Excellent ROM. +++
There are not enough volume steps, developer options are not available.
Pros - an excellent launcher, smoothness and speed at altitude

Actually I use this ROM now in several days. My device is X820 6/64. Antutu around 150000. Stock kernel. Modem CN. Fingerprint works flawlessly. Battery time fits my needs. Buggy development option. Installed ART optimization module in Magisk. So far so good.
P.s Fingerprint doesn't work in some apps, working with others. Thanks OP. Great work.

Can you specify the apps where FP isn't working?
Thanks everyone for testing! I like a lot this ROM, it's very fast. About the developer options I'll try to fix asap, I'm on holidays until Sunday.

Absolutely. That app is for a big bank in my country: Nordea app. Here user can use fingerprint to login, but in this ROM it crashing all the time. I had not this problem with other costume rims like DU, RR. Fingerprint has bug in initial ROM setup as one other user mentioned it before. And relax, take your holidays first, we are almost always here. Cheers, dr.cybermo

1) Make sure you have root and TWRP custom recovery installed. Also make sure you're not on stock 4.4.4. If you're on stock, then follow these instructions(replace the CM12 ROM with the ROM download link given below to flash CarbonROM)(If you're following these instructions, then no need to follow steps 2,3,4 etc. as they all are the same)
CM11 zip: https://download.cyanogenmod.org/get/jenkins/90775/cm-11-20141115-SNAPSHOT-M12-ghost.zip
2) Download CarbonROM zip and GApps zip of your choice(5.1.x only!)
3) Reboot to recovery and take a backup of your current ROM.
4) Flash CarbonROM zip and successively the GApps zip package.
5) Wipe cache/dalvik cache x2 times.
6) Reboot phone and voila! Carbon is ready to rock.
Instructions for xt1052 users:
If you're unable to flash the carbon rom zip due to an updater-script error, then follow these instructions(you can view the zip's contents on your phone or on your computer):
1) Open/view the zip package using WinZip, Root explorer or any other computer/phone zip software(open it, don't unzip it!)
2) Go to META-INF/com/google/android. You will see a file named 'updater-script'. Open it with notepad++(or any editor of your choice), and delete the starting lines, so the first line looks like this:
Code:
ifelse(is_mounted("/system"), unmount("/system"));
3) Save the file in the zip and then flash the ROM zip and GApps zip packages. It will flash properly this time.
4) Now reboot your phone and voila! Carbon is ready to rock!

Curious about this, I have always heard this was an awesome ROM but haven't seen it for the N6. I've been watching and have to say this seems to have popped up out of the clear blue - was not expecting Carbon, official or unofficial, anytime soon for this device. Anyway, I looked through github and saw OmniSwitch in there, but no mention of it in the features list. Does this first build have a working OmniSwitch by chance or did that not quite make its way in there? Everything else I could possibly want to know appears to be in the features list.

Nah, no omniswitch yet, will be added soon. Team Carbon are backporting all the features from previous releases, so it'll take some time.

One of my favorite Roms. Was missing this on my whale. Thanks.

I'm glad!
Does it use oxygen RIL like paranoid and sultan's rom?
Nice, another Uber compiled rom=D
edit: btw does it have double tap to wake? cant seem to find info on that
Edit2: Nevermind, flashed and saw it has gestures. Btw supersu is not included! You might want to correct the first post=p
Good work mate!
Straight to the point thoughts on this ROM:
(1)It is super smooth.
(2)Restore Oxygen EFS using TWRP to get stable reception.
(3)Customization is minimal but that's OK considering the stability of the rom. The phone feels like Nexus.
(4)On lock screen, battery percentage disappears from Status Bar.
(5)Battery Life seems to be above average. Can report on that after a Day.
This will be my daily driver for quite a long time. Great Work Dev.
Btw,I used OpenGapps Nano package.
Thanks for the rom wil try today. Was using aosp-caf till now. But whats the difference in this one

Do you have multiple camera apps installed ? May be that is the reason. You need to select a default app after that it should work. I don't have this ROM at the moment, so can't say if it's working.
this is awesome rom man ! THE rom that i was searching for years ! just setup the usual setting already makes me happy ! oh man im in love :silly::silly::silly:
a big thanks to Dev for the rom. :good::good:
Hi @rohitporoli , im kind new to this but may i ask where is the su.d folder ? i flashed superSU 2.65 and suppose to have /su/su.d right ? please advise
First, I want to thank You for this fantastic optimized, smooth and great looking rom. I'm using it since yesterday an i think it has a great potential Also battery life with stock kernel is phenomenal at standby atleast
For now i found one bug: when camera is on and i rotate the phone vertical every options on left edge of screen are visible. But when i rotate the phone horizontal to take photo all options are gone. It means options are there, You can click on them, but you can't see them.
I can't find option to touch right upper corner of screen and pull out all quick settings.
I'm still testing this rom , but I think it will be my new daily driver.

Open supersu and then install backup scripts if it prompts, may be that's when it creates the folder. Check inside one of those folders, priv-app probably. I don't know much about this su.d, just giving you leads. I m on tipsy and have it inside system.

Here's some small answer to your questions or just answer to questions.
Code:
Q: Bootleggers? Why? What does that even mean?
A: Bootleggers (on a context of toy bootlegs and related stuff) are the people who take an original idea or product and make their own version, obviously on a low-quality way.
Q: What does the chinese/japanese thing means? I don't get it
A: According to google (and take the meaning of this with a hundred quotation marks) it means home or family. We want you to use your phone and feel yourself comfortable, and like it, like you'll be at home.
Q: Can i make Bootleggers stuff like wallpapers, logos and stuff?
A: Of course, feel free to do it, we will love it.
Q: Do you have any Telegram/G+ Group to chat and share stuff of the ROM?
A: Check the first paragraphs, you'll find it
Screenshots will be attached on this thread.

I've heard some good things about this ROM. Thanks for posting it here!
I'm interested in this one. Thanks!
New rom,seems nice.. I heard only good about this rom .Thanks dev
Another great ROM here! Thank you @syed sajid!
I have 2 questions though :
- I've read all ROM features on Github and I'd like to be sure that it includes the power button to torch on lockscreen.
- What is the default kernel? I've heard that it's SingularityKernel! That will be awesome!
And a big Thanks for the team to include the always forgotten feature : Suspend Actions.
1. U mean that while pressing power button on lockscreen opens torch/ flashlight.
2. Stock Kernel -GZR kernel with upstream with latest things.( i haven't tried custom kernel yet).

Hi,
I am looking for a custom rom which can give me better network coverage inside a house/building. Heard that Freedom Rom had this but unfortunately it has stopped.
I am OOS 5.0.4. Has this Rom been tweaked for better network reception?
Appreciate your response.
It's great to have new rom !
I installed the rom but I didn't find the alert slider settings (it's only me ?)
@syed sajid Thanks for creating this thread. First heard about this rom about 2 weeks ago on the [Discussion] Favourite rom and why? sub forum. All the best with it
May I ask what does UNSHISHUFIED mean ?

Read the whole OP! Be respectful to each other and don't ask for ETAs, it's considered as being rude!
AOSP Extended is an AOSP based ROM which provides stock UI/UX experience with useful customizations. Being based on AOSP it provides a smooth experience. We have added useful customizations from various other open-source projects and have tried to keep our things simple. A ROM by a user, for a user. #BeExtended
#ExtendYourDevice Here are the Extensions! on top of AOSP! We are constantly trying to update the list. Our aim is not to provide all the features available on earth. We aim to add important features that we think should be here and also what you think. For the addition of more tweaks or features, head on to our Telegram community and post the list of features that you want! Features with commits will be more helpful!

-Why no "Incremental/Delta updates" Support?
->The updates we provide monthly are heavily changed and modified than the previous builds. New stuff is merged and added. So we don't provide incremental updates and recommend a clean flash.
-How do I root this ROM?
->We recommend Magisk
-Does this ROM Support Substratum?
->Google killed Substratum support in Pie. You can use it, however, you need to be rooted. We don't support rootless Substratum.
-Which Gapps are recommended?
->OpenGapps and BitGappps
-Will this ROM relock the bootloader?
->No.
-What about XPOSED?
->XPOSED is still in the beta stage. We like Xposed but it messes up with the system so before giving any bug reports make sure you have Xposed uninstalled.
-When Will Be the Next Update?
->No ETAs, please. ROM Will be updated whenever the new build is ready by your maintainer. We generally provide monthly updates with the latest security patches and new features.
-Adaway is not working
->Download it from here Adaway
-SElinux Linux mode changer app is not working nor Busy Box installer app is working.
->Everything is good with the sources. You should try other things first and then contact your maintainer.

Selinux is permissive, will be enforcing in coming builds,
Safety net requires magisk to be flashed
Hi, great work on this.
Any doorstoppers this cant go official?
I ask because ota updates are more convenient vs checking this thread if and when there is an update.
Keep up the great work nevertheless
p.s.
I also noticed you are using a slightly old kernel any reason to keep a 6 months old kernel still kicking?
Check https://android.googlesource.com/kernel/common/+/refs/heads/android-4.9-p/Makefile
