Lg g5 6.0 tmobile h880 - LG G5 Questions & Answers

I unlocked developer options on my phone. I didn't download anything or change no settings. A few days later my phone was acting odd. The it kept restarting over and over then it would get stuck on the tmobile logo. Then when it fully powered up i get a warning saying my device has been corrupted it cannot be trusted and will not run properly
Visit this link g.co/abh
Then it turns off and hasn't done anything since. Hard reboot will not work. My computer is not even recognizing it. It does nothing.

Need urgent Help with wrong nand restore of LG-F160 "K" variant on its "S" variant
Hi dear helpers,
I got a phone (LG-F160S ) for my girl friend. I already have my own same rooted phone but of " K " variant.
I rooted and installed cwm recovery on her "S" variant, and nand restored her S phone with my K back up.
Now the phone boots, giving "Security error" under LG logo. Situation now is:
>It goes to "LG repair service mode", gets detected as adb device and adb works.
>Goes to "download mode" but doesn't get detected at all, not even a device attached sound on windows, as if nothing has been connected to Pc. Download mode just stays there as if hung and stuck. So can't flash Kdz
> have tried different computers and different data cables but no luck.
> My own K variant with same computer setup and drivers gets detected properly on download mode, but that victimized " S " variant shows no signs of connectivity, although it works and responds to Adb from "Lg service repair mode ".
Now please tell me what do I do next to revive phone? I think the wrong boot.img has been restored. SO may be need to somehow flash appropriate boot.img via Adb.??
Help please you all Nice helpers....

[q] brick, kdz usb error

Hi, I was looking everywhere since yesterday but can't find a solution. I had cwm + twpr + lollipop cm12. I've decided to back to stock, so as allways: driver, b2cApp, kdz, v20h and v10a, usb, s/w mode, xml parser, shhtp, etc... Standard offline kdz method. But during flashing I stuck on 15% and get the info that my phone anad pc are not connected by usb cable, I tried changing usb ports at pc, reinstaling everything, but I have still the same error. If that woldn't be much enough I ****ed something up and I think I don't have any recovery right now
I can put my phone in s/w mode but I stuck on 15% with usb not connected error.
I can put my phone in fastboot mode but my pc does not recognize it, its just pluging in and out it from windows.
I can put my phone in stuck on LG logo 'mode'
Any help? How to unbrick it? How to flash stock or at least some custom recovery? Of course unlocked bootloader. Please help me :crying:
Key it ****ed up even more.
When kdz show me to connect my cable i clicked retry, plugen cable out and in, kdz found my device, and go to step 2. In half way I had again the same error, so again clicked retry, plug out, plug in. Again founded my device, when I had downloaded 100%, same situation. founded my device, log that tool is extracting kdz and nothing. Waiting about ~1,5h, nothing happend, so I diconected cable. In that moment kdz go to third step and I get windows force close for not repodnig app kdz. I said a loud **** and started again. Phone has not been found anymore by kdz. After a few tries, booted to fastboot, and connected to computer. It has been found as Google Fasbtoo USB, no way to update driver to fastboot. I disconected phone and decided to try again with s/w but nope. S/W not turning on anymore (with or without battery). Fastboot not turning on any more. Just LG logo, when I'm connecting device to PC it is sometging pluging in and out but nothing showing in device manager
Any ideas? Please!
I have the SAME problem with my (now old) LG... I read more than 20 tutorials for getting back to stock and nothing
Sent from my GT-I9205 using XDA Free mobile app

1. Can't find orginal p760 recovery, tried to flash p769 and I get wird effect, after LG logo screen looks like broekrn, some color stripes and all display going to white, then turn off.
2. Using fastboot and choosing options wit u-boot making my phone turning to LG logo with no security error, still no s/w, fastboot or recovery mode.

I can go into 'S/W Mode' and into 'Fastboot Mode', but if I go into 'Fastboot Mode' my decive driver is hangs in a loop. Hanging all day and night to fix this problem, but I can't do anything.... I hope anyone can help me!
Windows OS: Windows 10

Yea, this is the last tool I used and it went fast as nothing else yet, but while flashing the stock firmware it doesn't continue at 60% and saying "Verifying phone connection...".
And does it work with Windows 10?
Thanks for your help!
Fastboot & L9 & Win10 ain't good for me, too.
But D/L mode is more basic and thus more reliable. And there are basically two ways to unbrick, online with the official LG tool, and with LG Flash Tool 2014 and a KDZ image. Only the first option works without problems for me.

Thanks for your time and answere!
Yea, I also think it's the Windows 10 which makes problems, I can't get any driver installed for this P760.
So I can just download the official lg support tool and try it this way?
EDIT: And btw... I did exactly the second step already and had also problems. I didn't did the D/L mode step yet. Can you explain how it works, I don't know how to come into D/L mode.
Thanks!
In da other Thread! In D/L mode the phone should get recognized by LG driver and a virtual com port be installed. LG software only works with LG drivers, and they sometimes don't recognize the phone, except in D/L mode.
Fir other purposes the Google SDK usb drivers are best, but then there's the Fastboot issue. But ADB should work.

The 'LG Mobile Support Tool' says that the right firmeware is already installed and then he is starting to download V20O with 599,15MByte. But the thing is, that the phone will just go out of the S/W mode while the 'LG Mobile Support Tool' is downloading the V20O. After the phone switched off, my driver is looping and always saying it can't recnogrize it. It does it like 20 times and then the phone will go on and LG logo appears. Nothing more.... :/
My P760 never quit D/L mode before or during download. Afterwards LGs recovery may appear, which calls itself something like Service Mode. This is not good, though the stock rom should initially work, but there are problems when rooting etc. In such a case leave phone connected and flash a second time. The phone should reboot to the launcher, if successful.

Revived Hard Bricked Lg Leon

Hello everyone,
My dad has a Lg Leon H340F, which I tried to update without success to Android Marshmallow I followed the post "How to update LG Leon H340N to Android M and Unlock the Bootloader"
The first time I flash it, the tool showed that it was completed successfully but the phone didn't turn on, it was in a bootlop,
I thought I had done something wrong, so I tried again,
the second time the phone showed "COM5" while was flashing, the tool again showed the process was successfully completed but the phone was still in a bootloop, it no longer allowed me to enter the download mode,
When I connected it to the computer by pressing the volume down button, the charging icon appeared, the LG Flash Tool program no longer recognized it.
When I turned it on normally and while it was in the bootloop I connected it to the computer, it emitted the sound that something had been connectedt, but the LG Flash Tool did not recognize it either.
I thought all was lost,
I decided to try it with the official tool LG Mobile Support Tool, It did not recognize it either,
Then I realized that there was an option called "recovery error update" in which I was asked for the IMEI number, I entered it, and later it began to download the firmware, and was successfully installed on the smartphone.
Now he's alive, with lollipop, but alive.
I do not know if it will work in other cases, but give it a chance.

You shouldn't have unplugged it while the flashing software was working.
Now you need a new mother.
