I literally ****ed up. No OS, No Recovery. Huawei Y6 II(CAM-L21). Help please :( - Huawei Y6 Questions & Answers

I literally ****ed up. No OS, No Recovery. My only hope is flashing from fastboot with my extracted images from update.app.
I just wanted to root my phone. I completely followed the step in this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/rooting-huawei-y6-ii-cam-l21-t3501162 aside from just flashing TWRP 3.1.0.0 because TWRP 3.0.2.0 wont work for me. Well it was working for me and when I tried to flash the SuperSU.zip it says "unable to mount /data" so i'd do my research and to fix that i need to change file system to fat and format, then changed it back to ext4 and format. It fixed the issue but i was not aware that it will wipe my os. So I have no backup for ready. I'm down to no os but i have twrp. I wanted to make my own flashable zip rom that i extracted from update.app. The flashable zip that I worked does not working. The META-INF,system.img,boot.img then archived to zip file then flash it. I'm so ****ed up i tried to directly flash the images in TWRP. Flashed the boot.img to boot partition, and flash recovery.img to recovery partition. And when i tried to flash the system.img in oeminfo, boot, and recovery partition. The file size is big and it does not work that way. So in short i flashed the stock recovery.img over my TWRP. And that's ****ed up. My only hope is flashing the images via fastboot but my fastboot cant detect my device. I'm stuck at 2 boots only. The Huawei eRecovery ( i tried to download latest version and recovery via wifi but the package wont download) and Rescue Mode. Thankk youu in advance for helping me. I would appreciate it so lot! Help me

I am using Huawei Y6 II (CAM-L21). Thank you for reply But yes I am trying to use adb and fastboot command but my computer can't recognize it. I mean when I plugged it in my computer it does not show anything and when I'm trying to enter the command (adb devices) It only shows
"* daemon not running. starting it now on port 5037 *
* daemon started successfully *
List of devices attached"
I think it might have to do something in the twrp recovery. When my twrp recovery is working it shows my device and my laptop can recognize it. When I accidentally wipe my recovery it does not show anymore. One thing I found out that It recognize my device when I'm looking into device manager. It shows in Portable Device and something F:/

I've bricked my honor 5x

Hello everyone, I'm from Poland and I've got for two days Honor 5x with KIW-L21. I want to hide navigation bar with tutorial on this forum, so I made this steps:
1. I unlocked the bootoloader- working
2. I made the root with some spanish tutorial- working
3. The phone is working, I've checked if the root is installed properly- is ok.
4. I DON'T KNOW WHY I want to made one more facotry reset from menu.
5. After I make it the phone starts only on recovery mode.
6. I DON'T KNOW WHY I wipe all of data also with system...
So there is no os or anything on phone right now. I've downloaded the official update.app from this forum to KIW-L21, putted it to folder dload on sdcard, and when I try to install It with combination power+ volume+ + volume- system says only "Installation failed".
Also I've kicked out twrp and stock recovery is booting, and when I try to wipe data, It's also saying that is problem to wipe the data.
Please help me with some issues to made this great phone alive..
Alright, I finally unbrick the phone- I downloaded extracted rom and manually flashed it with fastboot. I've found tutorial on polish site how to do it, but there is also english version of manual if you have the same problem.
It wil be great if u could post links
@Target1920. Też mam ten problem, spójrz. Zapewne masz telefon z plusa https://youtu.be/4LbChNXHgsY (I'm the same problem)

Can't you just replace the stock recovery with twrp via fastboot?
Of course

Hello @averyg here you go:
http://forum.android.com.pl/topic/205126-instalacjaodzyskiwanie-systemu-rom-za-pomoca-fastboot/
This is the polish version of manual, I will write you how to do it:
1. Download ADB and Fastboot
2. Extract to c:/adb
3. Download from this thread firmware for you (extracted version!) http://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-5x/development/stock-kiw-l24-l21-t3312684 If you have problem what firmware you have to install, take look at the back side of phone, at the down you will se KIW-L21 or 24 (or another). Copy all files to adb folder
4. Rund adb program
5. Write in the command line: cd c:/adb
6. Connect phone to usb to download mode (power and vol- combination)
7. Write in fastboot command: fastboot flash recovery recover.img (or recovrey .img, see the file and type it name) - wait for install
8. And now: If the flash is succesfull, reboot the phone to recovery (power and volume+) and wipe all data. Phone have to work.
But if flash is not succesfull, plug again usb with download mode
9. Write this commands: fastboot flash cust cust.img -wait for install
and: fastboot flash system system.img -also wait, system.img can took a while
10. Now you will enter recovery and wipe all data
11. Again plug usb cable and install firmware with those commands:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash cust cust.img
fastboot flash cache cache.img
fastboot flash userdata userdata.img
fastboot flash system system.img
Now phone must run. And wipe all data after that, cause I didn't wipe and have only 800mb of free storage. After wipe everything is ok (9,6 gb). I remember when I'm flashing cust.img some errors appears, but my phone work. So don't worry when you see some. And you know, you can make it with on your own responsibility. I don't take any responsibility if something went wrong and phone will dead. But I make everything with this points and my phone work

Download the latest firmware for your phone and extract it to get update.app.
Use Huawei update extractor to extract boot, recovery, Cust and system images.
Flash using the guide above.
Put dload folder containing update.app in SD card. Plug it into your phone and do a 3 button forced update and ypu are good to go.

Ok I'm stuck. I was stupid and didnt make backup before flashing CM13 over stock 5.1.1. I've tried everything and now I've lost twrp (stock recovery is on) and I can't enter fastboot. I've also tried method with dload folder and 2 different update files but it keeps giving error.
Any help?

OPX Remote dtb not found solution

when you update to 3.1.0 twrp recovery is not compactible with the new recovery partition so you need to flash opxstock 3.1.0 recovery so that you will be able to flash android lollipop version of the opx and reroot and install twrp.
the proccess is really simple
1)go to settings about phone and enable developer options by tapping build number 10 times.
2)enable adb and oem unlocking
3)go to the folder you have adb and fastboot installed
4)Place the downloaded recovery file there(the one FROM THIS THREAD!)
5)type 'adb reboot bootloader'
Phone will reboot to bootloader
6)type 'fastboot flash recovery recovery.img'(or the name you gave for the recovery with '.img' at the end)
7)type 'fastboot boot recovery.img'
8)flash update.zip (the 2.1.1 version)If you cannot find the link to the file comment bellow
9)flash the update.zip via stock recovery.
10)your phone is back to stock now and you are able to flash twrp recovery and root your phone now.
Please hit thanks if i helped
EDIT:Unzip the recovery file fist

Sorry I can't find the link to update.zip

Type in adb 'fastboot devices'
it wil recognise your phone
Then 'fastboot reboot'
And my phone works again, and I guess I can just restart the proces now

Ok, I solved my problem. I had to revert to an older TWRP. I just didn't know that the new updated TWRP is not backward compatible (that's bad) and I couldn't find an older one until I stumbled upon this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=69170103&postcount=45

Not at all. The point is to flash an old offcieal recovery, then OOS 3 to update bootloader.
If you already are on the new bootloader no need to do that.
if you're not, BLupdater.
If already try to flash something not compatible, you may haave to run the Mega unbrick Guide.
Same isse with E1001
I had the same issue "remote: dtb not found" when trying to use recent (3+) versions of TWRP on my E1001 One Plus X. I ended up discovering that only an old version of TWRP (2.8.7) would boot on the device. Here is the version I used successfully on One Plus X E1001 (white): twrp-2.8.7.0-6.0-onyx.img. I cannot post a link to it as the forum is preventing new users to publish external links but I have it if needed.

Honor 5x truly bricked?

What happened:
- I backed up the device using TWRP
- I attempted to install a nightly update to my device
- The device got stuck in an infinite boot loop
- The device started back up in CyanogenMod Recovery (with no apparent way to get back to TWRP to use my backup)
- I clicked on (literally) every option possible in the CyanogenMod Recovery, eventually ending with a system format
Now, the device can boot into "FASTBOOT&RESCUE MODE", CyanogenMod Recovery, and Huawei eRecovery if connected via USB when rebooted.
I have attempted to fix everything using ADB (from both the FASTBOOT&RESCUE MODE and from CyanogenMod Recovery). The device is not showing up for ADB. When I type "fastboot devices", no devices are listed. When I go to "Devices and Printers," the device shows up in "Unspecified."
I attempted to use Huawei eRecovery and that does nothing.
I've run out of ideas. Everything on the internet says to "make sure usb debugging is enabled and do x, y, z." Well, I can't
No worries, mate. Install fastboot on your PC. Download a twrp image for our kiwi. The do a fastboot flash recovery /path/to/twrp.img and fastboot reboot. Should boot into twrp if there is nothing in /system. Restore your backup.
Calm down and stop clicking on every option possible. You can still boot in CM Recovery right? Download some other ROM, wipe system and install it. Wait for about 10-20 mins.

You installed CM Recovery that's why you can't restore your backup. And of course your phone won't boot if you wiped system.

The only two recovery options is what the other guy mentioned above. Cyanogenmod recovery and fastboot&rescue mode.
I had cyanogenmod 13 on the device. Tried one of the daily updates. Completely crashed during installing. Phone booted only into 'cyanogenmod recovery mode.' In order to enter rescure mode I have to go to advance -> Reboot to bootloader.

I have cyanogenmod recovery
i'll PM U .
If your PC shows your device as "Unknown Device" and you have Fastboot+ADB+Google USB drivers installed, then follow these steps:
1. Open Device manager.
2. Right click on Unknown Device.
3. Update Driver Software.
4. Select "Browse my computer for driver software".
5. Select " Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer".
6. Select Google and on right side select Composite Fastboot Interface.
7. Click next and OK.
Your device should be recognized by now.

Please HELP!!! Accidentally flashed Twrp image to boot instead of recovery.

Hi,
I flashed TWRP recovery img file in boot instead of recovery. Now the boot fails and selecting recovery mode does not take me to TWRP recovery options. I am also unable to connect my phone via adb too. Is there any way to recover back my phone.
Phone - Surnia XT 1521.
Do you have any backup of the original boot.img?

No. Even if I plan to get it how do I flash it as adb does not detect my phone.

As per specification , your device have a Qualcomm chip onboard. Which means you have to use a Flash Tool for Qualcomm Chips like SP Flash tool (which is used for MTK Devices Of coarse).

Forgot to ask, also Check if Fastboot mode is still Accessible.
To do this , Press :【 Power Button + Vol Down 】
Fastboot mode is accessible but every option bring me to the same screen. Earlier selecting recovery mode would take me to TWRP recovery.
I tried installing Qualcomm Sanpdragon Snap Tool but it says that no port is available.
Solved
adb did not recognize my device but fastboot did.I installed the recovery using
fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.1.0-0-surnia.img

how to get back full stock

I unlocked my bootloader installes twrp and linage. What do i need to go full stock? Stock recovery stock os lock bootloader.

I will help you.
You know how to work with adb right? since you have unlocked your phone and flashed TWRP i think you have a little bit experience with adb.
first: download this zipfile:
https://wileyfox.wetransfer.com/downloads/aba80df646f39937021ef49438a629a320171121140241/aaa9dd
unzip it in the adb folder in your PC
make sure USB debugging is on in your phone and connect your phone to your PC
Optinal: open adb and type this command to make sure your device is properly connected:
adb devices
open adb and type this command:
adb reboot bootloader
now type these commands one after one (DO NOT REMOVE YOUR PHONE DURING THIS PROCESS):
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash system system.img
and wait ..
once this process is done boot to the recovery (through typing this command: adb reboot recovery
or from the bootloader) and do a factory reset
Optional: Update your phone through the adb and relock the bootloader of your phone after this is done through the following command:
fastboot oem lock
Optional2: if you don't know how to update your phone through the adb, then just relock the bootloader and update it via the phone updater in the settings.
I hope this will help you

Forgot to say:
this will delete all your files on your phone and will unroot your device if it was rooted (so don't worry about the root)

If you can get to stock recovery (Power and arrow down I think) then do a factory reset in recovery. That worked for me.
Flashed files and no errors but just wont boot stuck on wileyfox..Ive tried factory reset and also flashed other recovery files but nothing is working.
