Hello Community,
i have a little Question about the customizing of a tool.
I am a Field Force Engineer in Austria for Orange and T-Mobile and have extracted a tool named GENEX PHU from a Android Huawei U8800 Ideos X5. Now i am looking for a developer who can customize this tool for all devices, because it works only on the Huawei device. I can install the app to my HTC Wildfire or to an ALCATEL ONETOUCH990, but it will close after starting. Unfortunately i don't have the knowledge to make this job by myself.
The Tool is a Network Monitor / Field Test with special options. It allow the test of a specified Network Cell with scrambling code and frequency number.
If there is anyone, who can customize the app, please leave a message in the thread and i will send the tool via PM or as downloadlink or i will post it as attachement. If the tool works on all devices, the developer can post it in the forum for all other users.

Hi motiis,
i know that it is easier to than Nokia Fieldtest.
For this reason I wanted to use Genex PHU on my HTC Wildfire.
It can be also installed, but unfortunately it will be automatically closed when I start it.
I have attached the Genex PHU in this post.
Please let us know about your experience with this tool.

Can that be done? did you extract the license as well? Remember, the first thing that the apk does before even starting is display the message "license verifiyng". Perhaps it looks for a specific signature telling the program that the phone is huawei branded?
where are they?
Noob question: how to extract the license for this app from the phone? i use genex phu as well and i will be happy to share as long as i do not violate any policiy regarding apps sharing in the forum

@ValoXis is trying to PORT Ubuntu Touch to Nexus 5 using Kernel source from CyanogenMod 11 .
He has done a great job until now , but he has some problems , here is the Text he wrote on a social Page :
Solved kernel problems. Now there are complications in the ROM. The system does not start despite loads all the drivers. He stands on the bootanimation with frame drops and brightness that goes from low to maximum. Adb works. MTP drivers are detected but not loading.

you can turn off / disable cores in an app called redmi note 2 tool. you can find it in playstore. i tried every single app but the only one which worked is redmi tool. you can set touch boost value, active cpu cores, governors, io, and some others...

Note 27/04/2016 : In other phone (lg g2 d805) , i use this theme (https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/how-to-password-protect-twrp.321491/) to put password in recovery !

Hey have you found anything? Looks like it uses Huawei Share feature so might be something hardware based.
