There is an app called KingRoot, which successfully granted root on my previous phone Samsung Note 3. But on LGV10 it doesn't work. Try it, maybe it'll work in your case.

Unfortunaly no... why? DirtyCow was patched since the security patch of may 1.

Your device is not in the supported devices list, hence it's hard to tell if it'll work or not. The only way to find out is to try it.
It's an app based root. ..worst case scenario, it will fail, no damage done. You may also want to try Vroot which is more liely to work with such generic devices
Hi, how can i root this device? I bought this phone 4 days ago but memory (4gb) with 4.4.4 is too low. I didn't find a tutorial to root all over google. Any help? I tried it with PurpleDrake, Framaroot and nothing happened. Please help. I will be very thankful.

I have the same problem i have fg f60 too i serched whole gppgle but still nothing i tried kingoroot and many others ....
DONE ! I've rooted device ! Via PurpleDrake. At firts, u must enable USB Debugging and than root via purpledrake. Good luck. Finaly!

Sorry, that was misstake. The purpledrake shows me that device has been rooted. I've turn on, downloaded SuperSU and it shows that cannot find binary.
I'm too waiting for root , I can't install any games:/
i hope this gets rooted. i have the MetroPCS variant on 4.4.2 but nothing works, purpledrake, towelroot, kingoroot, ioroot... none work. i want to change the density on this phone this extra large look sucks.
Waiting for root is too long, maybe better way is sell this telephone and buy another one

kingroot,kingo root this two are better app for rooting and you don't need to backup to root your device.Though titanium backup is a good backup tool for android.

I was under the impression that you could not root the LG K7 because I wasn't able to root the LG K3 (Boost Mobile). But which program should I use? -- Kingo Root or King Root?

You should try Kingroot.This will work as your device android version is Lollipop.

No you don't need to unlock OEM.This option for unlock bootloader.You can root your device without needing to unlock anything.

I have 2 Lg K7 I first tried towlroot but had no luck ended up using kingroot finally got SuperSU installed haven't had any problems lucky patcher, busy box , ECT works great only issue I have is installing a custom recovery. Will keep u posted as I try new options.

Can you clear more what do you really want?Did not twrp recovery worked for you?

First I would like to say iam a noob but not the first day of school noob Galaxy S3 is my pride and joy but I have a love for Lg I mostly been modding my gs3 lately all 6 but I been dabbling with MetroPCS lg k7 what worked for me was I installed Mobogenie on my laptop and installed king root I was able to do a backup and one click root that way I haven't been able to install a true recovery just yet. But I did get it rooted and am able to do just about everything u can with a custom ROM
Hi, I have a LG Escape3 from Cricket that I have been trying to root. I have tried Kingroot, Framaroot, poot, and nothing works. I am running marshmallow 6.0 currently. I have even tried using the superSU method of downloaded the apk and then going into android boatloader, but my boatloader is locked. Do I have to use a computer? Pls Help.

Don't answer before knowing facts.
Kingroot won't work on locked bootloader's with marshmallow.

This is not the place to shoot from the hip. Please do not answer with out knowing what your taking about. Kingroot does not work on our devise. Thank you.
I tried using VM but but not working and lot of one click root apps and still not working...please help genius admins
What version of Nougat are you using? And is your bootloader unlocked? One-Click root apps won't work with the v10 unfortunately, but I know of at least two guides on this forum that explain the process to go through to root the v10. It is a little bit of a pain and def not the easiest, but it does work.

How to do that ? As i go through with that option there should not be an OS installed in your Pc before doing that.

yeah flash the iso image(download from fwul thread) through Rufus(windows software) to Usb pen drive then boot from usb pen drive ...
