LG-K200F Root - LG Watch Style

Hello people. XDA identifies my LG phone (model LG-K200F) as an "LG Watch Style". I am not sure if this is correct or not, but guess I'll have to live with it for now...
The fact is that I want to root my phone but can't find a device-specific rooting tool. Hence, is there a generic app/tool for such purpose? I did a Google search and found Kingroot, tried it but it didn't work..
Thanks in advance for your help.

That is definitely not correct. Manually search using the My Device button. There are no root methods for the Watch Style, but there may be for your phone.
EDIT: What version of Android does it run?

Yeah the phone you have is the LG X Style, that's why XDA Labs is getting confused. I would try Cydia Impactor, if that doesn't work, you will probably need to try a sketchy one-click method.

Will follow your advice and report here when done. Thanks!

Tried to root the device with two versions of Cydia Impactor (0.9.39 and 0.9.41), Kingroot for PC (3.5.0.1157) and for Android (5.2.0.429 180), Towelroot v3, Kingoroot and none of them worked... ... will have to keep waiting until someone finds a way...
Thanks for your help, Dynamic Donkey:good:

Search on Google. The XDA Labs search is really buggy.

[Q] Root Sony Xperia Z Tablet - Android 4.3

Hi all,
I have Sony Xperia Z Tablet which I want to gain root access for.
Device details:
Model number: SGP311
16GB
Android 4.3
Build Number: 10.4.B.0.577
Not sure if relevant, but the tablet was bought in USA.
I'm pretty much a newbe here, so I would like, if possible, to get a link for a simple tutorial how to root my device.
10'x!
If only there was a search button...

Hi Felimenta97,
Thanks for your reply.
I have seen the post you've linked here before I've posted my question (I definitely know how to use the search option ) but its seemed somewhat complicated/Indirect way compare to the simple ways of rooting I'm used to from my 2 other devices (SGS3, Nexus 4)
Is there any simpler/straightforward way?
Thanks in advance!

Nope. There is no current exploit in 4.3 Sony firmware. So, you either unlock your bootloader, or do that process.
Wait till 4.4!
If I was you, I'd wait till KitKat upgrade comes out! after that I'd root my tablet

Isn't that almost always the case with updates?
Anyway, has anyone tried to root this tablet on 4.3 with Kingo App or VROOT?
10'x all for your help!

I tried with VROOT, but seems like there's no update yet. Was researching about 4.3 root methods, there a few, most of them you have to go back to 4.2 and then upgrade, but a direct root, no, I haven't found one yet :good:

I'm too waiting for root , I can't install any games:/
i hope this gets rooted. i have the MetroPCS variant on 4.4.2 but nothing works, purpledrake, towelroot, kingoroot, ioroot... none work. i want to change the density on this phone this extra large look sucks.

Does anybody know if this phone has a locked bootloader? I'm thinking about purchasing this phone from MetroPCS to get the buy one get one free deal and was wondering since I wouldn't be able to check until after I purchased the device.

kingoroot worked just fine on that firmware it is easier to replace with SuperSu and deleat kingo than king root.
I used kingroot on the very same firmware just last week and it worked fine.
Sent from my Xperia Z Ultra using XDA-Developers mobile app
Hi!
I've same firmware in my Z Ultra but in the "Rooting Status" in appear: "Bootloader unlock allowed: NO"...
Can I root it and install a version of Android 6.0 in it or not?

No kingoroot roots with no problems on lp. But download superSu app from the playstore fisrt. But you can get kingoroot from the computer run it from a computer.....

Kingoroot is still a decent root app. I have a lot of devices that is still active but it works with a lot of tablets.. sometimes you may have to run it a few times if it doesnt work the first time out. if it doesnt work after the third time may have to find another option. But i'll keep a eye out if you have a problem just bought two more devices note 5 n920c and s6 edge plus g928g starting to buy international models again..

The bootloader can be unlocked
You can find the option to unlock the bootloader in the developer options, in the settings. You can easily find tutorials online on how to turn on developer options.

And, what after that?
I was able to acces into "Download Mode" with theese steps:
1. Turn off phone
2. Connect to PC via usb
3. Wait until the big battery icon on your phone disappear (screen goes black)
4. Hold at once volume up/down and power buttons.
5. Red screen goes (release the buttons), hold volume up to enter download mode.
But is the same case, what else?; I can't find any Root file, firmware, stock ROM or anything.
If only I was able to eliminate all the bloatware!
I found at Google a supposed Stock ROM for the 5056A for use with the SP FlashTool, but it's for a Mediatek microprocessor, (I suppose it's for some Pixi model and not for this one in specific since this 5056A has a Snapdragon microprocessor) and therefore isn't possible to use that Stock ROM.
Any update to this topic?
