Not able to pass safetynet test in Magisk Manager - Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Questions & Answers

Unrooted from SuperSU, removed Xposed. Magisk Manager shows safetynet test not passed: ctsProfile: false. Play Store account shows uncertified. Tried clearing data and cache but comes back to uncertified status. Any solution?

MIUI 8.7.7.13 the latest global beta rom. Read somewhere to change the build.prop line but not sure if that works. help.

Do you have installed magisk?
Inviato dal mio Redmi Note 3 utilizzando Tapatalk

Edit this in the build.prop then reboot:*
-ro.build.description=kenzo-user 6.0.1 MMB29M V8.2.1.0.MHOCNDL release-keys
-ro.build.fingerprint=Xiaomi/kenzo/kenzo:6.0.1/MMB29M/V8.2.1.0.MHOCNDL:user/release-keys
If that is already in your build.prop and safetynet is still failing then disable all modules and activate core only mode.

Looks like everyone is in same boat, but here is a fix

Works for me magisk 13.3 + global dev 7.7.20

If you find the other way to root and install exposed framework. But I think bootloader is the key to this.
I already have xposed on a debloated TouchWiz. Didn't need to unlock the bootloader for it.
Soooooooo... Does this module require the BL unlocked, or just xposed?

Oh didn't know, so then you could just test it(?) I don't see why it would need unlocked bootloader if other modules work. I might be wrong...
Groovy. I just don't wanna get stuck in a bootloop and have to redo my phone.
No bootloop, no need of unlocked bootloader. It is a normal Xposed module.

Xposed on the new MM update

If anyone has put Xposed on their Honor 5X with the latest MM 6.0.1 update could you post which version/installer and if you had any problems?
no working on last xposed version, using twrp to flash.
stuck on HONOR animation for 10min and getting a bit hot
tried xposed uninstaller and everything is working now
Using this version: xposed-v86-sdk23-arm64.zip
With this apk.
Working well on both stock ROM b330 and CM13.
First boot can be a bit long, just be patient.
I used the file @mooms supplied and the first boot took a very, very long time. At first I thought it was stuck. But finally it booted up and it's working.

It was at least 20, maybe even 25. I just left it alone for a while and did something else.
BTW, an entirely different issue is which Xposed Modules will be compatible.
Amplify works (for battery saving).
But many other modules (eg GravityBox) say they do not work with OEM skinned ROM's, only pure AOSP.

I know that was also said on the version for LP but I was able to use some of the functions of GravityBox like Expanded desktop Mode to hide navigation bar and enable volume keys to kip tracks when listening to music.

Exactly, GravityBox will run, but only some functions works with the stock ROM.
If you want a fully working GravityBox, switch to CM13! (however, roughly half of the features are already implemented in CM13).

He meant there's an Xposed forum on XDA. All the info you need is there. He obviously knew the answer but didn't want to hand hold.

This has not been an issue for me but try and remove notification access, device manager permission and try and see if you can go into authorization and revocation and remove permission. That should help. If not do a clean I install. Service framework takes some battery but it's more along the lines of 1-2% MAX
Hi, thanks for your reply, please can you explain me more detaill for this operation?

Notification access is in settings>additional settings> privacy>special app access. There's a lot of other options there other than notification. Usage access etc. I'd spend a good 30 minutes going through each one of them and deactivating Xiaomi framework wherever you see it. Authorization and revocation is under settings>additional settings.
If you want a clean install, then if you have root and unlocked bootloader, basically wipe dalvik, cache and system and then flash (this will remove magisk). If you don't have unlocked bootloader, download the zip for stable from miui site and use the updater app to basically install an update a second time. Might work. Don't know. Other than that, just read as much of this forum as possible. This is basic stuff that's been gone over in more detail in other posts ?
Hi, I made your suggestion bit Framework Is still on app consumption statistics...
Inviato dal mio POCO F1 utilizzando Tapatalk
Update that app from apkmirror.
You can delete two folders from TWRP or any recovery: At /system/system/app or priv-app localise XSF, there are two. Delete them and reboot. I do it every weekly update and without problems. Also I remove MIUI Daemon and FindDevice. These three services phone home and consume memory.
Edit: FindDevice deletion bootloops on Miui12. There are also non-root adb pm uninstall commands safer to do.
