and flash a full OOS zip before you can boot because a factory reset won't work (even though that's what it says you must do). And restoring just boot system and data will leave you without data connection.
Thanks for the hard work dev!
Awesome Rom
This rom is a beast, so much customization. So far the only issue i have come across was the camera, the pictures were coming out at a 90 degreee angle. i had to install google camera and that solved it.
Im not sure about the battery usage as i have only just flashed it but lets see.
Massive thank you to the Devs, good work.

Download the recovery image from above
Reboot into fastboot
Run this command (Change the .img to whatever the name of file is you downloaded):
Code:
fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.5.0_9-0-x2.img
Once it is flashed, please force a reboot to recovery by holding down the Power and Volume Up buttons at the same time until the phone reboots and you see the LeEco logo and the word "recovery" underneath it. (This is because if you allow normal boot after flashing TWRP and you are using EUI ROM and your phone reboots to EUI ROM? It will overwrite recovery with stock EUI ROM recovery. Forcing a reboot from bootloader to recovery prevents this issue)
Upgrade instructions
Download desired TWRP version
Reboot to recovery
Select Install
tap on "install image" and select the TWRP.img you downloaded from step one
select the recovery partition and install the TWRP.img to it
Reboot to recovery and confirm that the updated TWRP image is installed

Attempted fixes for encryption
unfortunately it seems the pulldecryptfiles.sh script doesn't always work and on some newer versions of EUI ROM can even fail to work at all... Importing the vendor/lib64 encryption files directly into the device tree for TWRP fixes this issue.
vendor/lib64 files pulled from 1512699115_LE_X2_X820-CN-FN-FEXCNFN5902812081S-5.9.028S
*** Please note, decryption fix isn't 100%!!! I think I need to use the Indian 5.8.019s decryption files as decryption fails when testing from indian 5.8.019s to custom Oreo ROM hmm... ***
Jan212018
Switched decryption to blobs from Indian EUI ROM 5.8.019s
unfortunately it seems the pulldecryptfiles.sh script doesn't always work and on some newer versions of EUI ROM can even fail to work at all... Importing the vendor/lib64 encryption files directly into the device tree for TWRP fixes this issue.
crypto files pulled from LE_X2_X820-OS-OP-FGXOSOP5801910121S-5.8.019S (Indian 5.8.019s) because it has encryption and it's forced encryption.
It seems Chinese EUI ROM doesn't have encryption capabilities only Indian EUI ROM which could be why switching from Indian EUI ROM to a custom ROM causes decryption to fail.
xxxhdpi screen density and support for extra languages (eg Chinese)
Heyyo, if you have problems with MTP drivers on Windows? Please check device manager as Windows messes up the device driver installation. Select it and update driver and manually pick a driver like in the example picture.

Android Ice Cold ProjectUnoffical Note 9 by OpenSauce9810
What is this?
This is the Android Ice Cold Project compiled for the Exynos Note 9. This is my daily driver as it's probably the smoothest oreo AOSP rom so far. I recommend enabling the android P animations in the settings.,
What's working?
Mostly everything, including dual speaker, home button, MTP.
What's not working?
Powering off - if you power off your phone completely the rom won't boot. You need to go to trwp and reboot to system to get back in. (I think)
Padding on status bar may be a bit close to the edges.
Let me know of any other issues.
Instructions:
Make sure TWRP has been installed and functional.
Download the latest build linked below
Reboot to recovery
Wipe data and cache (required if you switch from other ROMs). Even better if you have nothing to loose and wipe system, data, cache, storage etc
Flash the latest build (and gapps). GAPPS ARE NOT INCLUDED use opengapps 8.1.
Reboot and enjoy
Changelog:
25.10.2018 Initial Release
26.10.2018: Status bar padding fixed. Latest sources synced. General smoothness / performance improved (butter smooth now).
29.10.2018: High Touch Sensitivity Added, Adaptive Backlight Improvements, Sunlight Enhancement, Vibrator HW Improvement, Display Mode Control added to Display Settings.
08.11.2018: Synced to latest sources, S-Pen "rotation aware" fixed. Fixed an issue that was causing the phone to reboot 4 times before starting the ROM when flashing. (Unfortunately I forgot to fix the status bar padding so this is close to the edges again, will patch ASAP)
09.11.2018: Tweaked some default settings to improve experience, custom winter edition wallpaper, new boot logo. Status Bar padding won't seem to fix and idk why now. But it's not too bad on the note 9 anyway.

If you know a way to add this into AOSP Based ROMs I'll be happy to do so. But unfortunately I wouldn't know where to start I'm afraid. ?*
I asked you because it is the same as with crDroid. It is there. At least when you do a search in settings. But if you click on it it's not where it should be. see screenshot.
Btw very nice ROM. Thank you.
