USB-C to HDMI cable? - HTC U11 Accessories

Hi all, have recently started on the U11 adventure.
Anyone tried using direct USB-C to HDMI male cable for U11? Something like this-
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Amk...3-1-Type-C-Male-to-HDMI-Male/32812096145.html
This is for Macbook and wondering if it will work for our beloved U11.
Thanks!

Not using such a cable but a hub. Link an short answer to some questions can be found in my thread.

Hdmi cable

I thought I read some where that a micro hdmi end would fit into the flyer, but when I tried mine it would not fit or at least not easy enough and I didn't want to force it. Does anybody know if this is correct or if we will be able to connect a hdmi out to a tv?

No you don't. Get an mhl cable. It does hd out through the charging port
If you want it now you can just get an MHL to HDMI adapter off the net otherwise wait for HTC'S one.

Keep us posted , I am looking for one too.
I quote, I'm looking for a cheaper one than the official.
The MHL adapter for the Sensation from TMobile works great.
You need to have a micro usb charger plugged in though.
No flickering. Woohoo
I cannot find an adapter hdmi available for the flyer.
I should prefer one which doesn't need power, did you find one available for purchase online ?
Any news about the adapter to connect an hdmi cable ?

I received it just now, but I can't charge it, I can't use the flyer charger, so, what charger did you use ? Have I to configure something on Flyer's setup menu to activate the device output ?
I got the infuse adapter today will report back. Do you have a phone charger?

You ll need a mhl connector. You are right that the mhl connector has a power plug for micro usb. Tmboile has one that I am using that works perfecttly.

I got problems to connect my flyer with my tv.
I have an original ac500 mhl adapter and a samsung lcd tv with hdmi, when i connect the flyer with my it tv doesn't show anything. With a noname cable my Htc sensation is displayed on the tv. All other connection to computer e.g. are working right with my flyer. Everything is stock on my flyer.

Hdmi out...feel like a noob

I can't seem to wrap my head around this... I have a mini hdmi that I've used for my Evo 4G but how in the hell do get hdmi out for the View? No where in the manual but everyone talks about it online. Is the mhl cable different from the hdmi mini?
Sent from my PG41200 using XDA App
Yes the MHL is an adapter box , different vs. the mini HDMI and MHL is required to connect to HDMI.
For example here is an adapter. There are cheaper generic adapters that work just fine as well.

Ridiculous, always a new adapter or cord. Thanks

actually very common, most tablets do it that way including Samsung and Moto
You can get the same adapter at monoprice for $10 I believe

USB cables

Which USB cable do you use
I currently use one from a white HOX I bought from King on xdamp

Any Micro usb cable does the job. I use the one from my previous blackberry phones

I use any old USB cable to move files and stuff (though mostly I just eject the card), but in the car I use a charging USB cable so I can get the full AC charge voltage out of it.
Yeah same here. I like the kindle charger because its like 4ft

12-pin micro-USB
Standard one that comes with the phone 12-pin and a Motorola dual port wall charger cuz it charges the fastest.

Used to use the stock one provided with the phone, until one day I mis-unpluged it and both the micro usb port of the usb and the port of the phone got broken....
I then went and fixed the phone, brought some HTC usb wires from china......and the wires were really cheap...like $1/wire..
BTW, I'm talking about the Canadian WindMobile version of the phone, which has a strange&funny port shape than the regular micro usb ports the main version of the phone have(I'm blaming my fail on that which made me a little happier).....

Possible fault with output: Resolved

Hello all
Just asking for help as to if anyone think my Nexus 10 has a fault.
I've not managed to get USB off or HDMI out working.
I bought what I thought would be a good USB otg cable but it won't work.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Samsung-E.../400320687174?ssPageName=ADME:L:eek:C:GB:3160
Also I bought an micro HDMI to HDMI cable and again it won't work
I've ordered alternatives of both cables but my worry is that it is my N10 and not the cables.
Anyone else had problems?
Sent from my Nexus 10 using XDA Premium HD app
It seems to me that it would be more likely that the problem is how you are setting it up or with whatever else you are trying to connect to.
Have you used the otg/micro hdmi cables on a different device?
New cables have resolved the issue, couldn't believe that both cables of different types were the problem.
