[ROOT] Any Success Rooting LG Optimus Zone 3 (VS425PP)? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I am having issues rooting my LG Optimus Zone 3 with one-click root software.
I've tried both the .apk and the PC methods for Kingo Root and Kingroot. I've tried numerous times with both only to get a "Root Failed" result.
Has anyone had success rooting this phone?
Thanks
Android version: 5.1.1

Hi we have it figured out on another thread here...
you'll have to downgrade to version 2 of the software then root and flash a few partitions to fix a bootloop issue then we use kingroot to exploit the device to root. then we use some codes through ADB to remove king root. and replace the whole SU bianary with chainfires SuperSU.apk
it's a process but if you have any problems following the tut. just post in the above mentioned thread and we will help.
we have links to everything you'll need over on our thread .
come join us over there for rooting your zone3.

At first find the right adb drivers for your device. If you can't find drivers you can download the latest Android SDK and install the drivers manually (Universal ADB driver).
**You can take a look here how to install them manually.**
Then you could try one of these apps to root your device:
SRS One Click Root for Android --> Root could be successful on firmware PZ320AM_GYSD_3M_FOREIGN_V2.0.2_usr_r10270
Unlock Root Tool
Vroot
[ROOT] Framaroot, a one-click apk to root some devices
SuperOneClickv1.7-ShortFuse --> Have you try it with rangeagainstthecage exploit?
SuperOneClickv2.3.3-ShortFuse
Thanks so much for your reply.
I Have managed to install the Adb drivers. (AS SHOWS IN THE DEVICE MANAGER).
I also installed the moborobo software and my device is recognised.
MT6515
When i use srsroot, unlockroot I just get the message failed,
When I use the oneclick root i get the message adb out of date.
I suspect tbat thr drivers are correct, but I dont know what I am doing wrong.
My phone needs the spreadtrum drivers. ANY suggestions
please?
Thanks everybody. Kind regards,DD
Finaly I managed to root the phone!
After all these attempts the software that managed to root the MT6515 is the VRoot. Only issue is that is in chinese and I... struggle to read most of the things, but end result excellent!!
it has also installed the superuser app that is in chinese aswell. Is there anything else similar in English?
Thanks again for the enormous help.
Kind regards to everybody, keep up the good work,
DD

Dear community,
I am looking for a way to root my device BLU DASH JR 4.0 K (D143K) running Kitkat 4.4.2 and I have tried a lot of different tools already (towelroot, king root, mobogenie, uroot, vroot, kingoroot.) and done a lot of research without success.
I was hoping someone would have successfully rooted that phone and could share an approach that is known to work with me.
Thanks a lot for your help,

Yes, I saw this post and followed the various links and tried the various options described without success. Thanks for suggesting it anyway.
Still not rooted
Bump! I unfortunately did not find a way to root this phone. I must have tried all "on-click" root apps out there without success. Anyone with a different approach to propose ?
The phone runs on a MT6572 A7 dual core cpu although somehow the hardware is listed as MT6571. The file system is UBIFS.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks !
i have tried every possible to root but no success. i assume the purpose of rooting is to fix imei after flashing firmware. i use sigmakey to repair imei without rooting after months of trying different things.

You tried king root, it will tell you that it was unsuccessful the first time, run it again immediately, if second try dont work the 3rd one will.

Kingroot, towelroot and even ordin is not working...!!
Kingroot pc version Is working fine many people have used it on oc1 including myself, but kingroot apk is not working. Must install the latest pc version of kingroot in chinese.
Question
I have a verizon gs4, lollipop 5.0.1, same baseband l545vrugoc1, and i used kingroot pc version to root. Did the same for my wifes phone. Root seems to work, i have superuser permission, but now both phones say sim card not readable, contact your provider. I want to switch the phone to straighttalk service with their byod sim kit. Is this message normal or is the phone no longer capable of reading a sim? Knox somehow involved? One other question, i cant remove kingroot and replace with supersu, supersume not working completely and once supersu is on the phone binaries wont update, fails everytime. Been searching for 2 weeks to find answers and while normally google is my friend, this time its no help.
Any help would be appreciated.

how to root alcatel onetouch a564c from net10

I have tried almost everything to root this phone, is anyone working on a root for this phone? I tried kingroot, kingoroot, towelroot, oneclickroot, and a few others, all to no avail. here is a screenshot of the phone info. I need root! Please help!
Model Number:
ALCATEL A564C
android version:
4.4.2
Baseband version:
MD8610 1123 14W02
Kernel Version:
3.4.0-g5314b55
Build number:

Still no root
Same problem
I have the same model and can't get it to root. The main problem is that there is only 2gb that you can use to store apps on and there is no feature to move apps to the sd card at all. I was able to get kingroot to work but the phone kept crashing and it was only partially rooted so it doesn't work. So if anyone has had success with rooting this device please share any info you have here.
Thanks in advance.

[HELP] Reliable root & install superSU and TWRP for LG G2 D80210b-TWN 32GB 4.2.2 ?

[HELP] Reliable root & install superSU and TWRP for LG G2 D80210b-TWN 32GB 4.2.2 ?
Hi all,
I read lots of threads here and have to resign to root my phone the hard way because :
• I tried Stump root, Towel root, the "clean" methods for people without a computer found here
• I don't want to use Kingo or iRoot because they install pups with the exploit
• I know going to Kitkat would be easier but my Taiwanese phone is used in Europe and doesn't receive OTA updates. I prefer Jelly Bean for the moment.
Would someone know of a reliable method to do it with my phones specs?

ioRoot looks good but my phone model isn't listed. If I can borrow a computer where the owner allows me to install drivers. I'll only have a limited access time of one hour. This it's vital for me to "succeed". I'm just trying to get some good advice before starting.
Thank you all.
Root using Kingroot and then replace kingroot with supersu. You don't need to have a computer to root your device.Your device have forum to look for support.
Hi Røbin,
Thank you for your reply and suggestion.
I used Kingo Root because the app package is smaller than KingRoot. It doesn't install any extra apps. I then changef the Kingo Root by following this procedure posted by MSalmanKhan17.
