It started with the stock camera. Record video over 1 minute and when you stop recording the app freezes. It gets stuck on video mode. Cant close the app although the viewfinder is till functioning. Force closing the app results in loss of video. Tried other camera apps with the same result. Open Camera, Camera Zoom FX. When the app is first downloaded it works fine, then after a day or two the same problem arises. Anyone deal with this same issue and have a fix?

Running VT 7 and while camera works for taking pictures, video recording freezes and fc's.
Since upgrading to ICS, when I record @ 720p I see that the camera has difficult in focusing and sometimes the recording is stuttering like it got slow and stuck and then it gets fine again...
any recommendation on a replace app or fix for this?
I have tried various combinations of ICS Roms and kernels on my SGS II, but whenever i record a video in full HD (19200x1080), the video constantly tried to focus itslef every few seconds, because of which the recording gets blurred every few seconds. This problem is absent if record the video in lower resolution.
Any solutions to this?
Use 3rd party app, like lgCamera or Camera ICS+.
just noticed that if I have a music app playing, whether it be spotify, poweramp or any of my player widgets, when I open the camera app it stops all play back.
Anyway around this?
Music stops if you just OPEN the camera app? Normally it should only stop if you use the camera to take a video.

that's what i figured but no, for me it stops as soon as I open the camera
ok so I've finally received an update from Optus here in Australia and assumed this issue would be fixed, but no, it's still happening....... as soon as I open the camera app any music player stops playing. Spotify, Google Music etc, happens to them all
Has anyone else seen this? Or have an idea on what might be causing it???
wow ok, this was because Audio Control was on in the camera app.

I am using version M.A.D OS 8.0 of Android in Oukitel k6000 plus, and I have had problems to record videos with the front camera and in the instagram.
Front camera: When recording videos the image becomes very dark, impossible to see something, but for photos it is normal, the only problem is to record videos.
Instagram: The camera does not record videos nor does any of the instagram effects work, it always gives the error "An error occurred try again". Nothing to record anything, again, for photos works well.
Does anyone know how to help?
