Need help to restore my Honor 9 - Honor 9 Questions & Answers

I tried to rebrand my Honor 9 model STF-AL10 to European model. It successfully flashed new oeminfo but now won't boot because it shows that message.

Also if I boot to fastboot and rescue mode I can't flash anything because now it shows that message.
What can be done ? I'm also willing to pay to repair my phone...

I think your phone is bricked now, Only Huawei can help you now buddy. FRP and Bootloader should be unlocked

Phone was unlocked but Chinese models don't have FRP Lock so I couldn't turn it off. The FRP lock appeared when the Chinese oeminfo was replaced with the European one and suddenly also the bootloader was locked again.
But I have a feeling that I forgot to turn on USB debugging when flashing using that guide on forum...
Anyway maybe DC Phoenix is my last option before sending it to Huawei to reflash OS. Apparently that tool can flash over locked bootloader and FRP.
Does anybody know how it works and if there is a free alternative?

Did you select the correct oeminfo for your firmware? STF-L09C10 is the Russian one and STF-L09C432 is the European one.
Also, did you remember to boot into recovery (volume up + power button) and select the option to clear your data after the rebrand?
You might still be able to boot into recovery and try a reset, but I'm not sure if that will help.

I selected the C432. And I remembered to wipe out the internal storage and data after the rebrand. I honestly don't know what went wrong (besides not having USB debugging turned on).
I also tried to boot into recovery but only the first message appears. In the end I think there is no recovery at all (or is corrupted)...
But it's funny how those security features meant to protect the phone in the end make it harder to recover.

Try to reflash Boot.IMG , Recovery.IMG via ADB in Fastboot mode and SYSTEm.IMG in TWRP.. (On your own risk)... maybe it will work....

That would be nice. I don't have the backup of full stock rom . And I agree with you, probably it won't be possible to flash it with fastboot but with DC Phoenix it might be.

I think we are wrong, this backup is made via TWRP so is flashable only via TWRP... anyway I will postes here. You need extract full firmware B130 and this files flash via fastboot. I have this files but I don't have time today all uploaded here and posted. If want u can do by yourself. Find Huawei Extractor (is here on XDA) and download this zip :

Looks like you just unlocked your bootloader... It's standard procedure is to wipe the phone after that.
Hi! When I start this tooblox and check if the device is attached, I see that it is. But when in fastboot mode, it's not. Help please.

SWEEEEET NICE :good:
Might be a dumb question, but can this also add support to install color os?
Windows only? It seems to be nohting more than tool that executes adb and fastboot commads, but should be useful for newbies
I can't use Google Play after rooted the phone.

Any help?
Thanks.

Yes, unlocking the bootloader then rooting the device will wipe it. You can perform a back up first though. The advantages of rooting are many, to numerous to list here but put simply it allows you to change just about every facet of the phone.

In the way to root...questions to a guide of affraid user

Hello! I'm kind of affraid to root my phone (I do it with my previous phons but this is something else, I'm affraid to brick it), so I want to post the steps I understand I must do to root to confirm and go for it with a relief mood.:laugh::laugh:
I have a Le Max X829
1 - Go to developer options, active debug mode and oem unlock mode
2 - Turn off the phone. Put it on recovery? Leave it off? (how can I access?) and go to ADB on Windows (I have W7). Execute command: fastboot devices to see if the devices is recognized, if it's execute fastboot oem unlock (name of the TWRP image) [I have to put the file on the phone or isn't neccesary?). Enter the command and wait. I'll lost everything that I have on the phone right? (that happen when I unlock the bootloader on my Moto E)
3 - Once is done, unplug the phone from the computer and turn it on. Install magisk manager and put magisk installer and uninstaller on the internal storage. Reboot the phone to TWRP and install Magisk
4 - Boot the phone and done
Is everything ok in that way? Is the way to root the phone? I want to do it to use Greenify properly, to use L-Speed or Helix
Fastboot command works only on bootloader mode, power on with volume down pressed, but its good you follow this guide.

According to the official post all oppo phone shares the same flashing method which’s indicated here: https://bbs.coloros.com/thread-69458-1-1.html
But since currently only Chinese version firmware is available so flashing between regions is still a myth....
Hi, my friends, what's going on? Has anyone been able to actually install the international version with all languages in the Chinese version PAFM00 ?? I'm turning up the internet and nothing. My color is in version 5.2.1 and I would like to know if you already have a secure provision for this update.
I tried to flash the A. 28
official ver but did'nt work ot stopped in t he middle of the process, and then it says update failed. I did it with this method did'nt work.

Never try any of that unless you have teh cash to buy a new phone or take it back to oppo to fix.
There are posts here about trying to flash different roms that mess things up.

Problem is "No one HAS the password"..... hopefully someone can grab the script, as the Chinese Rom is [email protected] in general is very poor, which makes the find X very difficult to use as a daily.
I love the Find X, but it desperately needs a stock rom, or even OxygenOS would be nice yes I know that can't be posted, but anything stock would make the Find X an absolute joy....:good:
I just took delivery of my R.O.G though so I can patiently wait to see if anything does happen.....

Question Corrupted Boot Img

Hey,
My boot image seems corrupted, i just accidentally flashed the stock ROM wrong.
Now i cannot boot into fastboot nor system, i only have the stock recovery with unauthorized adb.
Is there any hope getting my 2 day old phone back to life?
My condolences, I was in the same situation too. Is your phone under warranty?

If flashing/rooting/unlocking doesnt void warranty on oneplus, then yes, i just got the phone 2 days ago.
I can't flash anything as its not possible to get to fastboot nor adb, while bootloader is unlocked tho.
I already requested repair from oneplus and waiting on an answer, also i purchased a fresh one from amazon which will be delivered today.
All i wanted was https://github.com/LuigiVampa92/SystemEdxposed but Oxygen doesn't seem to have init.d support, i need system edxposed because my banking app always finds magisk even with valid safetynet.
PS: If someone got the scatter file for Nord 2, then i could flash stock again by SP Flash.
Also since i'll get a new phone, i just ask here if anyone knows an app or something to send AT commands to the mediatek.

Do you not get into bootloader fastboot mode if you power up the phone with Vol - and Power button keys?
Nope, it also shows just like on system boot the corrupted boot message.
All i have access to is stock recovery with unauthorized adb and MediaTek COM Port which i could use to flash but i need a scatter file for that.

My situation is the same. When I push VOL- and Power I get recovery, where is unauthorized ADB, well I am not able to restart Nord 2 5G to fastboot/bootloader mode.

I got info that I have to push both VOL+ and VOL - with Power (3 button at once) for enter to fastboot/bootloader.
It was self relocked. I had to unlock it again and after that I was able to flash vbmeta2.img again. The phone is working. But I have 3 problems.
1.) Camera not works.
2.) I am not able to updates = flash from A.07 to A.11 (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/oneplus-nord-2-oxygen-11-3-dn2103-eea-rom.4331695/post-85615147 = update_07_auf_09.zip, update_09_auf_10.zip, update_A10_auf_A11.zip).
- With TWRP:
- With stock recovery where show this for few second and back on Android I got message that update failed.
3.) With SafetyNet patch (Magisk Hide Config Props) I pass with SafetyNet test, but in Google Play the devices haven't Google Certification and from that reasons I am not able to use Google Pay.
I will try erase all partition (for total death of phone = display will not show anything after push power button) and send it to repair, when I bought it new on Thursday afternoon.
e.g.:
dd if=/dev/null of=/dev/block/sdc49 (boot)
dd if=/dev/null of=/dev/block/sdc30 (boot_para)

(Realme 6) After flashing my phone with the original ROM, google pay doesn't work

So I tried installing a custom ROM on my Realme 6 a while ago and it didn't work out so I had to flash my phone with the stock ROM, after doing so, after every restart I get a boot message:
Orange State: Your device has been unlocked and can’t be trusted…Your device will boot in 5 seconds
The phone still boots alright but I cannot use google pay or specific services as it says that the phone cant be trusted.
Does anyone know of this and how to fix it? quite a frustration not being able to use my phone for paying anymore.
edit: i read that relocking the phone fixes it but i also read that you may hardbrick your phone. kinda lost.

You unlocked the bootloader, you need to re-lock the bootloader, that is what the "device can't be trusted" message means.
Find a guide on the internet or a thread here that discusses unlocking/locking the bootloader on your specific model number, if other people with your exact model have re-locked their bootloader without bricking their device, follow the same instructions/steps exactly the way they did and you shouldn't have to worry about bricking the device if you carefully follow instructions to the letter.
If you already searched and found the solution, why did you come here to ask? It isn't like their is an alternative solution that can be found here. Lock your bootloader, that's it.
I found guides but wanted to make sure, anyway, I typed reboot bootloader command, and my phone restarts and is stuck with a message

I didn't flash using twrp, I used SPFLASH tool and then after the process finished, my phone back to first update, I was then able to relock the bootloader using the normal commands.
