Detailed Explanation which Rom is Better. - Xiaomi Redmi 3s Guides, News, & Discussion

Simple Difference in Between
Miui 8 vs Custom Roms i.e~ lineageOS,AOSP
Starting with Miui 8.
Miui 8.2.5.0 has a lot of features.
Features it has with stock are:-
PROS-
1-Copy OTP
2-Long Screenshot
3-inBuilt Call recorder
4-Mi Phone File Transfer(Mi Drop)
5-Inbuilt theme option (Tons of themes)
6-Dual Notification Panel option
7-Fast responsive Stock Apps.
6-App lock in memory.
7-One hand mode
8-Smart sim selection
9-inBuilt Cleaner +with Battery Saver
10-Second Space
11-Lite mode for lite usage like phone call.
12-Quickball for quick navigations
13-Mi cloud for direct System Data syncing.
14-Child Mode
15-Lost mode i.e either theft or Lost
16-Special Permission Manager
17-Guranteed Updates over Xiaomi devices
CONS-(can be fixed with Jailbreak device)
1-No advance Reboot menu
2-Weak Ram Management
3-Updates with Minor Bugs
4-Its Theme engine is buggy make lags.
5-Major Fault -
VR problem with Auto contrast mode
6-Apps compatibility is minor issue yet it is.
7-Development over Miui 8 is bit tough over stock Android.
8-Bootloader Unlocking method.
Moving To Custom Roms
PROS-
1-Nice features included in every build
2-Development is fast than over Shipped UI
3-There is always nightly builds to check out new features.
4- A new feature can be requested directly to developer.
5-Clean UI
6-Excellent Ram Management
7-Great Apps compatibility
8-New Drivers are loaded in the custom rom. Like Kali net hunter,
Dual Boot Recovery support.
9-Custom roms are for the one who needs perfection to get better towards the Usage of UI in routine.
10-No bloatwares.
11-Theme engines are improving day by day.
12-All new Features are available.
13-Multiwindow Feature
CONS-
1-Development can be stopped anytime.
So no promises on next builds.
2-Bugs these are present in Custom Roms but very minor.
3-Bootloops usually occurs.
4- Too pure roms like AOSP has least features compared to Resurrection Remix.
5-Though lineageOS uses Substratum in N builds but yes Substratum isnt user friendly and has minor bugs in it.
6-Again the problem with some app compatibilities.
7-Doesnt have features like Copy Otp,Long screenshot, Quickball,Applock in memory, call recorder and many more features that are already provided in Miui 8.
If you are a Xiaomi user then I must advice you to stick with Miui 8.

Nice

I'm on MIUI EU from the beginning.... a good alternative.
I just add ART optimization, CrossBreeder Lite, DozeGMS+ and UPM on Magisk to boost performance and battery life.

[ROM][MIUI] CosmicUI v0.6.01.125 (MIUI v2.4.20 on CM7-FXP125) (Stopped)

This ROM is no longer being developed, I have moved on to the Xperia Play. I will help as much as I can whenever I can.
Introduction
This is seriously the fastest X10 MIUI I have ever used after installing my many background apps for gaming, working, typing, browsing, everything. This is a production of my own kitchen and also seems to be 100% stable and very compatible in all my extensive tests. It is built upon FXP and MIUI UK's build of 2.4.20 (for the Incredible S). I am taking the time to research and test every small tweak out there for the X10 and hope to create a perfect stock-like MIUI ROM, which I think I have done - but I'll let you decide
Features:
- Supports many languages, including Right-To-Left
- Exclusive tweaks specific to the CosmicUI and the X10i (very snappy with multitasking)
- Uses WebKit Core and DalvikVM from FXP, providing the fastest MIUI ROM for X10 yet
- Aroma graphical installer with various options to suit your needs
- Native screenshot working with Menu + VolDown key
- Mi Button option to remap camera key
- "Performance" menu, based on CM7 Performance Menu, for setting CPU and CompCache settings
- Aroma Installer for customizing the install
Existing bugs/issues:
- Native Wifi Tether not working. Get "Wifi Tether" from Play Store, it works perfectly.
- Bootanimation Themes don't work
^ You can use standard method of replacing /system/media/bootanimation.zip with a root explorer or e.g. ROM Toolbox Pro
- Poor FPS when recording video
^ This is an issue with FXP-CM7. Don't know if this will ever be fixed since everyone is working on CM9 now.
- Pinch-zoom in MIUI Browser is broken, a side-effect of the FXP rendering engine (which is needed for the great speed).
^ You can still double-tap to zoom, I use Opera Mobile myself usually (seems faster).

Changelog:
v0.6.02.125
-----------
- Reverted from Oodie's MIUI Camera to original FXP-CM7 one, MIUI Camera breaks other camera apps and code scanners.
- Updated priority tweaks in an attempt to prevent music stuttering yet keep call lag to a minimum
v0.6.01.125
-----------
- Base updated to FXP-CM7-125, the last CM7-FXP release for X10
- RTL language support integrated, should work well.
- Multilanguage support. Some will fallback to English (should, let me know if it's Chinese) because the source translations were missing. If you want to report a missing translation, please help by finding another MIUI ROM which already has them.
- All APK/JAR files PNG optimized, zip-aligned and recompressed. Performance and memory improvements.
- Now using MIUI v1.x Camera, works well (credits to Oodie)
- Updated custom scripts/mods to work with Custom MTD in latest kCernel-CosmicMod-v3 kernel
- Fixed FC's on reboot bug from mod scripts
- Automatic-reboot implemented in mod scripts, no need for manual reboots anymore.
- New kernel randomly fixes Aroma pixel-shift issue. Strange one that bug was.
- Phone/Dialer app given high priority tweak, should help with call lag
- Attempted Native Wifi Tether fix (incomplete, different error now)
v0.5.01.124
-----------
- Base updated to FXP-CM7-124
- Finished 'Customize' option in Aroma installer, lets users change settings without reinstalling the ROM.
- Added some things to Elite install (and Elite Customization), such as "VM Profiles".
- Removed Wifi Tether from Aroma installer, get it from Play Store instead
^ I could not figure out how to fix native Wifi Tether, hopefully someone else can. Tip: Maybe something to do with the net code in framework.
- Changed kernel from original FXP to championswimmers' kCernel v01 (new versions).
^ Removed bootmanager and set recovery to Team UtterChaos Touch Recovery, it's more stable than FXP CWM Recovery
- Replaced MIUI Camera with CM7 Camera, I am not skilled enough to fix MIUI Camera for X10
- Reverted DalvikVM to original MIUI one, FXP's provided no visible benefits
^ Restored "reserveExternalMemory" functions in Gallery and Launcher2, might help battery life/performance (tested: nope)
- Reverted Vending.apk to original Market, integrating newest Play Store was causing problems (we should let it update)
- Updated CM7 WebKit/Net code injections to FXP-124
- Added "Launcher Mod" as a seperate option in Installer (in Customize, scroll-down)
v0.4.01.122
-----------
- Base updated to FXP-CM7-122
- Patched in FXP's WebKit Core and DalvikVM, MASSIVE performance and stability improvements
^ Please keep those bug reports coming, some internet functions may be broken (Facebook and Play Store work 100% in my tests)
- Fixed positioning and orientation (compass apps)
- Camera downgraded to a version with autofocus and location working 100%
^ Thanks to MongooseHelix, source: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=15307536&postcount=167
- New CosmicUI bootanimation, selectable in new Aroma installer
- New kernel based on FXP-122, updated CWM-based Recovery binary
- Automatic time/date update fixed (changed NTP server to pool.ntp.org)
- Changed default theme to Suave HD by collins521 and some others, source @ http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1330577
^ With permission of course. Using Light Version since it's more compatible. Original MIUI theme still included (just renamed).
- Updated Timezone/DST info to version 2012b (was 2010k)
- Updated to Google Play Store v3.5.19
- Added Aroma Installer with user-selectable options and such
- Integrated the MIUI Extended Settings with the ROM, selectable within Aroma customization
v0.3.01.121
-----------
- CM7 base updated to FXP-121
- MIUI Music downgraded to v1.4.22, pretty much identical to newest but with the buggy equalizer removed.
- Fixed native Screenshot
- Added "Mi Button" option under Settings > System > Buttons for remapping the Camera key
- Removed "Dock" from settings (useless)
- Changed default bootanimation (theming still not working for some reason, manually replace media/bootanimation.zip for now)
- Tweaked Dalvik VM (now much faster and more free memory)
^ Reverted some VM/swap values to CM7/FXP defaults (use an app like RAM Manager Pro if you want to tweak VM values)
- Replaced some libraries and binaries with FXP ones (seems to help stability and performance)
- Updated modded MIUI File Explorer to v2.3.7.32 (thanks again apooonet)
- "Allow purging of assets" in Performance settings enabled by default (helps RAM and lagging)
- Spare Parts, modified Launcher, Volume+ and 4-way reboot added to system ROM (Modpack no longer required for this)
^ Install the modpack now only if you want "MIUI Control Panel" and understand that it can cause issues for some users
- Updated install script with some helpful text and a cache format
v0.2.02.119
----------
- Auto HW-LED fix implemented (requires one reboot from fresh install)
- Capability (permissions) fixes
- Updated GPS settings (XTRA Server). My locks are now accurate to 3m! (was 10m)
- Gmail removed (I use K-9 Mail myself, get it from the Play Store if you want it)
- Enabled 16-bit transparency as default (fix scrolling lag)
- Changed max events per second of WindowsEvents to 26 (anything higher starts causing process saturation and decreases touch response).
- Moved swapping values to sysctrl configuration file so init.d scripts not made for low memory devices don't mess with them
v0.2.01.119
----------
- Additional stability fixes
- Replaced Torch with one from CM7, forced background to flat black color
^ Holding Home on lockscreen works yay =)
- Fixed USB Mounting
- Fixed Camera flash (video recording still slow as crap)
- Added a new offline-charging animation in the style of "Token icons", I really hate that colored candy crap See the credits for source!
- Replaced stock File Manager with the "Modified and Extended File Manager". See credits for link! Current version = v2.3.7.31
v0.2.00.119
----------
- Changed base to Incredible S (Defy's Texus Instruments chipset is too obscure to "fix")
- Performance and memory fixes
- Introduced compcache and swapping values that actually works well (unlike other MIUI's for X10)
^ Feel free to disable via Performance settings, but with a 1GHz CPU but tiny RAM I think that's a silly thing to do
- Fixed Wifi driver (custom FXP-based kernel with seperate Wifi modules required)
- Added "Performance" option under Settings > System for changing CPU settings and Compcache
^ Was first used in M&M Team MIUI v7. Thanks to Mao (M&M Team) for the custom icon
^ It is STRONGLY recommended to leave Compcache enabled for multitasking. P.S. Go Launcher sucks on RAM like a leech, if you want a sexy MIUI-like launcher with more features and an app draw I suggest QQ Launcher (it's what I use and it's top-stuff!)
v0.1.00.119
----------
- Initial test version
- Based on FXP119 and MIUI UK's v2.4.20 for the Motorola Defy (since it has an identical resolution)

Installation:
0) Factory Reset recommended if upgrading to v0.6.x
1) Flash baseband .71 if required (for X10i, this ROM is not tested on X10a)
2) Flash the kCernel CosmicMod (recommended), which is based on kCernel_v01 with 730MB on /data and OC capability, or alternatively use any FXP-based kernel (for advanced users), or the old one from 0.4 if you don't want a bigger /data partition for some reason (check my Mediafire folder). Wifi modules flash not needed. Note - CosmicUI kernel is based on kCernel, all credits go to champ.
3) Download the ROM CosmicUI-vx.x.xx.xxx ZIP (see newest version in "Downloads" below) and install in Recovery. Highly recommended to perform a Factory Reset. Also install any hotfixes after (you can reboot if you want, doesn't matter).
4) When the ROM loads, it will automatically reboot once/twice (depending on what customizations you chose).
5) If you get stuck at kernel logo after the install, repeat everything from step 1 again. Sometimes the X10 gets a bad flash.
Note: Do NOT use the old v0.3 Modpack ZIP with the new versions! v0.4 onwards use the graphical Aroma Installer that allows you to chose mods there.
Note 2: The new kernel uses Touch Recovery y DoomLord/Team UtterChaos. If you made Nandroid backups with FXP CWR on previous versions, it is 100% compatible with them. If you still want CWR and/or Bootmanager, use champs' original kCernel.

If you are updating from v0.5 to v0.6 you may need to perform a Factory Reset to fix some things. At the very least, do a "Clear Data" for any app that FC's or performs strangely after update. Please do NOT report bugs if you have not done a Factory Reset in Recovery!
Screenshots:
(These are from the old v0.3, v0.4 onwards has a new default theme in the style of screenshot 6 and 7)
Description of each, in order -
01 - Desktop
02 - Settings > System > Performance menu
03 - Showing the new "Mi Button" option for remapping the Camera key (personally I like to have it set to MultiTasking Pro)
04 - Auto-Brightness settings disabled because it doesn't exist on the X10, and a reminder to reboot
05 - Music player (working 100% now, Equalizer removed completely but fade working)
06 - My personal (heavy) desktop setup. QQ Launcher, Beautiful Widgets, Minimalistic Text, Wifi Manager, and the shortcut icons is a widget from Folder Organizer (it allows smaller grid size than stock launcher icons, and resizes icons better quality than the Multicon Widget).
07 - Quadrant Benchmark with a number that doesn't really mean much... try the ROM yourself for the real feel

All the best! Good luck!

Man, your work is going to shock us.
You know, I pretty agree that some tweaks are not really for our es209ra.
I always experienced some strange behaviors when compared to stock-based rom.

Haha, thanks... I just have a lot of free time and love the X10, time I put some skills in and give back to XDA for helping me out so much over the years.... feel free to test it everyone, I may come off as a "noob hater" with that big red text LOL but I am a nice guy.... just please understand that if you are too lazy to read or don't know how to use MIUI properly or what BETA means, be careful and don't insult me.... any help/testing is greatly appreciated...
EDIT: BTW for those wondering.... I have been using this for the past few days, fine tuning this release... I have a crap load of apps installed like I usually do, and it's responsive. Playing music in MIUI Player (with EQ and Fade disabled of course) while getting a call is fast, texting works, GPS locking is well, 3D gaming is decent, multitasking is the best I've ever seen... but I have gotten some strange "lags" after installing some fresh apps, a reboot fixed it. I think my swapping settings are a bit too hardcore. For the experienced out there, check/play my values in sysctl.conf if you like. Or just disable Compcache completely, but if you do that the Dialer and/or Messaging might be unresponsive.... I have not had a chance to test such things....
X10 is alive Thanks.
but is it ics?

Fair question I guess... no. CM9-FXP is nowhere near this stable yet, this is CM7-FXP119. [Updated title]

I would try this on Monday cuz I have to work on Saturday and Sunday, 12 hours each day(yeah yeah, it is mother's day)
(Other MIUI roms give strange behaviors )
Til now, all I have learnt is to do some minor mods on build.prop, gps.conf, vdd levels and swap2sys partition
I think this rom will be very smooth with swap2sys with swapiness zero (in fact, I am using this for stock based rom, it works well also
cheers,
L
The rom is beautiful and so far nothing has gone wrong
Is it for locked boot loader or unlocked ?
You had me at hello... lol
No really, you had me at "They are full of tweaks that are not for our device, some tweaks just don't make sense and/or cancel each other out, and they have bundled apps and mods which create more possibilities to go wrong."
I'm going to try your rom and report later (3-4 days)
thank you!

i'm 99% percent sure it's unlocked...
Many devs don't make roms for locked anymore since it was bad compared to unlocked...
Trying your rom. Getting Android Process acore stop all the time.
I am on unlocked boot loader.
2.6.29 fxp kernel
How does the battery life seem to be on this ROM?

Tutorial
Download the latest version of the rom down below,
if there's a fix for your device varient, download that as well. I will try and merge the fixes on new builds.
In order to install this rom, first of all, if this is your first time, read about it, do some research and understand the consequences. You need an unlocked bootloader, USB debugging enabled and a custom recovery. I recommend TWRP.
Copy the downloaded ROM file and copy it to your device.
Reboot to recovery mode, and use the recovery to get a full backup from your device's current system, data, kernel, etc and make a copy of said backup to your computer. Then, fully wipe Data, Cache, ART cache and system(DO NOT WIPE INTERNAL STORAGE). Then use a recovery file manager or connect the device to your computer and use mtp to delete the folder Android on your device.
Then install the rom, and if you've downloaded fix patches, install them afterwards and then reboot.
When you install the rom, the aroma installer pops up and gives you a set of options for desired Google Apps,
Samsung apps and services. For the Google Apps I recommend installing the wallpapers and Fit since the wallpapers are not on Play Store and Fit performs best as a system app. The rest can be found on Play store.
The services are Dual Sim support, SuperSU root and NFC support. However, you MUST include SuperSU in your choices for now due to a kernel issue. The dual sim support is obviously for the dual sim models and the NFC is optional since it causes battery performance issues on some devices. CHECK IT IF YOU WANT NFC TO BE INSTALLED. Finally the Samsung Apps.
The Samsung apps are Account, which includes the Samsung Galaxy Apps store and Samsung Account which is required for syncing. SAMSUNG Cloud is not included because I think it is a useless battery eating service, but if you need it let me know so I add it as an option for future builds. There are other Samsung services and apps like SNote, SHealth, One Handed Mode, BlueLight Filter, Private Mode, Gallery, Video Player, Voice recorder, MyFiles, Clipboard Service and SPen features. They all pretty much say what they are, the SPen features include air command, spen apps and Snote, and Clipboard Service is Samsung's handy Clipboard Service which I really like.
F.A.Q.[/CENTER]
My device doesn't boot up after 10 minutes of flashing the rom!
If your device's LED light is no longer on and blue, then the issue is with the Settings app, try flashing with a full wipe, restoring your EFS and if it doesn't work out, contact me. If however the blue led is still on, then try and take a log and sending it to me, with your device information.
Which files should I delete prior to installing the ROM?
The only thing you should delete prior to flashing the ROM once in recovery mode is the Android folder in your internal storage.

Amazing.Definitely i will try this. Big thanks mate.
@SIRHydarnes Thank you for your pm. Im downloading it and will let you know how it goes.

Just like you said, the problem is firstly that your device model isn't in the list I said this ROM supports!
Please do some reading prior to flashing and posting. From now on, with all due respect, I will ignore posts like this.

BlueLight Filter is kernel related and it's again because you're running the rom on another device. If anyone tries this ROM on other devices or varients and finds fixes for the bugs not mentioned, please share them so I may include them in future builds.

Back to MIUI Rom after trying AOSP, Lineage, Dot OS- back to a lot of RAM usage :(

One question team- if people can download the MIUI ROM from the official MI website, why there is a need of installing this firmware?
Is it different?
Can you guyz also realease MIUI with PICO gapps installed
I installed MIUI back because of every other rom was so unstable. I used TWRP to get back to official MIUI. have magisks too
Is there a way to DEGRADE my current Gapps to PICO?
this is to save battery and performance
I tried all the versions of miui (except chinese and I´ll never try) like official of course, miuihellas, miui.it, miuisu, miuiam, miui,eu, developer version, from a chinese forum (红米5 Plus MIUI9 8.3.18开发 主题破解 快如闪电 人脸解锁 高级设置 小爱同学 精品必刷), greatslon, minovo, miuipro, globerom and finally multirom http://en.miui.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=2278183&highlight=redmi+5+plus and this is the best version for me and it has like some of the mentioned roms a minimal gapps just to make Google runs. Play Store, Gboard and GoogleQuickSearch are the three apps for the user but you can uninstall two of them.

I too came back to MIUI after tinkering with some random ROM's , while it seems like u tried all the MIUI ROM's i do not get how you went for MultiRom instead of MiuiPro. MiuiPro has awesome tweaks and extra options built into the system which makes the Mi experience a bit flexible. Please elaborate on why you chose MultiRom and list a few of its exclusive features ( if it has some ).
I think you're looking for a lightweight option, something like Xiaomi.EU
They base their development on the Chinese beta, so you'll be having the newest freatures. They remove all the bloatware that's by default in the ROM and the set of google apps that the rom includes is really small, so the ram usage is lower and there's more free storage space.
I don't know what you're looking for, but if you really need to have just pico o micro gapps, your best choice is a custom rom. MIUI is not a light product.

Well, the last version I tried was 8.3.29, I see that now is on 8.4.19 maybe there´s some improvement but I didn´t see any special in this version before but advanced reboot, theme store is in chinese and nor on the version mentioned above, my second candidate is miu.hellas from greece and greatslon that has bigger letters in statusbar.
Maybe the main reason is the stability, performance, time to response, battery, I love customise and I have more than 100 themes (I never find one perfect) and I have 31GB free yet and the rom is fast despite of this and by last ram management; when I leave an activity and after 4 hours is there waiting for me, also is important for me to enlarge all, icons, letters, display (not so bigger) how it looks visually in aspect/ratio cause in some roms I changed display size and looks really weird or some object don´t match with the border, it looks like they are out of display.
It´s pretty hard to say a definitive "this is the best" cause it depends in the user preferences, I didn´t find any special tweak in any rom like on Epic rom (a great and really customized) that I used in my last Xiaomi but unfortunately they don´t develop for this device
Checked, MIui PRO is not yet available for my phone... or either i was unable to find it cuz every page was written in Russian.
Can anyone share a direct link for me to download and install the MIui PRO on my Redmi note 5 vince
How to revert back to stock miui(Indian) and relock the bootloader ?
To relock bootloader you don't need to flash a rom but if you want then flash the rom via MiFlash Tool (XiaoMiFlash) and choose the 3rd option to relock bootloader right down (clean all and lock)

[DISCONTINUED][ROM][9.0][SM-N950F/D/DS] Lightheart OS [30/10/2020]

Lightheart 1.0 - The key to speed.
Hi everyone. My name is Skulldron and for those of you who do recognise me, know me as the creator of Project Pixel, another one of the greatest ways to emulate the Pixel Experience, whilst keeping all the benefits of using OneUI and its stock optimized drivers as its base. Today I'm going to introduce something, different. Over the years of working on Touchwiz based ROMs, I've learnt the description of every little apk, every little permission, what it accepts and what it rejects, its pros and its cons. As a result of this experience, I have one of the best debloat lists out there, with each item on the debloat list, being tested, through extensive testing, and it goes over every file and every partition known in the OneUI OS. This exact same debloat script was used in Project Pixel, which has received positive review after positive review for how efficient and how lightweight OneUI became after the debloat. Today however, I present to you Lightheart OS, a new project that I will be building myself and updating monthly. Today I showcase Lionheart, the Lineage OS to my Cyanogenmod.
Key Features:
1. Heavily Debloated System: The debloat script that was made by me, has over 250+ debloated permissions, apks and other files.
2. Better Battery Performance due to Efficiency - With the removal of an incredible amount of bloat, along with better performance and lesser services, you should be looking at better SOTs and better standby times.
3. Kernel Power Control: With MTweaks and Magisk, you will be able to control your device’s clock speed and be able to force higher GPU and CPU Clock, when doing more intensive tasks such as gaming.
4. Better Kernel Performance - Due to the deepness of the debloat, the kernel now has more RAM and more space to be more efficient and allow it to focus on less threads at once.
5. Current October Patch with the promise of updates every month - Every month an update is released, the ROM will be updated along with it, with a time frame of 1-2 weeks.
6. Restored some stock Google Permissions - Some stock google framework was restored, such as the default setup wizard.
7. All Essential Samsung Features have been kept - All essential OneUI features have been kept alive, for the sole purpose of necessity.
8. Completely Deknoxed -The ROM has been Deknoxed and FRP lock measures have been disabled
9. VoLTE Supported
Individual Features:
1. AdAway
2. Eleven Music
3. Files GO
4. GBoard
5. Android Pie AOSP Emojis
6. Lightheart X Boot Animation
7. AOSP System Sounds
8. Samsung Gallery (Stripped Down and lightened to improve performance)
9. Samsung's Stock Camera with HDR parameter changes, debloated and additional video modes
10. SystemUI Tuner (Provides battery stats along with other useful customizations - Check QS icons and add it to QS Panel to view)
11. YouTube Vanced (Ad-free Youtube)
12. Mtweaks (Has Hardware Control - Similar to Kernel Adiutor but more tailored to Exynos)
INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS: (Backup everything first, including contacts, photos, etc.)
1. Download the zip and download the latest Magisk (ROM will not boot if Magisk is not flashed due to encryption procedures)
2. Wipe System, Data, Dalvik Cache and Cache
3. Flash the zip and flash Magisk.
Notes:
- To view Battery Stats and Storage, pull down the Quick Settings Panel and on the top right click the three bubbles button and then Button Order. Then move the new Battery and Storage icon to the Quick Settings.
- Set Trebuchet as default launcher, for better battery savings. OneUI Home was only included for its app switcher.

Downloading now so will give it a try. Thanks for the new Rom.
Very fast and smooth Rom.
Missing Samsung sync so I would recommend backing up apps like Phone, Messages, notes, calendar, etc before flashing so you can restore via titanium or another If you use samsung to backup these up as you won't be able to restore them.
I personally have installed the Samsung keyboard back on as I prefer this to Google for pen functions.
I also installed samsung store apk which allows me to update samsung apks and also assist with my Gear watch.
Defo worth a try to see for yourselves.
Would be nice to have some flashable options for those that need certain things.

Sweet. Since I've seen many users requesting for certain features back, I will make flashable zips to re-enable particular features and call them modules

It's one of the fastest ROM I've ever use. Buttery smooth, too
The lack of Samsung sync is not something to worry about. I use Smart switch and it work fine.
Thank you for this great Rom. I think there should be flashable zips like for wearable support or like for samsung sync support.
It is very good rom anyway. Again thank you very much.

Using root file manager (I use solid explorer) extract the zip and copy the folder and file in above link into Root-System-PrivApp and make sure the attributes are set to rw-r-r (as below) then reboot and select the keyboard in your settings.

Hello,
Xposed works on this beautiful rom?
I can't activate by masgik
Thanks
Great ROM. but can you make a version without YouTube vanced. The current version on the ROM is outdated so I want to install the latest version which has sponserblock.
Does root in this rom is by default. Or we can install without magisk.
I always prefer with no root.

1. Download the zip and download the latest Magisk (ROM will not boot if Magisk is not flashed due to encryption procedures)
Seems will not work , the rom itself don't have magisk preinstalled , try to install without it , if don't boot up then you need to flash magisk .
Is it clever to install custom kernel on this rom? Will i break something and is everything going to work just fine?
Thanks for the effort. Light ROMs are my favorite.
Anybody using banking apps on it? Google pay, revolut, etc?
Great ROM but he missing keyboard really gave me a hard time on the first wizard since I wasn't prepared. Could not restore all my stuff from Google account because of that and had to select all the apps to download one by one but that's OK. Galaxy store, Samsung account are missing and so the themes app but I actually don't care about themes. The banking apps and Google pay are working fine thanks to Magisk. Overall feels good.
