Do not flash LineageSU as this ROM is based off CAF and not on lineage.. So flashing Lineage SU might result in bootloop. Root WIP on this ROM.

Great ROM! Not been using it long, but it seems as stable and bug-free as Lineage so far! No problems with GPS or with fingerprint gestures as there are in one or two of the other roms! Got root access using Magisk. Flashed Magisk 11.6 and then updated to 13.3 using latest Magisk Manager.
If anyone wants to test the rom before its release message me on telegram @mvaisakh

Any way to contact you? I want to know how to update from Magisk 11.6 to 13.3, because I'm having a lot of problems.
Edit: Installed Magisk 11.6, then latest Magisk Manager apk, then through app updated to 13.3, all working, except that I can't install any modules. Weird.

Yep that's how I did it! I had not tried installing any modules until just now but it they are failing to install for me too. I've also not been passing safetynet with Magisk Hide enabled which is disappointing so there must be something weird going on. Still, root access seems to be working absolutely fine which is the most important part for me!

I have magisk 13.3 on RR and have had it on this ROM , 13.1 also past safteynet for me but u need to download an older magisk manager or it will crash , run the updates through magisk
Is this AOSP or CAF based? In the Cosmic OS Google+ community they said its full rebase on CAF, but here it says AOSP, I'm a bit confused.

You can always flash Unsu zip floating around and flash whatever you want.

I just saw that on the google+ page that the ROM comes without root. It would be great to have it without root on N6 as well. @AJDA
Software Updates not compatible. Tried it out but i get a message that the rom is not compatible with OTA updates.

the rom is unrooted by default you need to flash superSU , magisk did not work for me for now

I used Magisk and worked fine. At the moment back to stock, but going to flash the rom again later today

Tjis is what i did:
I flashed the rom and gapps, then rebooted and did the setup. When i finished with the setup i booted back into twrp and flashed magisk-v12.0 zip. After reboot i updated it.

After 4-5 bootloops the rom booted but when i was setting up Google account then again it bootlooped!
Then i tbought it was a gapps issue,so i clean flashed the ROM without gapps and again after 4-5 bootloops it booted but then also there were several reboots !! Anyone facing such issue???

40???? flash firmware L and ROM... It takes a maximum of 5 minutes.

This is 64-bit, before anyone asks (Arnova's Gcam installs).
I love this ROM! The only thing it's missing that I like is moving the clock to the centre, having the clock show AM/PM and having the circle battery icon.

Latest version should be fine. Safteynet is fine. No fix module required.
i was unable to install gapps it said incompatible rom verson Error code 20:

Found 8.1.0 with a quick search. Not being mean but you seem to be having trouble with all things root. I would take a breather, read as much as you can to better educate yourself. It will make your phone modifying experience that much better.

Wiped, flashed (without gapps) and at boot gives me a "to start android enter your password" screen.
Obviously I haven't set up a password yet as it's a 100% fresh install.
Any ideas (Google hasn't any)?

Sounds really good but how to flash?
I suppose you have to flash it by using TWRP (and not using fastboot flash)?
Awesome work! Love the customizations. App opps, wakelock/alarm blockers are great to have.

Yes. It's a zip file, so you need to install it the same way as you install ROMs on other phones.
Wipe /system, /data, /cache and /dalvik and then flash ROM + Gapps and reboot to #ExploreTheCosmos!

Because you can then remove needless system files/apps to regain space.. Or to remove tracking software... Like carrier iq.

... Update: Rom is extremely stable... I accidentally dirty flashed over MSM-Xtended, didn't even wipe cache but still booted just fine... Gps, sensors, micro sd card all work
Tried this out, clean flash coming from MSM-X. Runs well, and had no issues going thru the initial setup on this. Only things I've noticed are the Google Calendar itinerary view widget won't load (was fine on MSM) and I have the same mic issues as on MSM. Thanks @rounak1619 !
Great rom, love all the customization and so stable and quick! I am having an issue with a USB card reader though - is there a setting or something I am missing to allow USB OTG?
bootloops after trying to install magisk. every single time.
I installed this on my moto x4 yesterday; it was running whatever the last official release of Android 9 was. First time even activating developer options on my phone, so I honestly feel lucky I didn't brick it!
But! I'm a Google Fi user and haven't been able to get any mobile service. I tried installing Carrier Services and Google Connectivity Services before installing the Fi app, but no dice. Any suggestions?
Only other issue I've experienced is the problem with the itinerary calendar widget someone mentioned earlier.
EDIT: In case this is relevant: I was looking at APN settings before activating Fi and they seemed normal, but as soon as I activated Fi, the APNs were replaced ones I added years ago while traveling abroad, which I can't edit and I can't add new APNs. Is there an issue with Fi? Or is this a problem with the SIM card itself? (There's a 50/50 chance while activating that Google Fi doesn't recognize the SIM, weirdly.)

Found your "modded magisk" on the MSM-X thread, flashed it and fortunately it booted, then i used Magisk Manager to update to the latest canary and seems to be working so far.
as for the rom, everything seems to be working. except the fact i cannot set a lockscreen wallpaper, or rather i can but its not displayed, it shows the same as the home screen...except when im using youtube premium. then it shows the lockscreen wallpaper set from settings
