Medion Lifetab P10505 TWRP and Root - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Finally ported TWRP to the Medion Lifetab P10505 with working touch.
No guarantees are given, if you damage your tablet, all you do is on your own risk. I have the original ROM from Medion, if you need a full restore.
Please note that the TWRP recovery was not much tested and may be buggy. I didn't test with encryption or the restore process.
Please follow these steps:
1. Download all the files from Mega:
https://mega.nz/#F!pvQCQCxL!dfCHhGkliNSj-Wd3NcRV2ghttp://
2. Unpack all files into the same directory
3. If not done already, install the Intel Driver Package and reboot your PC
4. Unpack the ADB Tools into the directory
5. On your tablet go to your settings and enable USB debugging in the developer options. If you don't see the developer options menu under settings, goto about tablet and tip the build number seven times fast which will reveal the Developer options in the Settings.
6. Copy the file UPDATE-SuperSU.zip to your tablet (via USB or to memory card)
7. Switch off your tablet
8. Press and keep pressed the On/Off button and Volume Down button until you see the bootloader menu. Please press the buttons at the same time.
9. Now connect the table via USB cable to the PC.
10. Open a command window on your PC and change to the above created directory .
11. type the command: fastboot oem unlock (you can lock it again after the whole process if you want)
If this doesn't work goto the below section: Install recovery through flash
12. next type: fastboot flash recovery final_P10505_working_TWRP_3.0.2.0.img
13. Use the volume up or down button until Recovery mode is displayed.
14. Press the On/Off button shortly to start the new TWRP recovery menu. Please be patient until it fully loads. May take a couple of minutes.
15. Now choose install from the menu.
16. Proceed to the folder where you store the UPDATE-SuperSU.zip and select the file and swipe to install.
Note: If you forgot to copy the file to the tablet you can use the windows explorer to copy it to your tablet. There is a new device called Vi10 plus
(as mentioned it is only a port not build from source)
17. The Zip file should install
18. Use the back button to go back to the main menu of the recovery and select reboot and then system.
19. Now you have rooted the device and can create backups in the TWRP recovery.
20. To verify use any root checker tool from play store.
21. Feel free to hit the Thanks button
Install recovery through flash:
If there are any errors you can download the original ROM from Medion.de. You need then the Intel Platform Flash Tool Lite to install the ROM from Scratch (all your data will be lost).
When you run the flash tool, open the file from Medion.de and it will unpack the zip-file in the folder C:\Users\Your account name\.flasher\.download\p1050x-6.0-factory-v2.3
Proceed to the folder Just rename the file final_P10505_working_TWRP_3.0.2.0.img to recovery.img and replace the original file from Medion. Then hit the flash button.
Actually the Intel tool will perform the same command as above.
PS: I read that P10506 is hardware like the same as P10505, so it may work there as well, but no guarantees.
PPS: Credit go to the creators of the TWRP file for the Chuwi Vi10 plus (Highbook), which I don't know their names.

thank you for this, I used it on my P10506, the only difference was thead the command in section 12 has changed to:
fastboot flashing unlock

Cooool!
Did everything on my P10506.
Now waiting untill booting is finished...... CHECK!!
Testing with a root checker........ CHECK!!
That is great!
Thank you!

You're welcome,
but surely room for optimization of this tablet. On mine it happens after quite some that it becomes very laggy.
Hope yours is running better.

I haven't seen any custom roms for this tablet, but I actually didn't look much. The problem is that it is nearly impossible without sources to create one.

any new mirrors available? mega zip file offline...

P10506
Thanks for the wonderful news! If anyone (Bernie?) could make the files / TWRP image available again, they'd make me and the previous poster even happier
Looking to root and TWRP my familys two P10506s - one still on 5.1 - should I update it to 7.1.1 (last available image from Medion) first?

Download Link
Somebody here who have the files available and can upload it again?
Would be great.
Thanks

How to ROOT MT6580 Lollipop 5.1 Based Rom?

Hi,
My mobile name is "Walton Primo-GF4" it's Android version Lollipop 5.1 and Chipset "MTK6580" I want to ROOT my phone!! I also tried many kind of ROOT Apps.. Like: Framroot, Kingroot, iRoot, Baidu Root, A-Key Rootmaster etc but all apps didn't worked!!
NOTE: MY PHONE ALSO UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER
My Acer tablet runs Android version Lollipop 5.1 with CPU MTK8151. I also tried many kind of root Apps including Framroot, Kingroot, and Kingo Android Root but none of the apps worked. I would welcome any suggestions.
How to install and recowery TWRP ROOT - as I do.
On the drain insertion rekaveri I did not run after the entry androyd lying belly to the top with an exclamation mark.
1) Put Flash Tool 5
1.1) Put the USB driver on the PC (It is advisable to disable the driver signature verification in windows- google to help)
2) Download Recovery - TWRP
3) Fail scatter
------ = 2.3 points lozhish files in a separate folder ---
4) I can not remember without root works or not, but just in case I will write. If you need a backup of your phone (need Flash card gigs 4-8) is placed on the phone titanium backup - you come - Click on the second tab (backups) from the top of the icon sheet daw - choose "Make RK entire user software." move to backup to a different folder, and once again do but to "make all RK custom software and system data" - this just in case.
5) Turn off the phone
6) includes a program Flash Tool
7) specifies the path to the file scatter
8) Should Fail recovery stand daw
9) Put Download only
10) Press Download
11) Connect the power cord to the body.
After excluding telephone (ALWAYS !!!!) Press VOL +, and ON. together, should see boot menu, select the button and press the + recovery - to go to TWRP
In the TWRP - press "backup" in the next window, you put all the jackdaws and snap your top do not remember exactly where, but there you can select the external sd card to record backup. and backup for 10 more minutes.
All of us do not care at all, you can do what you want =))
Then do in TWRP reboot in normal mode (need WI-FI), should appear with an offer to make a root or not to do - disagree. body boot turn on the 'Net WI-FI and start downloading the patch for the root, then as a patch will be downloaded will choose the menu that appears after installation TWRP, body restarts itself do everything.
ALL! Ruth received.

Try downloading latest MTK droid tool and see if it detects your phone. If it detects, then you could just root by clicking root button. If you do not know how to use MTK droid tool, just search for the instruction on XDA. Pretty easy.

Help! New! Star Wars Nabi

Hello All! I'm sorry, I'm very new to this. Can someone please point me in the direction of instructions that I need to follow in order to root my son's Star Wars Nabi? I'm not sure if it's a nabi 2 or not.. I can't find that anywhere. We just bought it for Christmas. The internal storage is used up and the games won't move to the SD card - so, I figured my only option was to root it. There are so many pages out there with root instructions and I'm not sure which ones to use. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What is the name of the device in the "about tablet" tab in settings?
It's probably closely related to the nabi2S of i were to guess. You can either try a root method like Kingo root or a TWRP method. Since you are the first person I have seen here with a Star Wars I don't have all the answers.
-If you use Kingo there is no backup to help you if something goes wrong.
-If you use TWRP method there may not even be a version of TWRP that will work, and initially you will not want to install TWRP but run it from ram. So the commands will be a bit different then what you see on the forums. With that method though you will have a backup.

It doesn't have a name :/ It has a model number (SNB02-NV7A), an edition number (SNB02-NV7A-US-SW), android version (4.4.2), a kernel version (3.1.10) and then a build and hard ware number.
I appreciate the advice though. Thank you!

SNB02-NV7A is the model number for the NABI2S. It's likely the Nabi2S TWRP will work for the tablet. To use it though you will likely have to unlock the bootloader and that will erase all your personal data on the tablet. It's the safer method since you will have a backup of your tablet, but will require you to get your hands dirty.
You can read through this http://forum.xda-developers.com/nabi-2/general/nabi-information-t3229119 and see if it's something you want to try.
Using the above linked thread as the basic outline, in general you would:
-Setup adb/fastboot and the windows driver.
-Unlock the bootloader(wiping all personal data on tablet)
-"fastboot boot" NOT "fastboot flash" the Nabi2S TWRP recovery to the tablet RAM.
- backup the recovery, boot, system, and addon(preload) partitions. Then you can always recovery the tablet if something goes wrong, and help others that need to recover their tablet.
-Download SuperSU and flash from TWRP to obtain root.
I can help with more detailed instructions but if it's something that seems uncomfortable to try then I don't want to type it all out. Again a kingo root or other root method will likely give you root, I personally like having a clean backup before beginning and there is none in existence yet.
Thank you so much! I am absolutely willing to try it. I can't do much worse to it then the state it's already in.

Again the Nabi general information thread is going to be the biggest help in understanding what needs to be done. That information is here http://forum.xda-developers.com/nabi-2/general/nabi-information-t3229119 The procedure below isn't as long as it looks I tried to add some troubleshooting stuff along the way.
Best to have a mircoSD card for this well at least 4GB. Start with the microSD in your computer if possible.
1) First you will need to grab all the files you need:
-Drivers: Refer to drivers section #4 in the General Info Thread. Your choice if you want to try PDAnet, NabiLab, or Universal Naked Drivers. The NabiLab drivers are self installing and work pretty good in a lot of situations but not always. Download which ever one you choose to your computer. I'm going to talk about Nabilab and Universal as first resorts, we will revisit PNAnet if you are having driver issues.
-ADB and Fastboot tools. Here it's best to refer to section #6 in the General Thread. Specifically:
Download and install this package(pay attention to where you install this as you will likely need to put files in there later): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317790
From your start menu select "Minimal ADB and Fastboot" this should open a command prompt where you can type commands
If you didn't pay attention or forgot where you installed the files, at the command prompt that opens type "explorer ." The period is important, explorer <space bar> and a period. So type what is between the quotes.
-TWRP for the NABI2S. Get that file here: TWRP for Nabi2S
After this step you should have downloaded 3 files and the ADB/fastboot files you should have installed. That leaves the remaining 2 files. One should be NABI2S_TWRP271.img, copy that file to the folder where you installed ADB/fastboot(remember you can find that folder by selecting Minimal ADb and Fastboot from your start menu and typing "explorer ." as explained above.) The remaining file is the which ever driver package you picked. If it's universal naked extract the zip file to a place you know. If it's Nabilab drivers go ahead and install them. PDAnet we will try later if these 2 don't work.
2) Boot the Nabi to fastboot with the USB cable plugged in to your computer. Also open device manager on your computer so you can see when the interface comes up. I don't have a Nabi2S so this may be not exactly right. Start with the tablet off. Press and hold the power button AND the vol up buttons at the same time. At some point you should boot up and have a small text menu in the top corner of the screen.(If that doesn't work try power and vol down buttons). One of the menu items will be fastboot protocol. You will want to highlight that text using the volume keys, and then select it using the volume keys.(again I an not sure which is which. Vol - might change which is highlighted, and vol + will select that line, or vice versa, remember which does does what as you will need it later on). Keep trying combinations or timings if it's not working. When it's right your computer will acknowledge a new device plugged in and the device manager screen should show a fastboot or unknown interface.
3) Getting the drivers working. If you chose the Nabilab drivers they should automatically install, and in device manager you should see and item called Android device, and when expanding that entry some bootloader or fastboot interface(When you see this you should be done with this step). The tablet will also switch the text on the screen to say something like "continue", "bootlader", blah, blah. If you went with universal naked drivers this is where you would locate the unknown or fastboot device with the yellow exclamation mark and manually install the driver by pointing them to the folder you extracted(There could be driver signing issues depending on which version of windows you are using. You will have to google "disable windows driver signature enforcement", but basically you will reboot the computer disabling driver signature enforcement. Hopefully if you picked the Nabilab drivers and they work on your computer this step will be pretty painless and not as long as it looks.
4) Unlocking the bootloader. If you have the command window open now great, if not from your start menu select "Minimal ADB and Fastboot" this should open a command prompt. REMEMBER this step will erase all you data on the tablet, game saves, pictures, etc.
Get ready to acknowledge some text on the tablet itself as you have to be pretty quick using the volume keys to highlight and select(Same function as what you noted in step 2). At the command prompt type:
Code:
fastboot oem unlock
OR
Code:
fastboot -i 0x0489 oem unlock
On the tablet some text will pop up asking yes or no do you really want to unlock the bootloader? The selection is made with the volume keys. You should see some confirmation of erasing tablet and completed.
If this step isn't working when you type the command i.e. "waiting for device" the drivers probably still aren't installed correctly. If something failed in this step you may be forced to reboot the tablet and get back in fastboot mode(step2)
5) Install TWRP. With tablet in fastboot mode. Type at the command prompt:
Code:
fastboot boot NABI2S_TWRP271.img
or
Code:
fastboot -i 0x0489 boot NABI2S_TWRP271.img
If you are getting file not found errors the NABI2S TWRP file isn't in the folder. If all goes right the tablet will boot to TWRP. This is where we may have problems as I'm not sure if the NABI2S TWRP can boot the Star Wars Nabi. If it's not booting then we are pretty much done at this point...
6) Getting SuperSU(root). If the tablet booted TWRP. Download this UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip. Copy that file to your microSD you have inserted in the computer. When that is done safely eject the card from the computer and put it in the tablet.
7) In TWRP select the "mount" tab and check MicroSD(external storage) and the check box should become checked.
8) Make a backup. Select the "backup" tab in TWRP. You will have the options to backup "recovery" "boot" "system" and "preload(or addon)" select all 4 of those. Then select the backup location as MicroSD(external storage). Swipe to backup.
9) Only if step 8 worked install root. Select the TWRP "install" tab. Back out to the highest level, and find external_storage. The UPDATE SUperSU zip should be there. Select it and swipe to install.
10) Only if the step 8 and 9 worked go to the "reboot" tab and reboot. If they didn't work. Press and hold the power key until the tablet shuts off, and we can troubleshoot. If you rebooted the tablet will take a long time to boot initially since you wiped the tablet and it will have to rebuild data. You can then reset up the tablet.
11) Get superSU from Play Store and verify root.
12) If all this work your backup will likely be a benefit to future users so sharing it might be something to consider.
Well.. I followed everything above and it all appeared to work perfectly - however, I still can't access the microSD card to store games. Any ideas?

Are you using an app to do this(like link2sd)? Or just hoping root alone would allow you to do this?
I was hoping the root would allow me but I take it that's wrong, lol.

Haha. Understood. You do need root to do it, but root is needed for the apps that can make it possible. My kids never had the problem when they had their old Nabi2's so I'm not as much help on the "how to" portion but I understand how the apps work. Read through this thread to gain some understanding of what it takes now that you have root. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2086338
There is another way also where you stop using internal storage altogether and use an external by editing the ramdisk but it has some limitations as well.
This was awesome i have the same star wars edition and everything works well i even made a backup which i can post and i used the 3.0.1.3 kernel backup to restore the tablet and it still worked

[GUIDE] Root and Xposed for Asus TF103C (Lollipop)

Hi guys,
I'm new on the forum but I follow you for a long time.
So, my purpose is writing a detailed and simply to read guide to Root and install Xposed on tablet Asus TF103C under Lollipop 5.0 update.
I've tested the following procedure and it works for me.
ROOT
1) enable USB debug in developer options
2) download "ZenFoneRootKit_20150528.zip" and extract it
Download link: ZenFoneRootKit_20150528.zip or just google it
3) with tablet turned on, run Root.bat in the folder
4) the device will reboot in fastboot and root automatically, it may take few minutes
XPOSED
1) Download "xposed-v85-sdk21-x86.zip", "xposed-uninstaller-20150831-x86.zip"*, "XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk" in INTERNAL memory of tablet.
Download links:
FRAMEWORK
UNISTALLER
APK(source: XDA forum)
2) Download "Temporary TWRP.zip" (temporary recovery) and extract it in C:/ on PC
Download link: Temporary TWRP
(source: 4pda.ru forum)
3) Enter in fastboot (press DOWN button+POWER untill Asus logo appears, then keep pressing only DOWN button)
4) Run "Launcher.bat" located in Temporary TWRP folder (extracted previously)
5) Temporary TWRP recovery will start on device:
Allow modifications when asked you
Enter in "Install" section >
Explore manager, find the folder where is xposed-v85-sdk21-x86.zip > select and flash it
reboot system
6) After optimizing apps, install Xposed apk ("XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4")
*in case of bootloop, repeat procedure flashing "xposed unistaller" instead
I hope this could be useful.
List of stable Xposed modules
Here below a little list of Xposed modules that work for me on Asus TF103C under Lollipop update:
BootManager
EnhancedToast
GravityBox [LP]
Greenify
Lucky Patcher
MinMinGuard
Native Clipboard
NotifyClean
Youtube Background Playback
Network Speed Indicator
Working like a charm :victory:
Thanks again!!! :highfive:

This link requires a decryption key. ....
Edit: Google the file name and the first result is a GDocs link that worked for me.
Sorry for the incovenience, I've just updated Mega link, now it doesn't require the decription key.
So, i did all the steps to root it, but in fastboot it only shows "FASTBOOT CMD WAITING...", and if i connect it and THEN open Boot.bat, it shows "no valid installer medium found site".
Any suggestions? I need to get the junkware out of it, and optimize it a bit :C
Ah, and in the CMD i get this:

How to change Mibox 3c MDZ-16-AA to stock android TV Launcher

Hi everyone, I recently bought a Xiaomi Mi box3c and was very disappointed with custom rom and the interface that it came with on it. So surfing the web there are a few tutorials on how to change it and I tried a few but they are not that great either, till finally someone patched the stock android TV Lean back Launcher for it, it took some tinkering but I got it working, this may not be the best way but this is how I did it form the start. This is not my work, I just followed instructions and I have gathered them here. As I am lazy Im not gonna provide pictures for every step but it’s pretty straight forward.
For using some the apps during the process you will need usb mouse cause not every apps supports Mibox remote configuration
As I am a new poster I am not allowed to post any links so change every dot word to an actual . for the links.
1. Turning on the Box and Changing to English
1.1 Download this apk provided by Xiaomi veterans on forum, it’s a shortcut to the stock android setting
drive dot google dot com/open?id=0B16bkj0QSkYnc0k2UUFTU05vSHM 1.2 copy the apk to a normal usb flash drive and connect to mibox and install the apk
1.3 Run it and now you can change the language as in any android device.
2. Downgrading Firmware
All of the root options available for this device are for the older firmware so you need to downgrade the device. (it’s much easier than it sounds.)
2.1 Download the original firmware for MDZ-16-AA from this link: (both are the same thing)
yadi dot sk/d/Yvr1jYflm6GZR androidfilehost dot com/?fid=745425885120695554 2.2 Extract the contents of the downloaded zip file to a formatted usb tick (Fat32). (There should be two files: xiaomi_update and update.zip)
2.3 Put the USB flash drive in your Mi Box and boot in recovery
(How to boot into recovery: Unplug power > press and "hold back + ok" button while plugging the power back in. The remote should be nearby and facing the box. Do not let go of the buttons until it booted in recovery. for some devices its "home + menu" button instead of the previous one.
2.4 the flashing should start and finish automatically. don’t connect the device to WIFI after this step until you have disabled the intelligent update.
(Credits to passerby on xiaomi.eu forums for the guide)
3. Rooting the device
I tried almost all of the rooting apps, none of them worked for me but I have seen people insisting that permroot works for them so I put the link for that, using it is pretty straight forward, download, install on device and try to root with it.
but in case that doesn’t work Kingoroot Windows app will definitely work. this is how to root with kingoroot. For this method you need a USB type A --> USB type A cable.
3.1 First download the kingoroot desktop app from their website
3.2 Install the app on your windows desktop
3.3 Go to your mibox device setting (mibox setting not android stock from part 1) and in Security setting and Enable USB/ADB debugging, device will restart for this setting to change.
3.4 connect your mibox to your desktop and wait for the device to be installed and recognized by windows. (If you are using windows 10 it will detect the device by itself)
3.5 Run the kingoroot app on the windows and let it detect the device, as soon as it detects the device root option will appear, click on root option it and wait
3.6 Kingoroot will try to install an app on your mibox, allow it and then this will continue and finish the rooting process.
3.7 Disable USB/ADB debugging, so you can connect USB Flash drives to the device again.
3.8 Check for the root stastus with rootchecker.

4. How to flash TWRP to device
4.1 download the TWRP App from this link:
dl dot twrp dot me/twrpapp/me.twrp.twrpapp-18.apk 4.2 Download the android ROM and TWRP image together from this link:
goo dot gl/q5DGED password : Mibox2015 4.3 open the zip file and copy this image file to your USB Flash drive
MDZ-16-AA-AndroidTV-V1\TWRP-RECOVERY\twrp-mdz-16-aa.img
4.4 Connect the USB flash drive to the box and copy the image to device storage
4.3 Install the TWRP app on the device using the USB flash drive
4.4 Run it and select first two boxes.
4.5 Go to flash TWRP option and wait for app to ask permission from SU, grant permission.
4.6 Select TWRP flash and select flash from image. Select the image that you copied to device storage.
4.7 Boot into recovery (by this time you have root access and it’s better to boot to recovery with one of the reboot apps ex. Quick Reboot)
(Now you have TWRP, but the problem is every time you reboot the box, the stock rom overwrites the TWRP files and it goes back to Default recovery, to solve this we need to replace the Rom itself too)
5. Replacing the Rom
5.1 While still in TWRP page, make a small boot backup just so TWRP makes a folder in storage of your device.
5.2 Reboot the device from TWRP (reboot system)
5.3 Now using a File manager (I used X-plore) copy the Rom folder to the same backup folder that was created by TWRP in your storage.
Copy This folder:
MDZ-16-AA-AndroidTV-V1\TWRP\BACKUPS\11608V180037788\2014-12-31--18-01-42_6.9.7.949
To this folder: (Which is already should be there created by TWRP)
Internal Storage\TWRP\Backups\ (your device’s Serial number)\
5.4 Repeat steps 4.6 & 4.7 again to Flash TWRP again, after booting to TWRP go to restore and select file (2014-12-31--18-01-) to restore, swipe to restore and wait for 10-15 minutes
5.5 After restore is done don’t reboot, go back to TWRP main page, go to Wipe then advanced wipe, select Dalvik, Cache and Data to be wiped. After wipe is done reboot system
5.6 When android system boot is complete, go to setting down below and change the language to English and its done.
I hope it helps

I tried to downgrade my MDZ-16-AA device with the MiBOX3_jurassicpark_gitv_1.3.106.386 file ... but it brings it down only to 1. 3. 114 and not to 1. 3. 106.
Secondly I do not get "ADB Debugging" option. Hence I cannot connect my Mi Box to my laptop.
Can anyone help ?

Add widevine drm in MDZ-16-AA
To complete your notice, I found a way to launch MyCanal and molotov.tv (not tested for netflix yet).
As you know these apps requires widevine drm.
First download
extractor 4.0 and Xiomi 3S official rom
Then extract update.zip and add in root folder of extractor: system.new.dat + system.transfert.list.file_context
Use Extractor.bat to uncompact system.new
On folder go on system\vendor and copy paste lib folder on USB key.
Does anybody know how to go to recovery mode?
HOLD Back + OK and Home + Option doesn't work for my MDZ-16-AA
the system has been automatically updated yesterday.. :crying:
Thank you so much, I got it installed.
Step 1 can be hard because of the chinese language therefor I used this link:
https://www dot cnx-software dot com/2016/04/12/how-to-change-language-to-english-and-install-apps-remotely-on-xiaomi-mi-box-3-enhanced/
at step 2 I made the mistake that I extracted the update.zip aswell. while I needed to keep it zipped.
I used the app RUFUS to make the usbdrive a FAT32 drive.
at step 3 Kingoroot worked for me, although I needed to restart several times to make the ADB debugging connection work.
at step 4 sending the TWRP files, was a bit of a hurdle. It wwas not possible for me to copt them from the USB stick with ES file manager to the device. I needed to use the USB cable to my computer (ADB off) password: "@mibox2015"
At point 5 I was not able to use my remote or keyboard, I needed to turn off ADB!
At the end allot works, but there is still some bugs:
- MIUI still present. eg. when connecting an usb stick you get a chinese menu. and you are able to get into the old system menu
- unable to get NETFLIX to work
- allot of bloatware, apps I can not disable or delete.
- im unable to disable search by microphone in the UI, which is not supported by the remote of the 16-AA
- im unable to edit the tiles in the homescreen to eg. hide the supersu, market etc. and to put PLEX of KODI more in front
Thanks!!!!

I successfully rooted my mibox 3c (MDZ-16-AA) and installed TWRP app and Android TV.
Now I want to go back to the Xiaomi Original Firmware (1.5.25). I tried to use TWRP and the Update.zip, but it did not work. How can I do it? Many thanks!

I read from a Chinese forum that the 1.4.32 can also be rooted. As far as I know the Android TV is based on the 1.3.106. Does it make any sense to root the MDZ-16-AA with the firmware 1.4.32 and install the Android TV then?

Hi, were you by any chance able to get a copy of these files ,Please upload if posssible
The original links are broken and the internet seemed to wipe all traces out, I'm looking for the N20_utils and possibly the Disable force encryption one
Good day
Had the same problem, (English not so good but I know you'll understand). What I did was just installing Corvus OS rom, the 11th version. It's been quite a while since i installed it.
Tried Lineage 18.1 and adding the smallest gapps available, but everytime i get code error 1. I guess it was the twrp 3.3 version i used cause some roms requer the latest TWRP versions. The lineage is installing just right nd can reboot to system with no hiccups.
None of Android 12 gsi versions has ever been able to installed. Cause when i try to install, i get the error of "file too large for the target partition. Tried everything from the net to increase the system partition to at-least 3gig. No success.....
Is anyone who can help to install android 12 even beta version will be ok for my N20 Doogee??
Thanx

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/18B-srDVia_H4aDt7uvCDUxg2e4R5kVVY?usp=sharing The file is of type .exe and that extracts when you run on the pc, the problem is that I was suspicious about the virus so I threw the file in the total virus (if you don't know what it is, just search) and 6 programs pointed it out as malware but many others didn't find anything including karpersky and bit defender, there to make sure the files were there i renown they from .exe to .zip and I looked and the files really were there but as I don't want to take the risk I didn't extract and I didn't even try anything. The file that fix the encryption are inside doogee n20.exe, the guy said it will be in .exe and when you run it extracts the file in the C folder of the computer I recommend you to rename it from .exe to .zip because if the file have a virus you can screw your pc when running

Good day
Had the same problem, (English not so good but I know you'll understand).
Thanx
