Hi guys, as the title itself says, K6 power has received nougat from lenovo.
Does that mean anything to us? Can we make anything out of it?
I don't know anything about those things, but you can certainly try if you know how.
Download the k6 rom, install any n-rom for land and replace drivers...

How did you root the tablet. There seems to be quite a lot of misinformation out there. Were you able to unlock the bootloader?

The Update started rolling out for the users of the Lenovo K6 Note Via OTA Some of the Users received the update. If your K6 Note is unlocked, has been rooted and has TWRP recovery Installed. You will not be able to Update Your Lenovo K6 note Officially. And If your Bootloader is locked then you can download and install Android Nougat 7.0 on Lenovo K6 Note manually. In this guide, we will be sharing both The manually Nougat firmware and modified TWRP flashable Nougat firmware for Lenovo K6 Note.
Lenovo K6 Note is flagship device of Lenovo. It has 5.5 Inch FHD IPS Touchscreen Display. Lenovo K6 Note Comes With 1.5GHz Snapdragon 430 Octa Core Processor. K6 note Powered by 4000mAh Battery. It has 16MP Rear camera with LED Flash, For Selfie K6 has 8MP Fixed Focus Front Camera. Lenovo K6 Note Comes in Two variant 3GB of RAM And 4GB of RAM with 32GB of on Board storage.
Before proceeding to the installation guide below are some pre-requirements make sure you follow all of theme.

How to Install Android 7.0 Nougat on Lenovo K6 Note ( For Non Rooted User)
#1. Download the Non Rooted User File form the Download Section.
#2. Now Save the file to your internal Storage and rename it to Update.zip
#3. Now Power off and Boot Your Lenovo K6 Note into the Recovery Mode.
#4. Now Tap on Install upgrade Package and select Update.zip. It will start the software installation process.
#5. Once it done completely, your Lenovo K6 Note will reboot and upgraded to Nougat 7.0.

How to Install Android 7.0 Nougat on Lenovo K6 Note ( For TWRP Recovery Installed user)
#1. Download the TWRP Recovery Installed User File from the Download Section.
#2. Now save the file to your phone.
#3. Now. Power off and Boot Your Lenovo K6 Note into the TWRP Recovery Mode.
#4. In the recovery menu, select backup and the take a full backup of your data.
#5. In the menu, Tap on Install and select ROM zip then swipe to flash it.
#6. After the installation done. Tap on Reboot your Device. Your K6 Note will reboot and upgraded to Nougat.
Done! Now your Lenovo K6 Note is running on the Android Nougat 7.0. If you have any question regarding this feel free to ask in comment section.

I recently checked out on internet that redmi 3s prime unofficially got project treble support for Lineageos 15.1
Which is a very happy news for us as well because the specs of both 3s and k6 are same. I request the developers to please port that rom to k6 power

Android 8.1 thread is locked because of ****ty posts like treble, android p etc on that i think. So pray someone takes k6 power for development.
