Many thanks! Will update as soon as possible

Is this an official AT&T version or Samsung? Just wondering if this will remove all AT&T files. I've see Muniz say this in a previous thread, "WARRNING : This are Samsung factory files and they will not get to to AT&T stock firmware. This is what Samsung use to ship they phones. You can use this only if you are in soft brick and you can't flash anything else. "
Just wondering...

Why are people ignoring this?
Why are people ignoring my above post? This is a valid question.

I am not able to flash the u version on top of this. Is it possible to flash the U version on top of this?

Thank you!
After doing another upgrade (linked below) on an AT&T S7 (non-Edge) still 'stuck' on 6.0.1, I ran into a reboot condition after a few presses on the screen.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/at...to-install-g930u-firmware-sm-g930a-t-t3609300
Gave it another go using your files, and it looks great so far.
Thanks again.
Edit: clarity + G930A phone going from (stock + OTA at the time) U1 (G930AUCU1APB4)

So far so good, thanks for the upload! Looks a little more refined and operates smoother than QA1 for me.

It's not a custom rom. It is just the stock QE1 files. It works, i use it all the time when needing to flash back to stock. Just download each file, get the latest odin, and place the files in odds correct spot on odin, put your phone in download mode and hit start.

glad I found this post, got my phone to updated to nougat.... for some reason I can't get OTA on my S7 at&t phone , check update saying my phone up to date with firmware while it on android 6.0.1

Do you happen to have the HOME_CSC version of the last file to preserve data?

Yea, I need the HOME CSC too.

Is there another host it's going to take 18 hours for the AP file from Android File Host?

How to flash without effecting the flashcount

Your tab should be set on 0 but when you flash with odin [aprt from a stock rom] it adds to the count +1 etc which if your tab breaks samsung wont then fix
You can't, as soon as u flash an unofficial ROM via ODIN, it starts counting, except if you flash a stock rom ofcourse... There must be a way to reset the counter, the device must save the counts somewhere after all. But i don't know what file it is
My counter is still 0 after many cwm flashes, but i'm not sure if samsung also flashcounts the galaxy tab 10.1, as i've never seen a flash counter on a Gtab higher than 0 yet, if anyone can proove me that i'm wrong... Show me

My flash Count is at 11. It does not count CWM recovery... So you can flash CWM and then flash SuperSU zip.
The only reason my flash count is up is due to flashing non-US stock ROMs.
Update: add photo proof
Update2: I have also done two warranty repairs to Samsung with this tab and they didn't say anything about my flash counter...

Hoeray your tab is the first Gtab that i see with an increased flash counter!
---------- Post added at 01:05 AM ---------- Previous post was at 01:01 AM ----------
Nakedninja42, so i'm guessing you live in US, so if you flash an UK STOCK ROM, your tab starys counting, but if you flash an US stock ROM via ODIN, it doesn't count?
So i can root it first using odin without it effecting the flashcount then just flash the roms with CWM

Yes, I was flashing the UK Honeycomb before it hit the US (oh so long ago). It gave me the triangle at boot and took me awhile to realize it was from doing that flash. Then I had to do it few more times for testing other stuff that I can't recall anymore. But if I flash US Stock ROM coming from anything, it does not count.

Oh unlucky :/ anyway.. You should be able to reset it somewhere... It must be hiden in a file.. there is a cwm for the galaxy note where you can easely wipe the counter just like you wipe your cashe/dalvik/data when installing a new ROM

Trust me, I searched long and hard for the solution. I talked with some devs like Chainfire to see what can be done but since its tegra2, can't find a viable solution. The dev who originally figured out the solution looked at files I submitted and it was completely different than his solution.
I heard you cant reset the counter on this tab
Mmh i'll take a look into it, see if i can find something nakedninja.... Not saying that i will find it...

A tablet is a stupid plastic thing which works with 0 and 1, drivers that tell the tab what to do, and many many maaany more things. The file that's telling the tablet how many flashes you have done, must be on the tablet, so there must be a file what you can delete or rewrite, but where...? Is the question

No the NC5 Modem doesn't work for boost. How did u get the 4.4.4 update to work for boost?
I did a "dirty" flash.
you get the update without the baseband.
Its honestly more trouble than what its worth, It will reboot 3-5 times before it loads.
I noticed when I flashed the nh7 baseband in odin, that it also loads some sort of apn update.
if you restore the original meid to the device, you will get a signal.
this leads me to believe we need to go back to the Evo days & change the NVItems

Everything runs smoothly, still no wifi calling.
Every time you reboot your phone, it will have the 3-5 reboots before it starts.
make a backup & test it out, I'd like to hear your results.

are you still having 3g issues?
Also, I've found an interesting anomaly with the modem issue.
after the MJ baseband, all the newer modems flash APNHLOS to our phones.
not sure just yet what it does, or how its attached to the MEID, but that's my find.
Any ideas?

No, the ROM contains the OF6 bootloader and will likely cause a hardbrick if flashed on any other variant as stated in the caution note at the top of the OP.

Hi I have a T-Mobile s5 stock 5.1.1 rom and everything else. I have tried using Odin to flash twrp but it didn't work even after unchecking auto reboot. Is there another method you can recommend or am I doing something wrong?

I have tried after it rebooted from Odin and without auto reboot checked, battery pull/ back in, reboot into recovery. Still the same results both ways.

What I mean to ask is can I flash the rooted version using Odin with stock recovery?
Can I use a 3 minit mod with this rom? I tried using a custom dialer and it failed. I know this rom is mostly stock so probably not but I just wanted to check and make sure before flashing.
Is it possible to upgrade firmware from DOB1 to FOF6?
Total noob question here -
I would like to remain on Android 5.0 given arter97 has made it possible for xposed to be installed on it (not yet on 5.1.1) but was wondering if it is recommended to upgrade the firmware/modem/etc.. to FOF6? Is it possible?
thanks for this
Guys. I'm new to the T-Mobile version. My phone I just bought used is already on 5.1.1. Can I downgrade via odin to NE5, root, then update to OB1 5.0, then follow the instructions to install OF6 is the instructions thread?
Also, I'm a little confused by the language in the OP. Does installing this ROM via FF trip Knox or not?
Rom works great but I thought that og6 update had the stagefright fix? For some reason my install is vulnerable and today the code to run the exploit was released.

Curious if anyone has been able to get android pay working on this. Assuming not but figured I would ask.

Did you ever find an answer on this? I'm facing the same issue.

Good morning Muniz_ri long time follower Thank you for all your time and hard work... Muniz_ri I was a G900T user and had to switch to G900A for coverage reasons... @muniz_ri I'm currently on a S6 ported rom 5.1.1 and the baseband is currently OBI(the rom is great but there are still a few bugs that are being worked out) until then I need a fully stable Rom for work.. I installed the OG6 Deodexed rom via FF as directed everything booted fine except that I have no network (I got the usual sim error from Tmo and disabled wifi calling) but after doing so I got another error that read no sim card or to insert sim card. At first I thought that I had to put in the AT&T apn I tried several to no avail...
Would you mind telling me how you got the G900T to work on G900A network, it would be greatly appreciated...
Thanks in advance for your help everyone

This is one of a few errors / bugs I've been experiencing since I've (clean) flashed the stock deodexed rom. The first being Google drive & Google play services forcing on me during setup. It occurs directly after signing into my Google account making it nearly impossible to continue. I can record this when another phone becomes available. The security issues can get shorty appeased my simply restarting my phone. But about 5 minutes or so afterwards, it's back again. Anyone else experienced this?

Yeah apparently it's a kernel issue, looking for an answer too

Sprint 6.0.1 Marshmallow PCA Full restore flashable in odin

Moved to general section here as suggested by @malbert16442
That doesn't work in Odin. It's a recovery zip repackaged as a TAR.

Hi there. Sorry that it did not end up working guys. Its not that I dont know what I am doing, its just that its been pretty hard figuring it out compared to what it used to be. Before, just a few weeks ago, on sprints website, there was a chart that told all of the build numbers and all of the patches that each build had inside of it. Now its gone. All that website is is 2 links to find a new software version or to see what version you are on. So that file posted in the OP here is all I have to base it off of. And when I threw it into odin it seemed to work fine, although I should Have tested it fullly beforehand. I was also in a rush (sort of) becuase my family is going on vacation to another part of the country as this week is April Vacation for the schools in my town. I hope you guys understand why it happened as it did, and for that, I apologise. this is the website im refering to http://support.sprint.com/support/ar...-dvc8080008prd and when I get back to my house I will retry with a linux usb as that seems to be what tutorials point to doing.
It would appear that you don't know what you're doing. The files within a TWRP/CWM flashable zip don't work the same way an Odin flashable TAR does.
You took all of the files from http://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-galaxy-s5/general/sprint-gs5-android-6-0-t3336758 & changed it to TAR. You didn't even give @djxn40 credit for his hard work. Instead you decided to give people permission to your "work" which actually did do anything at all.

I do know what i am doing. I was just in a rush and didnt cover everything a normal dev would because i was in a rush. I also did not ask permission of any devs as if you look at the main post "rom developers can use this without permission." But @djxn40 didnt upload it, @highspeedfelon did if you look through the thread, @djxn40 just moved it to the op. And that recovery file is the only file i can base it off, because if you search through sammobile, and the sprint support page, youll see the latest version is still OK4, (on the sprint site it says in the top left it was updated on april 7th 2016 but there is no table showing the build numbers and bug fixes like there used to be.) It was an attempt, and I failed, so I will learn from my mistakes. That is all. The link has been removed from the op of this post. I will do something about it when i get back home later this week as im on vacation with my family (april vacation for the town i live in is this week).

If he doesn't know how to give credit you appear to not be able to read an entire thread before flaming his attempt. I don't see you trying to further development. Your attitude doesn't help anything. I appreciate anyone attempting to help keep the device moving forward. Did he rush? Sure. Does it deserve being flamed? Not really. Take a nap or a Prozac and come back with a better attitude. Jesus.
Why does it even matter who uploaded the update.zip its a free download? I don't care who uses that update.zip or what they use it for.
Mates, why are you arguing? I have Android 6.0.1 Official. So, it is proof this exists. But this, isnt it.

This should work (please let me know if it does not. Also should not trip knox but Im guessing most people who are viewing this already have anyway . Simply Download on your PC, put your device into download mode (power off phone and hold volume down, home button and power button and let go when you see the download mode icon) and place the file in the AP slot in Odin.
LINK HERE: file doesnt work in odin, explanation in reply below. will fix in a few days when i get back. I apologize.
Rom Devs feel free to use this for whatever without asking permission.
