Oleophobic coating - Huawei P10 Accessories

As most of us know, the screen of our P10 does not has an oleophobic coating. This is the main reason why Huawei delivers the P10 out of the factory with a screenprotector.
As I don't like to use screenprotectors, I was looking for other solutions and discovered that it is possible to add an oleophobic coating afterwards yourself.
Doe anyone here has some experience with this?
Regards,

I bought some cheap stuff from China. It was great... For what was probably just a few minutes. A few hours later my phone was a slimy mess. I use a glass protector with coating instead.

I used the liquid screen protector "Shark Proof" from Amazon UK which adds a further layer of scratch protection to the Gorilla Glass 5 as well as an oleophobic coating. It has been applied for approx 3 weeks, very pleased so far.

Best screen protector for Note 3?

Most of the screen protecors I have used have been garbage. I hate the peel ones becauase some small piece of dust always seems to get trapped under them. The ones where you use water to stick them are pretty cool, but I haven't found any that are amazing. What I'm looking for is a screen protector that isn't a fingerprint magnent, but also one that is easy to install. Any suggestions?

Have you tried note 3 tempered glass screen protector? They are amazing and easy to apply.
I have a tempered glass screen that I haven't put on yet. They sound good, but I'm worried about two things: the screen being a fingerprint and smudge magnet and if a case would be able to go over the phone with a tempered glass screen.
I have one that I haven't used yet because I am worried about a few things:
Will it attract fingerprints and smudges and will a case be able to fit the phone with that particular screen protector?
I can highly recommend the Nillkin 9H tempered screen protector. It costs around ₹800 here in my country (so should be around 12-13 USD/10 EURO) and it is an extreme value for money product. I really love mine.
Finger print magnet? I don't know! All the hard type screen protectors catch finger prints and smudges, I think, but I won't call it to the extent of being a magnet. With any tempered screen protector one thing a person should do, clean it whenever you get a chance.
If you're truly worried about fingerprints you may want to consider buying an oleophobic coating kit. It's a liquid/gel based coating that is fingerprint resistant. It's already applied to phones in the factory by default, but it wears off.
Most cases have no problem with tempered glass screen protectors.
Spigen is really good. I think they also have a fingerprint resistant one.

Which is the best glass screen protector. Any experience with Anoke's?

Over a year has passed since the Note PRO came out. Which is the best screen protector as of today? Has any of you used the Anoke Tempered Glass Screen Protectors 9h hardness, 2.5d Rounded Edges, 0.3mm Thickness? It seems to have received very good overall reviews.
I am still using a plastic-like screen protector from Samsung. I got it as a gift from an electronics store. The problem with it is that it is a finger print magnet. Also, as I use the device as a phone, it is easy to see lots of saliva droplets as I talk to the screen sometimes.

I wont recommend a tempered glass as the extra thickness will interfere with the S-pen

I used a tempered glass that i bought from aliexpress for 4.4 USD
It is good but finger prints are there too
I applied it for protection only
There are no problems with the spen as far as i know
I was going to post the link but the item is already removed
Still perfectly satisfied with my Mime tempered glass screen protector. I have no significant issue with pen use. The only issue is the gap around the bezel but I don't care one iota about that.

Huawei P10 - Tempered Glass Protection

Hi guys,
I just bought to me Huawei P10. I would like to ask, does the the phone come already with a screen protection? If yes what kind of glass is that?
After removing the plastic protection i noticed that there is a small glass or protection (very thin but is there) on the top of the screen. After applying a tempered glass on the top of it, because it is slightly bigger than that protection, there is a bubble of air all around the borders of the tempered glass.
So can anyone tell me what kind of glass is that that comes with the phone? It is easy to take it off? Should i substitute it by a tempered glass?
Thank you very much for your help.
Best Regards
It has Corning Gorilla 5 but no oleophobic coating under the factory preinstalled film, which is easily scratched. I have already removed mine and using this glass https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=75089574&postcount=32 it is not a full screen but it is not too big and aplies well with no gaps.
Are people really removing that "Corning Gorilla 5" glass and replacing for a different one? Is not good enough? or is one of those debatable things?
Apparently now i have two tempered classes on the top of my screen.
I bought this one:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0759FWFTK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Should i use the "Corning Gorilla 5" that come with the phone, or the one I bought is better?
Or should i buy a better one like the one suggested by ylapas: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=75089574&postcount=32
Thank you again.
I dont see how you can remove the Corning Gorilla 5 screen and use a glass screen protector on it. you have to have the screen on to put on the protector.

Oleophobic coating - safe to remove screen protector

hey guys
i recently purchased a Mate 10 and im extremely excited to get it.
I just wanted to ask if its safe to remove the pre-applied screen protector ( im not a fan of plastic preinstalled protecters ) but my last experience with an Oppo phone and removing the protector resulted in a screen without oleophobic coating
So i want to know the situation with the Mate 10
I have the mate 10 pro but I think it's the same. The screen protector is not very oleophobic, so I removed it. The glass is very smooth now, so don't worry.
Yes, you can remove it...but in my opinion I would get a better screen protector 1st. I will leave mine on until my Nilkin tempered glass protector arrives to replace the factory protector. Choice is yours.

I was thinking of buying the same glass protector. Can you let us know how it feels etc?
As soon as I receive it and get it installed I will do so. There are other Huawei forum(s) where some have already used it and said it works great but that it is a little narrow due to the curved edges. Nature of the beast....the STUPID curved edges the OEM's have for some reason decided is the way to go! Hurts the screen protector manufacturers as well as us the end users.

Little scratches and Oleophobic coating on Mi A3

After one month of use, i noticed that my Oleophobic coating is almost gone, there is much scratches that i believe being not on the glass but on the coating. There is any way that i can repair that? I'm using a MOFI case, it struggles the front screen making it protected, so i believe that a glass screen protector will break with the pressure of the case.
