Google Voice support on Hero?

I currently have TP & I'm looking into getting the Hero. I was wondering if anything built-in (or in the Android Market) will support Google Voice. WinMo has a few apps, but none really do the job as seamlessly as I think they should. Does anyone have the inside track on what's going on w/ GV?
Google voice is in Android market

[Q] X10 2.1 baseband 55 - recommended apps

Just want to find out if we can live with the custom ROM by sticking to manufacturer's ROM.
The requirements and opinions are my own and any suggestion to improve would be greatly appreciated. I am sure there are those of you who decided to go back to the original ROM (rooted).
1. Baseband 55 (latest)
2. Which Cyanogen theme?
3. Wifi Tether for Root users (available on market place)
allows my IPAD to work while I am away from home.
4. APP2SD or Link2SD - can someone please tell me the difference?
5. Music player recommendation?
6. Animated Weather and clock (available on market place)
7. Sip client - sipdroid (available on market place)
8. Browser (standard or firefox)
9. Google sky map (market place)
10. Bluetooth for car kit (I cannot get the standard bluetooth to work with my parrot car bluetooth. It will connect but the sound isnt patched through)
11. 3G Watchdog (market place)
12. Time Mobile app
13. Dictionary.com app
14. Amazon kindle app
15. Swype / SlideIT keyboard
Of course you can recommend other good apps.
Thanks
Sasuke

[Q] Devices and apps for Android TV ?

Hi,
I'd like to buy an Android set-top box for watching IPTV, using XBMC and use several others applications (browser/facebook/Twitter/Netflix...), but I have troubles figuring out what devices will be enough for me and what apps I will be able to use with a "classic" Android remote (not a keyboard or trackpad remote controller).
Is there a way to list in the Play Store the apps that are compatible with a remote ?
I'm also confused about the new Android TV platform and the Android TV Launcher. It seems the first will only be available on some partners new devices like Sony and requires Lollipop and the latter is available for every device running at least KitKat. Is this right ?
Is it better for me to buy now a 4.4 set-top box (the Bee-link UBox R89 seems nice), or wait for a 5.0 Android TV-certified device ?
(Sorry, no links allowed in my post, I'm a new user)
Thx

iHeartRadio Android Wear 2.0 standalone internet radio

Does anyone tried this application?
It seems Android Wear 2.0 compatible and seems also that with wifi connection is possible list internet radio without the need of having a paired phone around.
Unfortunately from my country (italy) the play store states that the application isn't compatible with moto sport 2015 and I don't know if is possible to install the apk directly in the watch.
Anyone tryied?

Modding Mirrorlink into Android 12

I just picked up a new TV (made in 2021) with Mirrorlink support, but it has come to my attention that Google removed support for this in Android 9 (i think) in favor of Chromecast. Does anyone know what would be involved into implementing Mirrorlink support in Android 12 (possibly in the cast screen section like it used to work), or even with a separate APK? I have some Java programming experience if it necesary to get this working. If it matters I am using a Google Pixel 4a with 5G.
