It's never been updated and it's not supported.
You can flash your phone with the latest Indian (19s) or Chinese ROMs (23s) - they are all compatible with any Le Max 2 devices.

Leeco Le2 Max X821

I have buy the leeco le2 max but i have received the version x821,i read that is indian version,my problem that i put the recovery but is blocked,i want to install a new rom in italian language but is not possible to install nothing from recovery.
Something know a solution?
after you install recovery from fastboot, you must boot straight into recovery otherwise it will be overwritten.
to do this hold power and up volume keys to exit fastboot, keep holding until you see it's booting recovery
when your finally in twrp recovery, agree by swiping to let twrp make changes, this stops twrp being overwritten

X829 orginal rom

Hi
I'm looking a orginal EUI 5.8.0.16S for X829. It's the same like CN version ?
Now I'm on RR but my SOT is less than 2h and I try back to orginal version. Can I flash EUI 5.8.0.16S by twrp ?
Can anyone give me a link to orginal rom ?
Thanks for advice

Why do you want to flash 16S ? That's and outdated rom, if you want stock flash Chinese 23S (Google Play not included and a lot of Chinese apps) or Indian 19S (Google Play included and no Chinese sht)
Both ROMs are for X820 but you can flash them without problems on any Le Max 2 model.
BTW 2 hours SOT? Maybe you have a defective battery.

I don't know. Maybe battery maybe soft. I bought my phone about 15.04.2017. First I used original software (as I remember, then I had about 4,5h of SOT) after 2 weeks I changed for other software like RR or LineageOS. Because it's look better than original

Just search here, there are many tutorials how to flash new rom...
Heyyo,
This thread has links to stock EUI ROM downloads
https://forum.xda-developers.com/le...2-official-stock-firmware-links-t3433761/amp/
Download one, rename to update.zip and place at the root of your storage (/sdcard or such) and reboot to recovery and select update from file.
On the back of your phone at the bottom it will say x820, x821 or x829) will dictate which EUI ROM you need.
x820 is the Chinese variant and uses chinese EUI ROM versions. I think 5.9.026s is the latest official.
x821 is the Indian variant and uses the Indian EUI ROM versions. Latest is 5.8.019s.
x829 is the North American / International variant... It lacks LTE band 20 and is on a broken EUI ROM version 5.8.016s which is also update blocked. Only thing you can do here is use TWRP to format data and flash either a different region version of EUI ROM or a custom ROM.

how do i update the firmware on le max 2

i'm really new to these stuffs, can i update my 5.8.019S EUI version on my le max 2 x820 without an sd card? i don't have an update option in my phone so i guess i have to enter recovery mode somehow. What is the last official and best version of EUI? if i update EUI will the android version change?

you will brick your device if you do, never flash roms that are not for your device.

Heyyo, I'm sorry to say but the odds of that are
slim without Kernel Sources... If custom ROMs is important to you it's always recommended to either stick with official device releases from manufacturers who are reliable for kernel source releases...
I'm unsure if there is a return policy from your vendor but you could always inquire and order a device with a healthy custom ROM community
