Hello, Redmi 3S users, as we all know CameraNextMod is available for our device. But I have modded CameraNext with some library files tweaks for better sharpness and color temperature and especially night mode. I have also changed the CameraNext icon to Xperia camera icon.
Dark video recording on Redmi 3S is improved very much
HOW TO INSTALL
-Reboot to recovery
-Select the file
-Swipe to confirm flash
-Wipe caches/dalvik
-Reboot to System

NOTES
-Tested on Redmi 3S Plus running Lineage 13.0
-Tested on Lenovo K6 running AOSP Extended
-Tested in Redmi Note 4 (mido)
-Works in Redmi 3S/Plus/Prime/X
-Video stabilization doesn't work on Redmi Note 4
-Works in MIUI also
-Caches and dakvik caches wipe is important

Does this work on Redmi Note 4 ?? i mean on Oreo ROMs ??

Hello everyone!
I flashed TWRP onto my Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 and I have installed a custom ROM (Resurrection Remix). I had to install a custom firmware (cm 14.1) and after that I was able to successfully flash the RR ROM. The problem is that I want to go install the Global version of official Xiaomi ROM with MIUI (http://en.miui.com/download-309.html), but the recovery always tells me ERROR 7: 'This ROM is for Nikel. You have Mido'.
I believe that this is caused by the cm 14.1 firmware which I had to flash.
I DO NOT have a backup, so I cannot restore anything..
Also, I have maybe a solution: I need a TWRP backup of the original Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 firmware, because I cannot find it anywhere on the Internet.
Any help is appreciated,

Write to google "xiaomi redmi note 4 mtk unbrick" you can find unbrick package which have a rom and sp and all that you need to get factory rom

May I know which custom ROM is the best for Redmi Note 4x (mido) which contains Face Unlock, Ambient Display?
and does it support Android 9 or at least Android 8?
Kindly provide the ROM link and GAPPS Link
I found many in this forum, but not sure which 1 is the best as it confusing me.

Never flash a rom that isn't for your phone or you will very likely brick your phone
Android isn't like windows, you can't simply install the same version on every phone, each rom is only meant to run on a certain device with a specific configuration.
You can install pixel experience for rn4 mido version with Qualcomm cpu here:

However I am not a newbie here , I have been tinkering with android devices , even with earlier mediatek based devices.
I have had my fair share of bootloops and stuff.
The only reason I asked this was that these both devices are literally same. Just different screen sizes(which doesn't matter much in software side of things).
They share same ram, rom, cpu etc.

Just found out , theres no portrait mode on redmi note 5/ redmi 5 plus , whereas portrait mode on rn4 works perfectly on both cams.
Beta of rn4 is more like stable , however it is not the case with note 5/ redmi 5 plus.
Redmi note 4 (mido) installed oxygen os 9.2.11 working everthing good except camera.Even camera2 api installed visa magisk but google camera also closed on startup.Anybody pls help to fix this.
For some reason, I can't install any custom rom after Android 11 on Redmi Note 4 (mido). Whenever I try, it goes to bootloop. Any fixes? It works fine with Android 10 & 11.
Edit: nvm fixed it.
