U can use paid service FunkyHuawei to rebrand to C432, it's out now.

advice on the Chinese ver.
Could someone who has the Honor 9 in Chinese rom please give a full description of how it looks like and what are the cons of having a Chinese version device? I heard google apps are missing but that issue can be solved easily. what about the language and menu? If you choose English language would there be a problem with Chinese characters and stuff or you can enjoy a fully English phone?

root and xposed are pretty cool to play around with and unlock new features. you can unroot the phone

no also works on non-rooted if your device works just moving fonts to hw folder

huawei are not likely to release sources of their kirin chi.. just try your luck..

Where are you seeing Chinese? I'm using the Chinese dev/beta rom with the language set to English and there it's about 95% English, the most Chinese appears in the themes app, but I don't use it so it doesn't bother me.
