As the title suggests, is it possible to modify the code within Google Now Launcher to make a 5x5 grid? I have a device running Android 7.0 Nougat. I want the 5x5 grid layout found in Nexus devices. Changing DPI doesn't change the grid layout, only the icon size.
So can anybody customize the launcher apk for me? All I want is the 5x5 grid and I'm asking if it's even possible. I have no experience in coding and development and stuff like that.
To whoever will do me the favor, thank you so much.
By the way, I don't like other launchers such as Nova.

and it just won't work on my xperia arc. however the basic one from android authority(http://www.androidauthority.com/xperia-arc-lt15i-arc-s-lt18i-install-touchwiz-port-galaxy-s3-92291/) is working just fine. i hope someone is able to help me with this. thanks

Long story short: i have Samsung JB 4.1.2 rooted-deodexed and i want to change the icons. Is there any way i can do this? Most of the icons pack are for other launchers, not for TW. Can i change them "manually" without an installation pack? i am most interested on the drawer icons but i will not complain if i can change all of them...
to be more clear: i want to keep the touchwiz, so it is not an option to change the launcher.

Is it possible to swipe through with each page having a different theme?
Download the needed icon packs, then customize the icons for each page. I believe you can also have multiple Zooper widgets with different themes, not sure. Basically customize each page on its own.
For example... For every theme there are directions that say "use this launcher with a grid size of 5x9". Every theme is different so my question really is towards those that have themed android and have gone through trial and error.
So what grid size to use? 12x12? Any other tips?

You can just resize the widgets in most launchers. Grid size doesn't really matter much, set something you're comfortable with.
I was hoping someone can make a modded launcher grid for t-mobile galaxy s5 touchwiz lollipop in a 4x5 home grid and 5x5 app drawer.

Go get Nova launcher and you can set it up however you want.
Here is a 5x5 stock launcher, just flash in recovery. This will also make your app drawer 5x5.

Disclaimer: I am a programmer but not an Android Developer. However, I figure the people here are more likely to have an answer to this question than the people in more consumer-oriented forums.
Note that my device is not rooted but I'm otherwise comfortable poking around in folders, opening APKs, etc.
