Help with ADB/Fastboot? - LG Optimus L9 P760, P765, P768, P769

I having trouble trying to get i guess Fastboot working? Essentially it goes to the step adb reboot and trying to go into fastboot. I have to manually do it since it never does. I hold the vol up + power and goes into the S/W Upgrading Screen. I not sure if that is the fastboot mode? However adb can't detect the device but on device manager it shows android com. Gets stuck on waiting for device. Any clues how to continue? I'm also trying to unlock bootloader too.
Here is what I have:
USB Drivers
USB Debug / MTP
D415 Unlocked Tmobile 4.1.2
Rooted with Kingroot
Android Studio Installed

Trying to root phone, fastboot not being recognized?

I just got another Atrix and I've been trying to root it. I was able to flash the unlocker SBF with sbf_flash just fine, installed adb/fastboot just fine. But, after booting into fastboot and seeing "Starting fastboot protocol support", and then running adb devices and fastboot devices after plugging the phone in, the phone is not visible. fastboot commands just hang on < waiting for device >. I've tried both back and front USB ports, but if that was the issue I would assume that I wouldn't have been able to flash the SBF.
I'm on Mint 64-bit.
EDIT: I forgot to type sudo. Shoot me.

Click to expand...
Click to collapse
According to this everything was well
Maybe USB not responding as MTK usb or preloader mode.
from experience, it is a driver issue with Windows 8-10 or when you connect an mtk device tap both power and vol+ (vol-) at the same time

Device won't turn on, isn't recognized when plugged in. Help!

Hi!
So I was following this guide to install TWRP. After flashing the .img and rebooting the phone turned off.
Now it won't turn on at all, and gives no signs of charging or being alive in any way.
When I plug it in I get this message :
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I tried follwing this post to "unbrick" the phone, but I can't install the drivers because I get the message "Windows has determined that the best driver for this device is already installed".
I'm completely lost about what to do next. Please help!
EDIT: I solved it, I was able to somehow get into fastboot mode, not sure how. Feel free to delete this thread.

Soft or Hardbrick? What we can do?

Hello everybody,
My buddy has a HTC One S9 and has a problem with that. The phone does not charge anymore and sticks to the HTC logo. He set the device to factory settings and there it did not work properly, he made a factory rest in recovery mode and did "mount system" why he did that is a mystery to me today!
The phone was not rooted accordingly, no TWRP on it but only the standard recovery. The bootloader is unlocked.
I had tried on the recovery via ADB sideload TWRP on it unfortunately did not work because it looks like he would not recognize the device via USB. The USB port works because the phone can be charged etc.
what can we do now to get this device up and running?
