There were many people who PM me for hlep. i think i own other mates in this forum a instruction to help them restore their phone.
with the help of @Blackball i finally restored my phone though many times in many bad situation.
this is how i bricked my phone over and over again and restored after .

and for last zip
example:
that named "update_full_VKY-L09_ee_gb.zip" or "update_full_VKY-L09_eu.zip" if you have read the post.
Just copy everything from right side of "/full " from link below. to download zip.
/full/VKY-L09_hw_eu/update_full_VKY-L09_hw_eu.zip
and for update_data_full_public.zip.
just add "/public/update_data_full_public.zip" at the end filelist URL, instead of doing excatly like the post, because the post was for mate9, and this one is for p10 / p10 plus.
anyway, download base HOTA and Windows/Mac/Linux HOTA and then choose your model to download HOTA then combine those files and past your 3 zips into SD card/ update (depends which way u are gonna restore).
Then, Baaaaam, your phone is restored.
Can i just update my phone without restore with this metod? if yes, how can i do it?. Thanks!

then u process the next step.
I happen to update my rooted p10 plus because of today's new system update notice.
I will be check on you tomorrow and please provide me with your phone's current status (as if it's Bricked,Unrooted and so on.).

Yes .. I put the 3 files and I run everything .. just something went wrong and installed that operating system ... and I can not get out of it...help me please...

what's inside of oeminfo/VKY/ file?
does it have all four p10 plus models?

There is not just in the folder oem the VKY files..there is just VTR ... I made a mistake in installing .. either I even have operating system absent and I have the phone that starts only in fastboot and twrp. .

install HWOTA correctly, download all 3 HWOTA files and put them together then make sure put those update.zip inside dload file inside HWOTA and make sure oeminfo has all 4 files about VKY 109 or 129 something. each of them have like 65mb. then u won't have any problem.

Not four files but five ... missing this VKY-L09ITAC555 ... so it does not find it ...

no you can't . this is a restore instruction. you have to flash system.img in order to update your phone with a rooted device.

what's your phone model? Huawei P10 Plus 64G or 128G dual/single sim?
for example huawei p10 plus 128g single sim is VKY-L09C432 and dual sim is VKY-L29C432
that means the HWOTA method is invalid for p10 plus?

i've downloaded form the official site of huawei an update for my phone which name is " KII-L21C636B130 "
this update contain 2 files which ends with .app
the first one which is the rom was 2.7 gb
and the second one was 1 kb
when i tried to flash the rom from a micro sd card , i couldn't
so i tried to flash the other file which was in a folder named as " CUSTOMIZE_HW_SPCSEAS "
my phone had turned to this :crying: :crying:
please any help because i have searched a lot for a solution and i couldn't find any
i want my phone back to it factory condition

You shouldn't flash small update.app in Vietnamese ROM because it changed your region to spcseas instead of your old region, that's why you lost your device infos
you need root/twrp to fix it
I had the same problem before and managed to fix it

If you have stock recovery put the large update.app in your sdcard in a folder dload
shut down the phone. now bootup the phone holding volup+voldown+power
when you do it correctly the phone will flash the software from the dload folder to the phone.
when it's done reboot to recovery with volup+power and choose a factory reset from the stock recovery menu
i tried it but nothing new
as i told you before, visit huawei service center and they will fix it for you
or you have to flash twrp then root your device to fix it

How update
Insert the Micro SD card into the handset and power on. After entering call -> enter:*#*#2846579#*#* -> ProjectMenu -> Software Upgrade -> SDCard Upgrade-> OK，
Important:
To return full stock consider that B103 is first official full rom. Together with update.pp you must put also this file (unzip) to have this structure on dload directory

My VIE-AL10 (C00***) has already jumped two more versions. I was on B163 over the weekend and yesterday on to B169. It is good to see some mionor bug fixes coming through as and when rather than the once or twice a month depending if your running the developer ROM.

Thats the advantage of buying China version of the Phone. Developer rom gets updates every month, while stable version gets update about every 2 months. International version gets update like maybe twice a year.

Yes it's real for official update. But I show that rom are on Huawei server. In China last rom is B168 in Europe now B160 but smartphone have customer see only B103 . This is the reason of my thread share with other rom that I find on Huawei server

great will go check later...have not even used the phone cause was unable to link it up with google contacts and google calendar which is pretty annoying as all my work contacts and appointments are linked to that.
was told there is some apps on the HW app store which allows for this will have to try it tonight. i think its called Calendar and contact sync adapter.

I haven't L29 so I can't use my tool on smartphone. I need real smartphone to capture Huawei files. Sorry for this but I'll study something useful for have this rom

No. Tool is useful only for custom rom (es. twrp, backup/restore)

Hi, mate I've see all your great work. As you can see from image decrypt work. Your reverse engine is really great. Only problem of your source is data partition backup (255 error). I've worked on this matter.

I just flashed CUST of some new rom provided for kiw-l21 as I was flashing as OTA after flashing cust rom gave error against flashing system.img then I turn on fone and
I noticed
(1) . my fone showing 1 gb of ram but its 2 gb in real
(2) . its showing 4.3 android but in real its 5.1.1
(3) . Its showing unknown in phone model area .
confused kindly help me if anyone know solution ,I have reseted many times , flashed nandroid after wiping and done all posiblities but still my fone showing wrong specification about my fone
U cant go back to Stock with a twrp backup u need firmware.. Flash Stock though dload/update.app wipe and u should be Fine..

That statement is untrue, with TWRP 5-14 you can flash special partitions. See this.

Yes! Download the latest Hicare app from the playstore, open it and click on ROM upgrade it should start . U wont lose any data/apps!

I finally used twrp-3.0.2-0-kiwi to restore my initial B140 backup, and even though the red h letter is still there, my system is now fully functional...
I really hate the way Huawei/honor are handling the updates and the update policy !!!

it's unfortunate you had a bad experience using the 5-14 TWRP version but I can assure you your case is unique and I can show you numerous cases where people restored my b151 backup to get their phone back up and running for many different reasons. Returning to lollipop from MM is not the main purpose of the backup but it does work long enough to do the dload/update.app method to get everything back to stock.
Their is an even newer more powerful version of TWRP posted by @yuweng here >> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=67851428&postcount=2 that would make it even easier to revert from MM to L without the need of the dload/update.app
I personally used this backup just to test and it worked perfectly

The Android Security update for MM B330 was simply dated May 2016 EMUI 4.0 was somewhat laggy and worse the Call recorder I got working with Lollipop was not working anymore with MM !!!
I don't know yet which Trade Mark will be my next smartphone, but I'll probably reboot to Samsung, even if it costs more... ^^

I no longer need a sdcard, I have the 32 gig note 5 and use Play Music and Amazon Prime music along with a premium Audible account for work
unlimited cloud storage for my photos and videos ... the phone typically has over 10 gigs available. (it's running stock MM for now never even bothered to root it)
I have a Galaxy Note 7 Korea ( N930S/L/K ) . Yesterday I made the crazy idea of loading the Galaxy Note FE ( N935S/L/K) software into it. In the end it gives me this result :

Come here, I can not do anything. I also can not go back to the software version of Galaxy Note 7. I can honestly understand that my machine is locked and can not do anything anymore.

But fortunately for me. I got help and got a file named Sboot.bin. It helped me get over that Korean word. But it does not help me start the machine completely.

People just load it down and load via odin
Here I can go back to download mode. But there is nothing else to do. I would like to share with you, so that everyone can study how to save this machine with me as well as other machines that are like me.
where did u got this sboot? it is loaded with new bootloader (N930LKLU3AQG7), so u need the original firmware of it. if u find this firmware (LU3AQG7), you can fix ur problem.

The sboot file is extracted from the combination. Even if there are enough sets, there is nothing to do. Because when the loaded file has been modified it is blocked

it appear at the top of the screen after i flash the sboot.bin good thing about this is the phone can now go into download mode but, if u try to flash the original note 7 firmware it will be block still...

I'm talking about the whole firmware . He has a frp lock.
I find this firmware N930SKSU2BPL2, on this website http://hoj.cn/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=3410&highlight=N930s
It should fix the problem of frp lock. But it need a code registration. If someone can register in forum and share the build?

I have it but it does not really help because it is lower than the current version loaded into the machine.

2. Power off, then press VOL- & Power to enter Rec

According to the official post all oppo phone shares the same flashing method which’s indicated here: https://bbs.coloros.com/thread-69458-1-1.html
But since currently only Chinese version firmware is available so flashing between regions is still a myth....
Hi, my friends, what's going on? Has anyone been able to actually install the international version with all languages in the Chinese version PAFM00 ?? I'm turning up the internet and nothing. My color is in version 5.2.1 and I would like to know if you already have a secure provision for this update.
I tried to flash the A. 28
official ver but did'nt work ot stopped in t he middle of the process, and then it says update failed. I did it with this method did'nt work.

Never try any of that unless you have teh cash to buy a new phone or take it back to oppo to fix.
There are posts here about trying to flash different roms that mess things up.
Wait till you have the unlocked bootloader

You can't flash The Global Rom anyway with this method, the worst that will happen is it will fail....:silly: yup I have tried...

If you read the forum, you will that one person has done what you said.
He now has to send the find X back to oppo.
Also he can't flash his original firmware.

I had a lucky escape then..... shame we can't use the msm tool for the OnePlus, then just replace the firmware .....

You can use the msm tool. If you have a login and password.
Loads already posted on this topic.
Most are waiting for the 15th to see if they are lucky enough to unlock the bootloader.

Problem is "No one HAS the password"..... hopefully someone can grab the script, as the Chinese Rom is [email protected] in general is very poor, which makes the find X very difficult to use as a daily.
I love the Find X, but it desperately needs a stock rom, or even OxygenOS would be nice yes I know that can't be posted, but anything stock would make the Find X an absolute joy....:good:
I just took delivery of my R.O.G though so I can patiently wait to see if anything does happen.....
