I like the overall looks and feels.

Would've been the sexiest device if glass back panel was put instead of metal.

Eye catcher.

blue color is awesome and one of the best looking after honor 8.

one word 'Beautifull'

really love design of this device.

Head turner device.

Design is amazing all with my navy blue edition.

just noticed some "air bubbles" at the edges on the right side of my phone (the buttons side). very sure it's not my screen protector. and very sure i've not seen it before. probably started to appear a few days back...?
does this mean my screen is "lifting"? kinda bummer... considering i try to take good care of it -- got screen protector, got case... **sigh**

its good but i was saying if they but navebar into the bottom of screen same as samsung to get bigger view !
Looks the same as most phones
healthy design... lol
As @jkccl9 said, looks like a lot of others. And with a cover/ protection even more.
But métal is good, screen is good so it looks good : )
1/Fingerprint on the front could have been great with a logo inside
2/custom notification led as find7 oppo is also a good way of différenciation.

Cool desigm, but slippery as wellas rhe camera hump is pretty big
The looks of the device is really elegant. Especially when paired with elegant cases.
Look is one of the USP of this phone. Metal unibody is elegant enough to attract eyes
its nice

It looks really good, good quality build, and its actually not that big comparing to my relative small hands
very nice for the relative low cost compared to pixel/iphone etc
I was just looking at The LG G6.... It's a beautiful phone, but this thing on small bezels only applies to the top and bottom. The Mate 9s side bezels are just as tiny... In fact, they look tinier!
The only thing with the Mate 9 is the top and bottom of the rear frame. Sloppy.
It isn't an edge screen, so it's liked.
Think it is better looking than a s7 edge. Some friends that own a s7 edge think this as well. It is minimalistic but very well done. Small logo nice stainless steel
is it easier to hold with one hand than the nexus 6?
thanks

My friend commented on the phone, he likes the colour the feel etc. He's on the S6 edge plus. I had the s7 edge before this for a week and chose the mate 9 primarily because it didn't have the curved edges.
The Pro was therfore not worth it for me. I think the device feels premium, the body colour and materials are superb.
I have the gold/mocha.
Look very good, some kind of generic according to the most recently launched phones like op3 and others that have similar build, but is very pretty after all. In my opinion s7 edge I've had before has better looking with the survey screen but it's only until you turn on the mate 9 screen.

Likewise, it's not overdone and quite elegant in my opinion. Taking it a step further with Elegance or similar theme, gold tinted icons for apps blends into the phones look quite nicely. Then customised slightly further with theme editor.
Then I've a case protector that's black, gold trim, for sales season, handing around with gallery images, accepting payments, social outing etc.
and second case that spoils all the above, love mei tough case and no concerns about working around the farm with it Turns it into a ruggedised tablet. (if you get one, scratch off paint directly below the front proximity sensor, else the invisible light sensor is blocked and auto dims to max.
Compared to 5.5 inch phones our 5.9 Mate looks smaller (e.g apples 7 plus < Mate9 dimensions) Top quality compared to my previous phones, you get what you pay for.
Huawei did a great job with Mate 9
Beautiful, my only love
It's a rectangular slab of metal, plastic and glass. I base my buying habits, on the INSIDE quality of the phone, not how "sleek, sexy, colorful & stylish" it is. Right now, this is my 3rd Huawei phone. It's the quality of the inside of the device, that keeps me coming back.
Hey....looks are important!
Give me a slow moving, lush looking car over an over-powered crate on wheels any day!
I have to want to be with and feel good with my phone. It's in my hands all day. I look at it every time I use it.
This - it's what it does that matters - doesn't cut it for me. Nah.
It's got to look good and feel good to me.

I'd be a lot happier with the appearance if I could have had that lovely blue I had on my Note 7. I don't understand why they didn't offer anything other than that insipid Orchid Grey.....

I put my S8+ next to an AT&T Note 8 in the store and I refuse to believe they are both 'Orchid Grey'. I love the color on my S8+ but the 'Orchid Grey' on the Note 8 looks flat and dull. I agree with you, it looks terrible in comparison.

I can't argue with that at all. The glass back (which probably contributes to the flat color) makes the Note 8 feel far superior. Also, I prefer the less rounded corners of the Note's edges and also the screen.
So much so that I swapped my S8+ for a Note 8 and i'm happy. I'm a fickle boy really.

The S8+ back feels like plastic
Phones straight up gorgeous. By far the best looking device on the market
It looks and feels great, like really good. But the curved edges make the phone really fragile, more than a flat screen.

Nothing fancy in the design but definitely have solid smartphone in this price range and feels like a business class model as it preserves all the details of the phones very vividly and looks professional
Yeah mobile looks are classic and premium with its metal back with blue colour.

If I have to choose between M1 and M2 from design perspective, I'll definitely choose the M1.
M2 is a degradation from my point-of-view, notch and glossy plastic? meeeh... not my taste.
I could've bought Pro M2 but did not because this phone looks more sturdy and premium(at least in my opinion). This phone looks really cool imo
The metal back panel and slightly round bevels. The sense of touch you feel while holding the phone (without case or backcover :silly gives a great sense of satisfaction. Plus notch was never really my style so this suits me perfectly.
Sometimes, a simple design might prove to be more appealing. At least to me

Although I wish the phone was more rounded like the S series, I'm pretty pleased with the design.
Let's just say, it's a good job it's wipe clean ??
I love the look of the Note 9. The Note 8 was my favorite device as far as looks go, and the Note 9 just refined that and improved it.
I love the new Cloud Silver color, but I honestly prefer my Ocean Blue with the contrasting S Pen. It just makes a statement.
I really don't have anything negative to say about it. It's a much better looking (and performing) device than my Pixel 2 XL. Matter of fact, I'm selling the P2XL and I'll just keep my Note 8 as a back up device. Can't part with it!
I'd have preferred much smaller top and bottom chin and forehead bezels. Still not a big fan of the curved sides, but for now that is still samsungs calling. And while I prefer the Note line to the S line, I do think prefer the more rounded corners of the S line. Overall I was hoping for less top and bottom bezels at least with the Note 9.
Ok
It's just BEAUTIFUL
I doesn't have the most attractive aesthetic of any device. But it's okay. the front and side chassis are gorgeous. But the camera module is quite frankly hideous. Possible the worst out of all manufacturers.
I love the more "boxy" look of that phone
This Device is like a TANK. A solidly built design with good battery life and not to forget the 3.5 HEADPHONE JACK.
Edit: Just got the news that Samsung's new A8s is the first phone with an Infinity-O hole-punch display. I think at last Samsung has found a way to get rid off notch but they also removed the headphone jack that is sad. There is three layer of glass on top and it is 2.5 LTPS display with camera HOLE.
Note 9 has the best looking cases.
Everything on the back side is symmetrically aligned in the center so all the camera cutouts for the cases look perfect.
Other phones are justified to one side or the other and the designs and grooves on the backs of cases are cut off.
Note 9 is perfectly aligned so the grooves and cutouts look better.
