[THEME] High Contrast : Blacked - Samsung Galaxy S8+ Themes, Apps, and Mods

UPDATE!! added v2 Blue .. and Red ..
using new High contrast from theme store, which has blue accent and new icons.
PS: I will not update these apk anymore, so this is end of life for high contrast blacked theme. Thx guys for the support :good::laugh:

This is basically Samsung High Contrast Theme with black notification & light colored text.
Yes, it is possible without Root and unfortunately, without Subs (those who use subs, it doesn't work)
this is a usual Custom Trial theme, so install and apply like it.
- install
- apply (free trial)
- reboot
- re-apply (go to theme store, Stop trial, and click Free trial again)

A: try to install with theme store opened, higher chance (open theme store, press home, install this, wait until install complete toast)

A: you've never use custom themes then.. u can search google or xda on how to make themes not reverting back.

Firstly,
Thanks for the mod theme. Really looks great.!
However, some notifications dark, only one white text.

if you re-apply theme after reboot, I'm sure download manager and screenshot are white.
for the other apps, yea I need package name, (eg. whatsapp is com.whatsapp )

Bit confused, sorry as ti what app package name you want.
Some apps in Notification is white
and some not.
Do you want package names of apps not showing white text in the notification bar?

have you reapply theme after reboot ? (go to theme store, stop trial, and click Free trial again.)

Further information,
I followed your instructions as set out in post #1.
I rebooted and could re apply theme (in App store showing)
However after a while i noticed
that i could only "stopped trail" No more re apply?
Also That theme reverted back to my previous theme
i had on phone.... but my Notification bar is still black.?

yeah, don't look for "Reapply" button, you should go to theme store again and click "Free Trial" on this theme again.
As for notification still in black, don't worry, it will revert back after reboot
(Custom trial theme mod from outside theme store needs reboot to apply and clear )
And to make custom theme stick and not revert back to default themes,
I will update the post later.

Yes, i followed your original guide /instructions,
in post 1.
All installed as set out in your instructions.!
Secondly the black notification bar did not revert
back after a reboot.?
What i did was just installed the original
Samsung black theme, over all all is well. and it worked.
See screenshot below
However, i have for a long time looking for a way to get the notification bar black (without root)
So i appreciate your theme mod..!
Going back to apply your black theme mod
as i can still read the other notifications !!
I will update you later.

yes, you will need to do procedure on how to make theme not reverting back,
using package disabler app, try BK package disabler,
after you apply the theme, disable samsung theme store and Themes (themecenter) and clear their Data.
you dont need clear data. You only do 2 steps:
1. you install this theme and use Samsung disable package to disable theme center and samsung themes.
2. you enter developer mode\running apps\, then you stop this apps named "themes".
Afterall you done. Will never revert !!!
P/s: you must do step 2 again when you restart phone !

Tried as you mentioned..but it's not working. Some text are coming perfectly in white but some notification are still coming in grey. I am using S7 Edge.
However WhatsApp notification is showing text perfectly in white.

Sure see the attached screenshot and one more thing I would like to ask you. Now when I get what's app notification popup the pop up background is not black it's transparent.
