LG Software update tool problem...

I have LG TrueHD LTE P936 phone. Got it yesterday. I was dissappointed by the android version it has 2.3.6, I expect that such a phone should have ICS at least. I downloaded the LG Software update tool and it says it finds an update. Now the update downloads installs and it says update complete, but I don't notice anything different. I ran the update 3 times and it always downloads the same file and installs it and says completed but nothing changes. Can anyone help me update my phone?

[Q] LG Optimus G Pro F240L firmware update....!

Hi everyone,
I'm comparatively new here. I have LG Optimus G Pro F240L. When I connect it with LG PC Suite through my laptop, it shows the option to upgrade the firmware. However, the download is very slow. It just reached to 35% in three hours once and 37% the second time (I have 1MB DSL connection). Is there any way that I can download the official update manually, so that my phone do not need to be connected all the time with laptop.
Need expert opinion.
Thanks

Search the guide about flashing your mobile by LG Flashtool here. You can download latest firmware ( Officials or Custom ) available to your mobile by the given links in this forum..
So that way you can pause the download and resume it later when possible. Then flash your mobile with it..
But first you need to learn how to flash.. Which is quite easy if you follow the instructions..
Thanks a lot for the suggestion.
I have learned enough and have flashed my phone with 5.0.1 successfully
I had flashed my LG G Pro F240L with 4.4.2 and then 5.0.1 afterwards. Can I again go back to 4.4.2. If yes, how? As 5.0.1 is consuming lot of battery. One more question, when I want to dial in 5.0.1, it does not accept my country code and call ends with going through. I have to remove country code from my phone and then dial. This way it works. Any idea what to do?

[H960A] Got the update to Android 7 and now it's gone...

Got the update to Android 7 and now the update notification is gone...
so:
a few months ago i got a motherboard problem --> LG fix it for me
a few days ago i got an update notification for andorid 7 (H960A30b).
i couldn't update it right away, because i only had 200MB free left...
[**]so i try it via LG Bridge and with a full wipe --> that did not work (it worked before)
[**]so i did a full reset from the phone --> i got a clean LG V10 with android 6 and since than there is no update notification for android 7 and via LG Bridge also no luck...
also i can't unlock my bootloader anymore... lg says the device-id and imei is no match...
any ideas why i can't update?
Load uppercut and lg up, start uppercut and flash the kdz from lg-firmwares com

Moto 360 Firmware Images

Since there is a possibility to connect the Moto 360 2nd via USB, I bought myself a broken watch, opened the back and soldered the USB wires.
Fastboot recognized the Watch and since I am not that familiar with android flashing I thought unlocking the bootloader would be a good idea (don't ask me why - I don't know).
Now the watch is not booting normally, neither into recovery. But fastboot mode works so far...
I think I remembered that I saw a link to firmware files in the internet a few month ago and I am trying to find it for the last 2 days but no results yet.
Has someone an idea where I can find this files? I mean they are still providing updates for outdated Motos so the files should be online somewhere or am I wrong?
Or can I flash any watch recovery to my watch?
If someone wants a solderless USB possibility I may have an Idea btw but you still have to pull the plastic ring around the backside.
I think I forgot to mention that the plan is to downgrade my daily watch back to AW1.5 or 1.6
cheers
Hello,
I just found the OTA file (version: NXH19Q) for motorola 360 2nd gen on this reddit post.
I hope it works for you.
My motorola doesn't work properly either and its stuck on boot animation.
Hi,
thanks but actually I found this link myselfe and was unable to flash it because of the stock recovery.
I got rid of the bootloop by wiping data and cache two times after unlocking the bootloader.
Cheers
Rezoran
I'll try unlocking the bootloader, i've just made the usb cable.
Thanks
Hello,
I am trying too to downgrade my Moto 360 2nd gen (42mm) to AW 1.5 or 1.6. However, I have not found any "trusted" place to download the firmware images for those versions of Android Wear.
Also, in the reddit post mentioned by danger_tweaker, the author states that the firmware image can't be sideloaded to our devices...
I found this repository: [search on Google for "rootjunkysdl moto 360 2nd gen", I am not allowed to post links since I have just registered]
It contains some images labelled with the devices' codenames (I think that the 42mm version is "carp" and the 46mm is "smelt", I have no idea what the "bowfin" is), but I am not sure about how to proceed... I am afraid of bricking my watch.
In the meanwhile, have you made any progress?
Thank you

Cannot update to android 11

Hi everyone,
I have been trying for months to get my dumb Moto G power (2020) onto android 11. I know its available and my phone keeps saying I am up to date with a Jan 1 2021 patch...
I have factory reset, I have downloaded the stock image and installed it via fastboot, no dice. it wont boot after.
I have the US retail version. Anyone know why my phone cannot update? Lenovo/Mototola support gave me the crap line that not app phones get the update at the same time. Even if I cannot get Android 11m I know there are newer security patches that should be pushed out. Any ideas on next steps to figure this out?
