when i switch the time zone of my cellphone to my country, i don't know why the watch add 1 hour.
example:
my time zone is gmt -4 and the hour is 10:00am --> the watch showing 11:00 am
the only solution is switch to other time zone
i have the chinnese version in 1.2.29i

I'm living in Chile and the time zone is GMT -4 Santiago... when I swith to this zone, watch add 1 hour
to solve the problem, i need change to GMT -3.. in this case I use GMT-3 Buenos Aires, Argentina.

I have updated the tzdata to 2017b but it will be included in the next firmware release.
If you know how to put the file with adb, here is a link to it:

You should get root access:

Same problem here
I already tried factory reset, reboot and update (app and firmware) but the wrong timezone still remains in the watch, one hour ahead

If you are in Brasil, as your name shows, change the time zone on your *phone* to Buenos Aires, which is also GMT-3 but doesn't have DST, then sync your watch and it will be fine.

I had to do exactly this. I hope Amazfit updates the time zone data to solve this...

I just got a new update and by casuality I was proxy my app to my computer at that time, so I catch the rquest, here is the changelog:
1.3.5 Release notes:
Support Mountaineering activity tracking
Removed occasional Chinese voice prompt from lap alert
Fixed small difference on displayed time when the screen is locked v.s. unlocked
Fixed the weekday rendering issue on some watchfaces
Fixed off-by-one-hour issue in tracked sleep time in Daily Overview widget
Fixed pairing issues with some smartphones running Android 8.0 and above
Optimized system power consumption
The update hide the sideload apk list at the end of the options, but don't worry, after re/install any apk, all of them are back.

I just bought this watch and love it, upgraded this morning to 1.3.5. Looking at the change log it says:
Removed occasional Chinese voice prompt from lap alert
Does this watch support and audio prompt in the lap alert? For me it just vibrates and shows on screen my pace for the previous kilometer.

Thanks for the reply, how can I get this to work? I run without my phone and have a Bluetooth headset connected playing music, I also have the lap alert enabled in the settings! This is the one thing I'm missing in this watch so it would be great if I could get it working!!

Unfortunately I can't do anything because the attached file is an OTA update and it is not completed.....

Strange bug on amazfit
Hello, ive found something strange on my watch. We all know the option huami lab called 'ppg capturing'. Seems when you reboot the watch, this option is auto activated: i've seen many times my watch tracking my heartbeat while i was on my bed since the night. I've checked huami lab ppg capturing and resellected the cross and it is fine then.

Thanks for that, this can be useful since I noticed that battery autonomy was dicreased by this update. I'm sure this will improve it.
I'll wait for a few days, as usual, but if someone could check the couple of glitches I've had on 1.3.4f :
1. When changing the watchface on watch , by press&hold, it always scrolls to 1st one, so I have to swipe eternally to left to get to one wanted.
2. Sleep tracking was laughable from day one for me, it shows 4-5 hours of sleep per day, every day.
3. Some watchfaces were stopping the watch and touchscreen from working, when you choose custom background (on the watch itself)
Could someone check those, please?

I switched of the 'ppg capturing' from Huami lab, but the autonomy is still worser than in the previous firmware...
Hi guys! My wife's watch (stratos) since the update has changed the hour to +1, i mean when it's 10' it says it's 11' and so on.
This is a very annoying bug, i've searched for an answer but didn't have sucess...

It is happening here in my Pace just like this but not because update, but because summer time that should be started yesterday but was postponed.
I tried everything: restarted watch, phone, disconnected and reconnected bluetooth, but no success. The time on watch keeps wrong while on phone is ok.
I don't know what else to do!

I'm with the same problem, I believe all of Brazil. I've tried syncing and all the ways, bluethoot, Wi-fi, Usb, and I can not change the time. My notification center also stopped working. I no longer receive Whatzap alert, email or facebook for example, but all activities including the step counter is working.
Anyone have any idea how to solve it or will we have to wait to enter daylight hours to normalize?

If you are running a custom Rom, you can install this tzdata updater .bat in your windows PC or just use the commands inside the .bat if you use any other platform on your PC.

Or if you are in stock Rom with unlocked bootloader, just install temporal root from Pacified or Stratosfied Rom and run the updater .bat.

The time is wrong. I live in Brazil
The time is wrong only on locked screen on my watch, but after reboot is ok now.
Time zone +2(Plovdiv, Bulgaria)
Same here in Germany. Active screen switched to winter time, but the locked screen showing still summer time.
Edit: fixed after reboot.

You can't find where to configure date and time on your own phone? Disable auto update, then change the time zone to any GMT-3, like Buenoes Aires or Recipe. Then 4th November go back to Brasilia or Auto, when DST will actually start this year in Brasil.

Huami is changing weather servers/providers. Some people see the cities only in Chinese, others see a completely wrong information. Try to choose the city manually on phone, if it doesn't work then there is little you can do besides wait for it to be fixed by Huami.

Weather information is getting from Xioami servers by some popular web sites, about which provider do you talking?
I had/have the same with Verge: wrong language (Chinese), detection of cities (locations), wrong temperature (often is incorrect). But I saw in Google app and my manufacturer app is the same. Amazfit using the same sources, so maybe problem is with sources

I checked this morning: in watch by Amazfit/Huami +15 degrees and blizzard when in reality is fog and about +16 degrees (day must be +27)

Me annoying much more update weather process in Verge at all. In phone all weathers apps doing itself automatic that, why in Verge I need all the time to open app and to sync. It's draining battery of watch much more (I have to charge battery of watch every 2-3 days, with sync I have to do much faster) and weather still is not good. About weather temperature I agree it's s...k, but as mentioned will be fixed that by Huami soon.

Two days ago my GTR 47 upgraded the firmware, by itself, to version 1.3.4.19. At first I didn't notice any change and continued with my life because my first watchface seems OK.
But then I swapped to my second watchface that's distorted.
On top of this, the numbers aren't showing in some menus like: weather, alarm, status, heart rate...
I already tried to reset and shut down the watch and even a factory reset with no luck, so... don't know what to do next. Any Help?

I had the same problem. I contacted with customer support. They said it cannot be repaired, offered a 37 $ refund.. which I did not accept. Now I am waiting for their answer.

So, yesterday the watch got upgraded to version 1.3.5.08, by itself, through the Amazfit app and now is working normally again. You can also use the "Notify & Fitness for Amazfit" app to install some version of the firmware, this should solve your problem too, just remember to do that in this order (Firmware -> Resource -> Fonts) but if you don't want to risk it, just wait for the upgrade.

But after update, my band shows "update failed". One of the worst solutions is to wait for a new official update... Do you know another solutions?

It also happen to me. I connect the watch with phone and change the font from watch setting. And i got it back.

Factory reset your Amafit watch and reconnect your watch with the Zepp app from your phone. Then, go to Zepp app>> go to profile tab>> go to your device>> go to watch settings>>system language. Then change to another language. Then it will update your watch and you will get it back
(I got it back by this way. But I am not sure that is the way. Good luck!!)
